And we'll never know the ending to the story. Fucking publishers cancelling the final game in the Jensen trilogy. Something tells me that this game was even supposed to be fully completed but publishers wanted it cut in half for more money. i've replayed Human revolution and Mankind Divided countless times and know every locatiion by heart, and then I get sad because there were so many unanswered questions, even from side missions and random character encounters hinting at something from the next game. RIP DEUS EX. WHAT A SHAME.
They canned this franchise to suck Marvel's dick thats why
Good news on that front - the rights for Deus Ex have now been purchased by a new company who have made it clear that they intend to continue with the franchise, so odds are good Adam Jensen will ride again and we will finally get answers. Even better, other classic titles like Thief and Legacy of Kain were purchased in the same buy out, so several classic franchises that have lain fallow due to mismanagement in recent years ae set to return.

This game feels a lot like Part 1.
I don't know about a part 1, but definitely not the final act.
It was originally meant to be a trilogy for Adam Jensen but it’s been 4 years and the sequel has unofficially been cancelled due to poor sales.

Just finished my first run in this game, got the exact same ending, despite not managing to save Miller, instead the cultists are still alive. Funny, I thought the ending would be a bit more different.
You have to talk again with him to trigger that.

If you save the delegates first, that room has a secret door which will lead you directly to Marchenko, immediately. But for that you need to have collected a keycard earlier. So no time lost.
Damn so I got the perfect ending on accident just now. 😂 I had no idea I needed a keycard for it, I just so happened to have found it before.
I didn't find that bloody door, had to go around. Had to fight those bloody goons, somehow still managed to get there on time.

I took down Marchenko non-lethally and Alex says that he is dead, lol.
i played through this whole game just to get an ending that made me not feel good because it felt like everyone loses.

I finished it tonight after years, again. I was too eager to finally use all my augmentations against Victor and I did, no handheld weapons. Icarus punch, Typhoon, Nanoblade, P.E.P.S, Tesla, Focus, and Titan. It was well-choreographed and a satisfaction. I also spared him. The ending's almost similar to mine. Miller died, Allison's alive. I also took down Radich. It was all good for me.

No wonder this game sales didn't make waves feels incomplete... Like a ps3 game on the ps4... Like I was expecting more plot development and confrontation with the illuminati but it was just stopping a terrorist attack
@@SOMEONE23145 True. But the sad thing is that due to poor sales, we won't be seeing a sequel in the near future. Damn shame because this IP has a lot of potential given how cyberpunk's release left a void in this genre.
The final version that we play contains only a third of the original intended plot, the other two thirds would be in a sequel to this game, and then potentially a last one, finishing the Jensen “Trilogy” but as mentioned above, poor sales led to the devs throwing the franchise in the freezer indefinitely, opting instead to work on the Avengers game that recently came out, much to the world’s chagrin.
@@khaelstorm2552 not the devs, the publisher. I can assure you the dev team would love to finish what they started, but the people making these games are rarely the ones who have the finances to make decisions.

I couldn't get the ending where sokol appears or the dvali guy cuz I kinda killed both of them, and everyone else in my way, stealthily of course. However I did save both the delegates and miller and killed marchenko.
I mean realistically , why would you keep marchenko alive . He's an illuminati puppet who could be released from prison at a whim
I liked how I brought down marchenko. Hacking the bots and letting them shoot him. I tried for a non lethal (at least, not shoot anyone with regular bullets). Im still calling it a non lethal way to beat. (He didnt have to be there when the bots started turning on humans)

It was the easiest boss fight I’ve ever done, on my first playthrough I used invisibility and silent step and ran behind him and tried to finish, then when I got my ass kicked I did the same thing but shot him with my stun gun first, and he was down in the first 30 seconds of the cutscene being over

The ending of this genuinely pissed me off..i didnt save Miller because i thought i was half way through the game and might need it later.This ending feels empty and the fact that u cant skip the edning credit is scandalous

Game ended suddenly at I would say 40% of the story. And then the devs make unskippabl credits. Fuck this. Do not deliver yet collect the fame. Meh
Really, this game would've been much better if they hadn't cut it in half. Not gonna lie, it was a fucking slog, but I enjoyed the greater focus on a combat-heavy approach, compared to Human Revolution. It took me years to finish, just because it was so fucking full of bugs but now knowing the Deus Ex franchise are in new hands it gave me hope the next one will be better.
And I want to know it all.
I felt like Meh.
The previous installation was beautiful this is not even close to what the game was before... at least story wise.
