Yeah, the original singer for the Max Rebo Band died in a fight between the two bands, back when they were known as: 'Evar Orbus and His Galactic Jizz-Wailers'.

Other people have commented below with even different names from both of our sources. Who knows 😉
"Mad About Mad About Me" is the name of the remix of the song played in the Cantina in the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge mini-parks in the Disney parks. "Mad About Me" is the original song, used here and in A New Hope.
To anyone as confused as me on why they are passed on as Cantina Song 1 and 2, the names of the songs are in-universe names, apparently, I think.
I knew the title of the first one from _Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina._ I didn't know the other one, though.
The actual names are Mad About Me and Dune Sea Special
Both of these songs are reflections of 1930's Jazz. Love the Carribean steel drums blended with the Jazz. A very unique sound.
Imagine a collab between Figrin D'An and the Modal Nodes and Max Reebo
Didn't they get into a shoot-out earlier? Pretty sure they're sworn rivals.
Not a chance! Max Rebo band were too sophomoric.
The Modal Nodes are far superior, just compare this with Jedi Rocks or Lapti Nek

Alien: Thank you, we’re the cantina band if any requests shout em out.
Play the same song
Alien: Alright same song here we go.
still haven't figured out what instrument is used as bass.....
I was googling to see if the cantina song had a name. It's incorrect here, it's "Mad About Mad About Me". Don't ask me, ask the Bith.

Why...is that guy....dressed like the devil....
Because satan rules, god is dead, and we killed him. Get over it.
@@guyyatsu Ha ha ha, the Bible does state that Satan will rule the world, but it's not forever, he is eventually defeated and cast into the pit.
Oh, him? Don't worry, he comes here whenever he's kicked out of Dante's Inferno Room over in Mos Espa.
While I get the joke, in-universe there is no stigma for Devaronians looking like that. That's just how Devaronian males look.
