Hmmmmm a new wax. I might have to try it!!!! I have a cut scheduled for next Tuesday and I want to go full funky lol. I added some pinkish purple to my front last night. I’m an “over-fiddler” and end up yelling at myself “whyyyyyyy didn’t you just stoppppppp!” 😂 Sharalee-your hair looked gorgeous just with the blow-dry! I need a style like that when I go to the beach for 12 days in July-I won’t want to be messing with my hair every morning!!! My problem is at 61, it’s very thick and wavy, I’m thankful it’s not thinning, but man it requires too much work, no matter how short or long. 🫤 My husband calls my 2nd suitcase my “hair salon on wheels.” 😅😆 To be fair, I WAS a hairstylist for 25 years so I cannot confirm nor deny I might be overly picky. 😂✂️
Hey Sharalee! Loving the look! I’m still using the Enjoy Dry wax through the crown area even though it’s longer now. I’ll have to check out this new wax. My daughter brought me some Kendra platinum texturizing taffy but it doesn’t have enough hold for me. She won’t be without it.

A really appreciate mentioning what works or not for fine hair people with the products you mention! I have a lot of hair, but it’s fine. It’s like cornstalk it’s so straight, and my stylist notices every cut if it’s not correct. I forget what type of hair stylist call it, but bless her because I think my hair is a pain in the butt! 😅

This is super cute on you, i love it!! I just got my pixie cut today and she used a razor. I am just struggling to get that piecy volumized look! I really love all the shorter layers in your hair but it still has length. I think that is what my haircut is missing still. We will see when i style it tomorrow morning ❤

My Beverly Hills Clear Wax jar came today and I'll be trying over the weekend. I styled my hair today using Enjoy Dry Wax (my go-to product too) and lowered the side part and LOVED it! I also self tanned yesterday using one of your recommendations, Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun (Ultra Deep Bronze). I LOVED THAT TOO! Thank you so much for your time and sharing your knowledge. My hair is styled very similar to yours. Generally speaking, to spike my hair I work in Aussie Freeze spray on the crown when my hair is damp. Blow dry it THEN more of the Aussie in the crown. The Aussie drys fast. Then I take my flat iron to my crown and pull the sections straight up (no bend at all) I let it cool then just just my fingers to style. Hey it works for me buuuuuuut I LOVE to watch your videos for tips. Your style was the inspiration for my short pixie ❤️ I never thought to "flip" the front sections of my hair. Can't wait to try it that way.
I love it. I use the enjoy dry wax and sometimes it is hard to work with. I like my pixie spiky too. So I’m anxious to try it. Thx for always giving great advice ❤

I have super super thick course curly gray hair. I’m 46. I watch your makeup videos but never really watched your hair videos because mine is so curly I figured it wouldn’t be for me. Today I clicked on this because girl you are so sweet and a joy to watch ❤ I’m glad I did! I use hair wax everyday on my curls as the very last step in my routine. I found it gives my hair that grit and texture it needs to not just fall flat because it’s so dang heavy. I’m certain you can relate to that! lol I also use the AG hair brand Bigg Wigg Root Volumizer in the exact same areas you do! So funny! I love the AG and I have 4 backups. It’s good. I’m going to try yours though to see if I like it!
Ok hair wax……18.21 Man Made hairstyle wax in the Sweet Tobacco scent is my ride or die! I have 2 backups and one in my office at work lol the scent is gorgeous…….to me. This is a company that sells products to men so the fragrance is definitely more on the masculine side but I loved it so much I ordered their perfume in the same scent and I wear it every day. Get many compliments so I know it doesn’t smell “manly” on me. Highly recommended from me! Originally found a jar on clearance at my local Penny’s salon and bought it on a whim because I thought the scent was just so good. Turned out to be my number one!!!! Amazing! I was adding to my Ulta and Amazon cart as I watched the video! (Is anyone else having trouble with the Ulta website? So frustrating. ) Going to have my stylist cut the back of my hair next week so it’s spikier. My hair is so heavy, it wants to fall after awhile, despite being texturized. My hair was course now white. Lots of body wavy used to be curly before I went white. Went on medicine 7 mos ago. Now straight softer (weard) nevervhadvtobyse hair spray never heard of these products. Thank you. Going to try and you look lovely

Ok, I'm hacking my hair off, yet again!! LOVE your cut! I've tried to grow it out and successfully managed to, "try" for about 6 months, but I'm done. Your hair is so cute and I had it cut like this before (but not shaved on the side), and I loved it. Why, oh why did I try to grow it out?!! Have two more weeks to go until I get it cut and it's driving me crazy! LOL! Thanks for doing another hair tutorial, as I'll need new styling products when my hair gets cut and, "back to normal!" Same here! I tried to let mine grow starting in January. After four months I was miserable and hated it! Last haircut I went back to real pixie and am now loving my hair again!

That clear wax looks mighty tempting! Not available in the UK 😭 but will add it to my next order of Enjoy Dry Wax (which I also have to import!) My superfine superfair hair is really struggling with products at the moment - everything looks greasy, even my fav Enjoy Dry Wax! Not sure if I'm using too much?? @@twins2645 I use my hairdryer, just for a few seconds to soften it up. I’m not a big fan of enjoy, but I do use it some.
You could always try a barber. I went to a woman barber for years and she was amazing!

Spikey and funky is good.
I love your style. I cut mine similar, just left fringe sides. I use a product called Gorilla Snot.😂 I like it as good as Kenra Taffy and the cost is way cheaper.

Great question! I use the Bed Head Root Pump Plus when I travel because it does come in travel size and works very similarly to the Catwalk😘

Your hair always looks cute. I bought the enjoy dry wax about a year ago, on your suggestion, I can't stand the smell. Wasted money. Maybe I'll try the new clear wax, I have thick heavy hair. Fingers crossed..
You put in highlights?
I am flying out of country for 2 weeks. Advice for style, products that can go in carry on please ( we are not checking bag )
You can decant the creams into a small container, but it doesn't work for foam or aresols. Just visit a store or salon at your destination. Maybe they have small sizes.
The Bed Head Hard Head hairspray comes in a travel size can so I'd take that and the Big Sexy Hair Root Pump plus (also comes in a travel size). And then of course I can't be without my Enjoy Dry Wax so just de-pot some of that into a smaller container and you should have all you need!😘
My asymmetrical pixie is just a tiny bit longer than yours. I have a lot of hair, but it is fine hair. I always get a "Jane Jetson" flip on the ends of the long side.
Sounds very cute! I understand about those flippy ends. You may try having your stylist not texturize the ends as much in that side...leave a little more "weight" on the long side😘
How I style my pixie is simple, wash, dry with towel, brush it down, find the side part, ensure no bits are sticking up, curl under with brush do this every 10 min or so just a few times, let it dry naturally, tiny bit of hairspray in place.
