  • This thing was in phat this year and in really nice wet conditions. First ice lead of the 2023-2024 season for me back in December. What a beautiful pitch of ice!

Brad, what boots are you climbing in? They look familiar, but I can't seem to place them. Nice climb, btw. Miss ice climbing. Sold my gear when I moved to AZ way back when, but now that I'm back in snow country I kinda wish I hadn't.

I wear the La Sportiva Nepal Cubes! They are a phenomenal boot. I really am looking at the new La Sportiva GTX Evo though. I really like the boa system and those boots look incredible.

U can blame the govt for the price of healthcare & education. When I graduated pharmacy school, Harvoni was like >$40k a bottle! Did a double take when dispensing it ....
These companies can charge whatever they want cuz medicaid/care will pay for it. Same with universities, they know ppl will take out student loans so tuition will keep going to the moon...I'm probably gonna take my student loans with me to the grave 😂😢

Haha, yeah, its such a tricky thing, right? Many of these medications can be found for much cheaper prices outside of the United States. It's easy to point fingers at who is "responsible", but in reality its such a complicated, multifactorial issue. However, the real problem is that these necessary medications are cost-prohibitive for most people, which incredibly sad and frustrating as a future healthcare professional. Regardless of who/what is at fault, it is an injustice that we aren't able to provide equitable healthcare.
I digress. Climbing has always been a nice way to separate myself from thinking of the negatives, so hopefully these videos do the same for you when I'm not actively talking about it in the video.
      🤣
