@P T are you the number one difference maker in my Home Theater. I spent three times as much on the audio as I did on the visual and projector. Glad you got a nice upgrade.
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
it does seem a bit skewed, yes. I full on laughed when he showed the "portability problem" with the xgimi including power supply + remote against the nebula = just pick it up?! Come on. Further, the external power supply on the horizon may offer some advantages. As many know, power supplies produce heat - sometimes a lot of heat. Having an internal power supply means the unit has to cool BOTH the standard electronics plus the power supply. This can make a notable difference in fan noise. He doesn't talk about that, unfortunately, which is a shame as fan noise from the projector is an important consideration.

why xgimi stopped updating H1,H2 and many other projectors! It's no respect for the customers - hope you now understand why nobody wants to buy xgimi projectors anymore
I wonder why the laser light looks dimmer then the LED source in your video. I have the Nebula, that thing is very bright and on jere it looks quite dull.
yeah I was wondering that too - in the side by side the xgimi looks much brighter, yet at the exact same time he's saying the nebula is far superior, for the win?! I do understand that filming the output can skew it but the posted result seems very hard to take seriously
Can you use a 3D Blu-ray Disk player (not 4k) with the Nebula and watch 3D movies with it? Does the media source have to be streamed media? Can you connect an external sound system to it, if so, what sort of connections must the sound system have? In other words, moving to 4k, does it require buying a complete new home entertainment system? (I wouldn't necessarily be using the portal function, rather mostly in a set location.)
That power brick is a dealbreaker for me! Nebula all the way! I have two nebulas one capsule three and one 4K. Since when does a “portable“ projector not have a handle?
Glad to see I was not the only one who couldn’t get the obstacle avoidance to work. Also the auto keystone was horrible in my theatre. Never worked right either. Xgimi also does not have HDMI 2.1 support. Which is a killer. Had I known that, I wouldn’t have bought it. Because I cannot use native 4K streaming on it from my Roku or any other streaming device. Due to copy protection built in to the Roku and other streaming sticks. The lack of no backlit remote for the Xgimi has no excuse in 2022/23. None. Period. My Viewsonic 1080P projector from over 10 years ago has a backlit remote. So for this to not have it, is ridiculous. I can’t recommend either one of these projectors, until some of these little issues are fixed. They are so close to a perfect entry level 4K projector. But not quite there.
You said at 0:12 that they were native 4k portable projectors. That's not true. Both of them are FHD projectors using pixelshifting for a 4k Resolution.
Actually Manshed is correct in calling them native 4K. As this pixel shifting technology is considered native 4K. For the projector to not be considered native 4K it would have to be upscaling, which neither of these two projectors do. I understand you may feel it isn’t native 4K. And I think there is some validity to that perspective. But under the definition as it currently stands with the manufactures of projectors, pixel shifting is considered native 4K. Rather than “True 4K”. Which uses an unbiased, true 4K resolution with no pixel shifting and no upscaling. 🤷♂️ I own the Xgimi 4K Pro.
@@DangerousDevilOfficial no it's not. To say they are native 4k is a lie. "The difference here is that native 4K projectors have roughly eight million distinct pixels on their panel to start off with, while pixel shifting tech starts with a lower number of pixels and creates the higher number by using the source image and processing it. Depending on the individual model, some projectors pixel shift twice, some do so four times - with the former having a more convincing 4K effect in areas of the image where their is finite detail such as small text." Both are native FHD projectors because they use the 0,47 DMD Chip which is a FHD Chip. The JVC in the Video is a native 4k projector because it's using a 4k chip. The only native 4k UST was the Sony VZ1000 for around 10.000$. Upscaling is a complete different thing and have nothing to do with it. "4K upscaling is the process where the player enhances the original input resolution. For the process to function the input quality must be Full HD (1920x1080). The player will upscale the original resolution from 1920x1080 to 3840x2160."
That’s great, two new projectors run a out of date android. So they are out of date before you get them out the box. You want a projector outside this rubbish built in because it goes out of date in no time and your force to upgrade it. Yeah this the world of green, nothing last 5mins now. I do electronics and I got to say when I see stuff on my workbench it’s made to not last now. All this stuff should be made to plug in what you need with no android rubbish on it. It makes me laugh, they use android 10 system on this. The same system on a cheap $30 tablet, what a joke.

How's the contrast on the Nebula vs Xgimi
Why is your XGIMI images so out of focus?
gettin paid by anker?
Must be. Clearly the Xgimi is brighter.

The Xgimi was out of focus for most of the comparison shots. No way it cannot be made to focus properly!

Can I use Apple iPhone and MacBook to do streaming?
What about frame rate, motion blurr, ghosting and clipping? Also can do gaming on them 60 or 120 fps?

Thanks for the review. I think it doesn't have a lens shift feature, right?

What portable projector stand is he using I would like that to hold them up ?
can I get tripod link for nebula, thanks
I'm trying to decide between the Nebula and the BenQ X3000i. Any opinions?
BenQ always best colors...this xgmi has bad colors to my eyes..
X3000i better color accuracy, brighter, lower latency for gaming. Nebula can be as much as $500 cheaper when on sale.
I’m publishing a BenQ projector video review very soon.
Can they wireless connect to a laptop for projection?
Sir can we connect soundbar through HDMI...???
yes you can
Why didn't you reply to the email?
Sir which one support HDMI ARC...???
both of them do.
Well done!
Thank you

Yea, some of those little things are frustrating. The Nebula feels the most thought out between the 2.
@@MANSHED based on what I have seen, I would have to agree at this point.
