Great video. Car is awesome isn’t it! I’ve had mine since brand new in 2018 and it’s been glorious! I agree what you said… there are a select few who will actually take or be able to drive a gt350 on track. When I bought my Shelby, Ford paid for a full day of racing school, and that was my first time at the track. Since then, I’ve gone a handful of times in mine. So glad Ford offered that , and allowed people to experience these cars as they were designed
I’m so glad ford did that… it’s hard to make a sports car for the masses, where people won’t get themselves hurt… but if you numb it too much.. the true enthusiast won’t enjoy it… Thanks for the view and comment.. don’t sell your car and hang onto it forever…
Definitely an amazing car. It's a 'forever car' for me. I love the steering. I agree, not set up for sliding, but made to get around a corner fast, and with gobs of feedback.
Could you have given your thoughts on the GT350R anywhere else instead of flexing the 3RS?! LOL. I’m playing, another great review, so entertaining watching you try to survive a gt350R on bald tires.
nice GT350R review and steering discussion. Jason Camisa wrote an article on how he crashed a GT350 while trying to slide since he believes the steering is too "slow" on the EPS rack (using smaller motors to get more feel), vs a EPS rack with big overly boosted motor, easy to slide but less feel (BMW). google this -> (Sometimes, Steering With Great Feel Is the Last Thing You Want). I've noticed I need quick inputs when the car wiggles and slides with TC/ESP off or even in race mode with TC off. Also need to be quick when doing a donut or peelout. Love to charge in the canyons with restraint and listen to each 50 RPM incremental change in orchestral noise. I've had mine on track only a couple times in 4 years after tracking my old cars a lot, but Its so good on any twisty road and it a fantastic road car with a special feel. looking forward to part 2. subbed!
I remember reading that same article a while back on work just stuffing my brain with more GT350 information. It sent me down a rabbit hole of trying to find anyone that manufactures a HPS instead of the EPS. Back in 2016 when this car was announced It immediately became my bucket list car. Really cool that you got to track yours. Dont let her sit though. Go do what I wish I could be doing. Putting down some Serious Hot Laps 😂
Agree with steering assessment. when I test drove one I was expecting great steering and feel based on reviews. But it seemed light with little feel. I thought maybe it’s better on track when it loads up. Thank you for confirming it’s not just me, but it’s just the steering is not that great. Too bad because the engine is amazing!
I think they made the steering slower because of how bad this car tram lines. I mean mustangs have never been known for quick steering so could just be inherent to the platform. But with how much people complain about the tramlinjng I could see ford making the steering slower as a way to address this issue cheaply without reengineering the steering geometry. I could image if the ratio was quicker it would be darting all over the road even more.
Get Uli Bieri to take you round the track he could show you what that car could really do (and some good tires) I took a ride in Uli's Porsche my daughter in the front seat me kind off in the back seat Uli behind the Wheel ..I gave him permission to scare the crap out of both of US and he didn't let me down, I could hardly stand when I got out of the car Uli looked like he was out for a Sunday drive ..it was way better than the three laps driving our selves in the dream cars, Great Job on Bald tires ...I have a 07 427R I am for sure going to take it round the track this year a couple of lessons from Uli if I can arrange it

nothing beats the sound of a naturally aspirated V8 MURICA RAAAAAAA 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
this deserves so much views

LEGENDARY.
Glorious motor! Car seems like a real handful with bald tires...Looking forward to the Part 2 video!
Coming soon!
Great vid man! GT350 is my bucket list car.
Wish I had never gotten rid of my gt350! Amazing car stock…complete killer with coilovers, and square 305’s!

So entertaining 😂. Another great video. Can’t wait to see you set a lap time on the SC3R’s.

Awesome review Jason! You know my blood runs deep with this car. It was between the GT350 or the M2. The GT350 is a car that I still desire.😊
I purchased my GT350 4 years ago and it never gets old. Nothing quite like it
Is it true that the nanny traction still kicks in even on track mode?

I basically had a heart attack the entire video...
Shame the tires were worn out.
Just started the vid… are those rear wheels supposed to be cambered that much?
Did you get another go?

Weren't you supposed to do a new video with new tires?
It’s coming!
Awesome car but just wish I could trust the voodoo. Too risky to own out of warranty unless you’re cool with a $25k replacement cost.
Great… Now I have to V8 swap the BRZ… 😅

With the bald tires this car is still 10s faster than my shit box💀
What kinda shitbox you got if I may ask 😂 can’t be that bad right !
@@BrzBoyz831 b7s4. I exaggerated too much but gt350r is for sure much faster
Oh...you haven't driven a Mach 1 HP or GT500. "Nothing like it" makes more sense now.
That’s in the line up…! Stay tuned….
@@DriversPaddock Nice!
Wait till you drive the ZL1/1LE 😉
That’s in the schedule for next month !
