I feel like Rand meant that Selene is the only woman who ever saw him *just* as a man. He grew up with Egwene, so she knows the boy in him. It feels meaningful that a woman has accepted him as an emotionally (& physically) mature adult and he liked what if felt like to be seen that way. Honestly, his anguish was heartbreaking. I couldn't help but be reminded of how young and vulnerable he is, dealing with such heavy things just trying to figure out his place in the world. 😢 Josha is so good!

What a difference in room size between being an Accepted and being a Novice- I’ll bet that room was even bigger than Elayne’s closets! 😀 Did you catch the name for the area where the cabin was? Kinslayer‘s Dagger. Though I doubt that it was called that when Lanfear spent time up there with LTT. I recently read an interview with - - I believe it was the Director of this episode - - who gave props to Josha and Natasha are because they were doing that scene with a fade right on the edge of the cliff, but they never let it get to them and they just nailed it. (You would never been able to get me to do that. I’m not afraid of heights per se, but you’ll never get me to stand on the *unprotected* edge of a height.) When Rand said that she was the first woman to see him as a man, I took that to mean that in the Two Rivers he was still viewed as a boy. A good looking boy, but a boy, all the same, and I think that Egwene saw him the same way. They grew up together from young children, and I don’t think that either one of them had yet reached the mature adult stage, though Egwene probably had the edge there with the woman’s ceremony that she went through. (Of the three young male lead characters, I think that possibly only Perrin might have been seen as being an adult because he was married.) Rand he’s going to adore the fact that you can’t kill me Forsaken in usual ways; we all know how near and dear balefire is to his heart 😆.

Episode 4 is amazing, the best episode of the series so far, the editing and flow was just perfect! Ep3 is still my favorite so far in this season, but honestly 4 is pretty close. Yes, it was a little slow, but there were enough really good moments to keep it interesting.
Great reaction, glad Lanfear was finally revealed, was getting sick of this Selene charade, and so happy that Rand is not with her anymore, seeing them sleeping together was unbearable. The best moment for me was Perrin and Hoppper, i actually cried when Hopper showed Perrin his name, loving the way they're doing the visions. Ofcourse Liandrin is black, i can't believe some people doubted her. Loving Mat and Min being together, intrigued by their storyline. Can't wait for the next episode, it looks really good.
Definitely enjoyed the episode - dramatic ending for sure and think show liandrin far more interesting than book liandrin. Also loved the falme betrayal scene and of course seeing hopper :) . If i am totally honest i want less alanna and her warders and more of mat etc though.
I did wonder about that too...now I'm not so sure...🤔 I guess it depends on if the wonder girls return to the tower... lol...suppose I'll WAFO myself 🤭
I expected a book fan to be more critical... but if you like it, good for you. As someone who has not read the books I say this... her being evil was the most obvious thing that could have happened. New love interest for protag that comes out of nowhere? Obviously a bad guy, or she will die soon. Her being just an inn keeper would have been _less_ obvious.
Sweedy you should have read the books or the WOT companion. She's described as a manipulator(spoilers*) and she's really not just selene but lanfear search for her So I'm glad it's obvious but a die hard fan of WOT would say she was casted right she's beautiful and all like I had imagined ❤
Episode 3 still my favorite so far. But wt heck did Liandrin say "sorry about this"? Considering. I have a feeling Liandrins...um... other affiliations are based on promises about her son or some other desperate need. And that she hates it, but feels she has no other option. Perhaps she was forcibly converted and not willing?
So wait, is Liandrin proving to be BA? If she betrays Nyneave, and Egwene then why would Nyneave let her train her? Unless I’m mistaken the whole her trying to break Nyneave’s block hasn’t happened yet has it? I need to stop watching this at night after I purchase legal cannabis 😂😂😂
This season has been so much better. But I'm still pissed at what's going on with Moiraine and Lan. They really screwed that up. I'm betting that they've combined Liandrin with Elaida.
@@KritterXD well you have low standards then. The show is more busy to check modern woke boxes than make believable fantasy world and follow the source material. None of the characters we see act as the one from the books. The Lan pissing scene was the best so far, again really important to how the story develops. PPl are impressed by anything these days.
I guess think the author is dead, the screen writers felt no allegiance to the real book story. If you’ve read the book a few times, then this is poorly written script. I don’t care for it much….
The only way this series is any good is if you can erase the books from your mind completely otherwise there are too many things totally wrong. I have a huge problem with Rand doing absolutely nothing for months. He doesn't get trained in swordplay at all and are they cutting out Asmodean as his teacher in channeling?
@@Jamie-ff1zm It's a different turning of the wheel, they already stated this. You try to condense 15 wordy books into 8 seasons of television. Personally think some of the changes are better than the books. Liandrin being one character who's been improved upon.

