Taking off the fairings is a bit more fiddly than you’d like but quite straightforward. Have a look on UA-cam - maybe one of the Jaret Campisi or Motomillion videos should give you what you need.

A mate of a mate has just got a V4R with the Akrapovič system and also a limited edition paint job V2, and in the corner of his garage under a dust sheet his late Dad's 999R , I liked the 999 versions they got a right slagging when new, this has a Termignoni system so sounds good, all I could afford is a new hypermotard 950 with Termignoni exhaust system fitted it does me as my leg was smashed up by a BMW T boning me last August, anyway all good now, always wear your proper riding kit, it's just not worth it. Awesome, the bikes , not the leg , yeah the 999 wasn’t the most liked Ducati when it was released I guess coming after the 916,996,998… but I think it’s like a lot more now, we had a Fila edition here last year and it looked beautiful :) and thanks :)

Try an external mic that's put up by the brake lights for better sound.... you guys are just fun to watch!! The banter is fantastic. Also, after it says engine warm up it says like high revs or something?

@ProjectMoto yea for me the zoom h1n with a Rode lav mic is fantastic for the price. It'll take a little to get dialed in but it gets great sound

Yeah some people like the standard exhaust, it’s hot or miss I have found , and then some people like to see some pipe work
Need to get that V4R on the track to let that exhaust sing. Still sounds great on the road and loud enough to let cars know when your filtering.
Yeah for sure , we have customers who have them for road and track .. it certainly lets people know your coming..and wakes them up when you over take !

Yeah the baffles are still in , actually the sticker that was across the back of them said something like do not remove the baffles as this will affect the performance… so of course everyone will remove them 😂😂

I live in Aruba, we do have some Ducati's here on the island but mostly some hypermotard, old monsters some scramblers and some old "baby" panigale. I have the only V4 and the new Monster here on the island. Here on your channel I can enjoy and see the new bikes of Ducati.

Those V4R service schedules look interesting (for the few that make it to a track). Bike, exhaust, rearsets, mag wheels, a few more bits and bobs and you’re done! Awesome bike though. I had those Rizoma Stealth mirrors on my bike but recently swapped them for CRG Arrow bar-end mirrors with DB Race sequential indicators - much prefer this setup and the DB Race indicators are much nicer than the NRC ones. How’s the RGV coming along?
Yeah you need a few extra bits to buy.. as with all manufacturers there’s always more to get !! We loads loads of bar end mirrors, me personally I’m not a lover of them , prefer the Rizoma to standard, for look and use .. I will put up a RGV update this week :)
@@ProjectMoto Great, looking forward to the update! If the Rizoma had integrated turn signals they’d be better. DB Race do some small mirrors with integrated turn signals but, like the Rizoma, you’re still lifting your elbow to use them. Functionally I’ve found the bar-end mirrors to provide a better view. Then again, if you need to use your mirrors then you’re not going fast enough… 🙈 I recently heard the Akrapovic (that’s A-KRAP-O-VIC… 🤪) exhaust on the Diavel - you were right, it’s essential. 👍

Thanks .. it’s not actually my bike unfortunately, but I am 5”8 … the v4 is a little tall but I find it ok for me, but peoples legs, body and arms are all different lengths even if they are the same height so it differs for each person I guess

@@ProjectMoto After the old guys left it went downhill imo. I once picked up my bike finding several screws missing and a radiator hose left loose' Then the new clutch span loose - ERS at Knockhill for me now.
Don't blame him for having a cash point card and paying cash only. More people should do the same - if i was single i would. Too much risk in everyone going electronic only. Meant to add "great video!" ... I should pop round and drop off some biscuits too.

I don’t ride bikes but seen this exhaust conversion on different channels, but prefer the look of the standard bike, is it just me?
People either really like the under belly exhaust or they just don’t I have found.. some people like to see an exhaust pipe rather then it all enclosed underneath

Does it sound better than the Diavel with Akra ? Also, maybe you guys should do a muffler delete and compare it.
It’s not louder then the Diavel and has a totally different sound so that would be down to what sort of exhaust/engine sound , they are different V4 engines.. we have taken the the db killers out of our v4 track bike before when we did a video but they now have a sticker on them saying something like do not remove them as this may affect performance and your engine

17:00 The problem is he has no protection. CC's give you protection meaning if you buy something and are unsatisfied you can dispute the charge. You cant do that w/ cash. Plus if you loose the card vs you losing cash. I mean its all about protection and convenience.

Thanks , yeah the sound is awesome , I’ve found the underbelly exhaust is hit or miss with people , some like to see an exhaust pipe rather then have it all enclosed and tuck underneath.. they do have some nice low down Akrapovic and Termignoni exhaust as well

On these it is very easy.. but these exhausts do come with a sticker on now recommending not taking them out

The GoPros can never capture the whole of the sound... it has to be some kind of professional mic IMO all bikes sound same with GoPros or when recording with a phone

I’ve got an Akrapovic Evolution Line Titanium on my 2018 GSXR 1000R. My exhaust retails at £2400.00, and I thought that was taking the piss. Compared to that V4R exhaust, mine was a bargain. 😂

How many right hand drive V4Rs Did Ducati make for the UK?
In North America this exhaust comes up from the left side and the break fluid fill is on the left.
That’s strange I thought it was just the switch gear and levers were around the other way.. oh and the mirrors 😂
