Dear UA-cam. I don’t ride motorcycles, I’ve never ridden a motorcycle, and will never have anywhere near that amount of money. Your recommendations suck.
stop shaming and victimizing yourself. whatever your intentions are for commenting, YT allows people to have these shared experiences. you should be thankful for this
Yt could just recommend you videos about going to work and paying bills.
No body cares.
Sucks. To be you.
I think it's a sign.
They're cheaper than a car, and give you just a little bit more freedom to go and do things.
Ya never know unless you try.
13 years later you won it again, and you finally got your rolex. BRAVOOO!
Those damn V4 R's sound amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Bruh you need a proper motogp bike for yourself but am afraid you'd still won't be satisfied 🤣
Yeah they do‼️✌️😁🏆
I feel ya! Had a run off at T1 last month at the AHRMA race and thought that it was something I could ride out in the grass. My front wheel dug in right away and tossed me over - now I've got a broken collar bone and a (formerly) freshly rebuilt race motor full of sand.
That said, Roebling is one of my favorite tracks that we race because it's so flowing.
Awesome 👏 Josh! U look fit, trim, motivated and above all Happy! Congratulations 🍾🎊 on incredible 200 win at Daytona and bring home a championship on the Ducati V4r! Look forward to meeting you ( again!) at Barber in May 👏👍
Thank you so much for the support! See you at Barber!
Very cool video and brings back lots of memories from my youth. I'm an old retired Aerospace Engineer now but I grew up on two wheelers in the 60's/70's and raced Enduro's and a little flat track and competed in Trials events (my true love as a kid) and when I was a teenager I earned an AMA Expert license for 125cc motocross (ranked as high as 5th in the state) in the state of Florida in '74 in 10th/11th grade. In my Sr. year I had hung up my racing boots and was preparing for Engineering College when my Dealer sponsor (Island Yamaha in Merritt Island Fl.) asked me if I'd like to take a weekend trip to Homestead raceway to run some test laps on a new TZ350 (B). I had never even ridden a street bike at that point, but I jumped at the chance and of the three riders they let run laps I had the fastest laps. They then told me and my Dad that they were considering running some of the amateur prelim races at Daytona in '75 and asked if I would like to go? I obviously said yes but only on the condition that my motocross racing mechanic/tuner (my Dad the Rocket Engineer out at Cape Canaveral) could also go fully sponsored. I ended up getting a 5th place and then a podium 3rd place finish in two of the amatuer prelim races in 350cc class and earned my Expert/Pro 250cc/350cc license right there in bike week, which then made us eligible for the 200. We had a very small effort, just a pickup truck and a white ford van and weren't really equipped to run 200 miles but the Dealer's owner and my Dad talked about it and it was agreed we would race. So I got to race in the '75 daytona 200. i got lapped several times by the winner, a certain #1 plated yellow TZ750 ridden by you know who (King Kenny). We had brake and 6th gear problems and spent way too much time in the pits but i did finish, we were 35th out of 72 starts so not horrible. I ran about 1/3 of the '75 road race season after that, pretty much everything in the southeast with one race out west at Laguana Seca. My best pro finish was 9th a Road Atlanta. it was hard to compete against the 500's and 750's in the open pro class on a TZ350 but by the end of the year we had it bored to 400cc and my dad had bigger mikuni carbs with some motocross learned port work and I only weighed 135 lbs so we were getting more competitive. we talked many times about me getting sniffs from some of the bigger pro teams but as much as i loved riding scooters at speed and the competitive spirit of racing I had been accepted at Georgia Tech College of Engineering so I was really ready to move on. and P.S. our tire changes were not nearly as fast...lol
Wow. That's an awesome story! Those were the days that racing was the best!
stoked to see you doing well josh good luck this year 🏁
Danny A will always take care of you. I trust no one more than him with my bike.
Congrats on Daytona, freakin awesome !! That was so fun to watch and happy to support a class act Ducati team! I saw you on Kaplan America's channel keeping it humble, nice. I'll be pulling for you the rest of the season and hope to meet you at Road America in June.
i've never seen you like this before. I can feel how at peace you are. more of this. Whatever suffering you've been going through behind closed doors while you're training and working hard, it's worth it and I can feel it.
Dude you rock!! I've been a fan of yours for years and will follow you anywhere.
Man that V4 sounds scary. Glad to see Josh is comfy on it. Gonna be a great season!
anyone else remember drooling over the 1098R? Think it was around $75k, damn inflation!
"not going to go fast enough, to find the balance of the bike" Sheese, I topped out my GSXR750 on Roeblings straight years ago, ~165 mph~. I was looking for another gear before T1 braking zone...fun track.
my dad owned a 2020 model year v4R, I rode it once. now I consider myself a very good rider, obviously not a pro but I have been riding on dirt and tarmac since 5. I took that bike out and it was a humbling experience. it is a weapon, and definitely too much to enjoy on the street in any traffic. I do miss it but really i have just as much fun on my triumph, despite the hundred-horsepower difference
Congrats on the Daytona win!!! Didn’t know you had a UA-cam channel until just now. Subbed!
Hell yeah dude. You kicked ass at Daytona. You lost that baby weight :)
👍😹
Gonna try a standup wheelie entering a live track at my local track day :)
You will be kicked out very quickly
It’s not a local track day 😂
Has an off, remains in a great mood and is pumped to get back out... "Tell me you're a pro racer without saying you're a pro racer." GET EM! Watched you take it at Mid Ohio last year, what a race!!!
RRR is arguably one of the best places to do something like this. It's also one of the best tracks to begin your track-riding career on. No steep elevation changes, only one blind corner, long sweeping turns (which give you an eternity to figure out what's underneath you, and whether or not it's working) plus it's a relatively short track so lap times aren't all that long.
Warhorse absolutely knew what they were doing testing here. A place like RRR is almost perfect testing site for figuring out a solid baseline. It's also a perfect testing site for riders themselves. You have the best opportunity to take an honest skill assessment in the moment, and be able to recognize progress or mistakes as they happen, and still have enough time and room to correct them. Easily one of the lowest-stress track environments I've ever been to.
Lean and Mean. Good luck on the season.
Sick you're on the V4 this year! I hadn't heard about that until now. Hope you crush it this year with another championship. Glad I'm riding a Ducati with you (so to speak).
This is better than drive to survive and the new motogp series. Keep up the amazing content!
Best inside look yet! Josh is The Best! I may have to make a come back Ha, Ha.
Glad you hired your guy full time josh,it takes a shit load of time to to put up a professional vid on UA-cam 👍.keep the vids Rollin' in and great content hi from Australia 🖐️