I am so looking forward to what happens next with your best girl. I hope it is half as bad as in the books. I want it to be 1000% as bad to show the world we are inn. It will get the non readers in a riot. Hope it lasts longer than the books. That saying, 3 episodes. Dont think I can handle more❤️ love your content
Thank you! And yeah I’m both nervous and really excited to see how the rest of the season plays out with her!
Ep3 is still my favorite so far in this season, but honestly 4 is pretty close. Yes, it was a little slow, but there were enough really good moments to keep it interesting.
We got the sa'a!
I don't know how Rand makes it to Falme. It feels too late for sending Mat to Cairhein
Unless they have some way to travel straight there… 🤔
Great reaction, glad Lanfear was finally revealed, was getting sick of this Selene charade, and so happy that Rand is not with her anymore, seeing them sleeping together was unbearable.
So far this season is slightly better as an adaptation and a lot better as a general TV show.
I think they are merging Alviarin with Liandrin.
I did wonder about that too...now I'm not so sure...🤔
I guess it depends on if the wonder girls return to the tower...
lol...suppose I'll WAFO myself 🤭
I expected a book fan to be more critical... but if you like it, good for you.
As someone who has not read the books I say this... her being evil was the most obvious thing that could have happened. New love interest for protag that comes out of nowhere? Obviously a bad guy, or she will die soon. Her being just an inn keeper would have been _less_ obvious.
Sweedy you should have read the books or the WOT companion. She's described as a manipulator(spoilers*) and she's really not just selene but lanfear search for her
So I'm glad it's obvious but a die hard fan of WOT would say she was casted right she's beautiful and all like I had imagined ❤
Hopefully we get more rand ASAP
Episode 3 still my favorite so far. But wt heck did Liandrin say "sorry about this"? Considering. I have a feeling Liandrins...um... other affiliations are based on promises about her son or some other desperate need. And that she hates it, but feels she has no other option. Perhaps she was forcibly converted and not willing?
My favorite is has and will always be Matt (male) MIN (female)
Lots of "y/n gets angry whenever 'unworthy female' gets attention from the main guy they secretly had crushed on" vibes in the comments 🤣
Finley they give him someone to kill sometimes they just forget he us un the show
Matt's dicing...and losing...as usual...lol
So wait, is Liandrin proving to be BA? If she betrays Nyneave, and Egwene then why would Nyneave let her train her? Unless I’m mistaken the whole her trying to break Nyneave’s block hasn’t happened yet has it? I need to stop watching this at night after I purchase legal cannabis 😂😂😂
The forehead vein.
What a slow boring season. I love that Rand isn’t even going for the horn. As if he is capable of dealing with such a journey!
That CGI hair! 😡😂
I miss the pretty intro.
I miss it, too, but that intro was a full minute and a half!! I'm happy with Rafe's decision to use that time for the story.
This season has been so much better. But I'm still pissed at what's going on with Moiraine and Lan. They really screwed that up. I'm betting that they've combined Liandrin with Elaida.
So, you're the book fan that enjoys the show. I was wondering who that person is, now I know it is you.
I love how people who don't like the show pretend that it's impossible to like both.
You are welcome to like both. I don't like the show, but love the books.@@MasterRahl221
I like the show but think alot of what rj has written is garbage
You can't be die hard fan and enjoy this perversion. It is fiction not adaptation.
So weird that I am and I do.
@@KritterXD well you have low standards then. The show is more busy to check modern woke boxes than make believable fantasy world and follow the source material. None of the characters we see act as the one from the books. The Lan pissing scene was the best so far, again really important to how the story develops. PPl are impressed by anything these days.
@@dododimitrov9657 idk what the producer price index has to do with this but carry on, bro, and thanks for the engagement ✌️
Everyhting fine except Min Mat story so far dont do it for me and Lan/Warder Story... omg stopid pls. At last dont waste so much time with that.
I’m upset how Rafe has spat on RJ’s legacy 😡
The books aren’t going anywhere, and the show is bringing new people to the books. You’re being dramatic.
Disingenuous
I guess think the author is dead, the screen writers felt no allegiance to the real book story. If you’ve read the book a few times, then this is poorly written script. I don’t care for it much….
The only way this series is any good is if you can erase the books from your mind completely otherwise there are too many things totally wrong. I have a huge problem with Rand doing absolutely nothing for months. He doesn't get trained in swordplay at all and are they cutting out Asmodean as his teacher in channeling?
Book reader here, youre wrong
@@lordbetty4806 The story barely resembles the books
@@Jamie-ff1zm It's a different turning of the wheel, they already stated this.
You try to condense 15 wordy books into 8 seasons of television.
Personally think some of the changes are better than the books. Liandrin being one character who's been improved upon.
@@lordbetty4806 It has nothing to do with condensing the story. About the only thing it shares with the book is settings and names. Just because they say it is different doesn't make it ok. Call it something else because it is not The Wheel of Time from Robert Jordan
Serious Melisandre vibes from Lanfear there!
And we finally got to see Mat play dice! Dovie'andi se tovya sagain!