Congratulations on the 200 Josh you ran a great race. Good luck on the rest of the season.
Can’t wait to see what you can do on the V4R this year. I need to pickup a new Herrin Ducati shirt to rock this season.
Only one to win the 200 at night and day I believe? Congratulations Buddy! Been watching you since your first podium at Miller I believe on the 600. Long hard road but you deserve the happiness looks like you’ve found on and off the track!
Filmed like a TV show nice
You are literally living a dream every man has wanted and hopes to have one day!! 🤘🤘🤘
I have to pinch myself all the time. I am very grateful.

Cant believe I just saw you on 44teeth. Awesome bro! Good luck this year. Hopefully I see you at Road Atlanta!
Hey Josh, Love these vids, as a bike racing enthusiast I only usually get to see racing from a paddock at the track or from my lounge on race day. These give me a great insight into the background work being done by you guys in the preparation for a weekend. Thanks for the effort,.
BEST of luck this year bro. Seriously ROOTIN for ya! Great vid
Nice job on the win last weekend!
lets see some training at the compound! great content, keep it up!
So jacked to see you back on a Superbike again. Not only that but THE bike to be on! Go buddy!
Really great content! That V4R sounds mean as f. I'm rooting for you to challenge the Yamahas for the championship. Good luck!
Make a video showing us how you back slide the rear end and do your stand up wheelies!
Nice shots with the 360 cam! And congrats on the Daytona win! I know there was a little but of controversy but you did what any good racer does when they see a nice opening. I'm sure you've got to be brimming with confidence after that great performance at Daytona especially with a great package like the V4R. And you lost 20 lbs from last season?! Dude, it shows you are really working hard to be the fastest you can be and it paid off big time!! 💯👍
I'm ready to come back to road Atlanta to watch the race.
Those standups are legendary
The V2 is a wheelie machine!
I can't imagine how that bike sounds, you live the life others dream of living, happy for you
It sounds just like the regular V4R, just go to a Ducati Dealer...
That bike sounds like a beast! The way you ride it shows that your the type of rider than can tame that beast.
I love the sound of the V4. Nothing like it unless you go to a GP race.
I think the pit stop practice for Daytona worked for you 🙂. Can't wait to watch the rest of your season. You've got a great team!
Crazy to think that I'm literally two of this guy. Moto riders really are modern day jockeys

That 750 had your number . But you won. Great win

Great video Josh! Thank you for sharing your experience with this beast, looks great, and sounds great...
Cool to see some footage of Roebling Road. It's a very cool yet obscure race track.

Rumor has it if you race this bike for a season, you wake up in WSBK. Lol
😂
What a win man! The way you cut through the traffic to win by milliseconds. Epic epic race. You remind me of Casey Stoner.
Go get’em Josh!
Loved seeing this close up footage of your Panigale race bikes, some drool worthy hardware that's for sure. Some great riding footage as well. If you're going to keep bringing that kind of content I guess I better subscribe!
awesome to see you back on the super bikes!

Geese Ducati Superbikes are now MotoGP level fast & light. Sick. .
Dear UA-cam, I ride and race a Honda CBR600RR. I will never ride a Ducati V4R unless it was given to me for free! But I love Josh Herrin's videos. Your recommendations rock!

your a beast bro! big inspiration to me and millions more! wish you the best and nothing but fame and fortune my brother!
Congratulations on the Daytona win 🏆 🏁🏍️
That bike sounds amazing
i know this is not very popular opinion but i've believed for years that those costs for street legal bikes are stupid, and even more on none world championships. for me SBK should've turned into superstocks since a long time. this is crazy that such low gains on track and difference between stock bike and sbk cost this much. i don't think this helps the discipline at all, as it's motoamerica or WSBK or BSB.
away from this, great footage and big congrats for daytona, been following you for some time, always pleasure to keep on your journey!
What a beautiful bike and nice lines on that track!
Love Roebling, awesome little track
