Hi Emily, you have a lot of comments so I'm not sure if someone has already requested this... while drugstore brands are great to see this way, I'd like to see top 5/bottom 5 for some higher end brands. If you make a mistake with high end it's a *pricey* mistake and so things to avoid from brands like Mac, Too Faced, UD etc etc would be great 😊💕

I love L'Oreal as a brand. Their Double Extend mascara is holy Grail status. As long as I can remember I've been using their mascara. I don't try any other brand because I have my favorite. I didn't like Lash Paradise though, it didn't do what I expect from a mascara. I was bummed. I'm still looking for the matte liquid lipsticks. The paints, and the that another new line. Really need to try those. You're dead on about the lash primer. I love the primer with Double Extend. The stand alone one is not the same. I was bummed!

I don't know if you guys have tried it yet, but the Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick is AMAZING! It literally does not budge! Once it's set, IT'S SET. No transfer and it feels very comfortable on the lips! I just love it so much!

Emily I love your videos, and your warm personality! I have to say, the L'Oreal eyelash primer… That is the bomb for me! But true story, I have naturally curly hair, and I've never used an eyelash curler in my life… And I'm 52, and my guess is I probably never will. Maybe that has a lot to do with it. I don't use it every day, i use it more on glam evenings, or to church… Because when I use that my lashes are so long! Crazy how different products work differently for each of us! I have found a foundation that is the same thing, everyone's foundation experiences are so different.
Coming from someone with naturally curled lashes that doesn't even own a lash curler, I absolutely LOVE the voluminous lash primer. It separates my lashes and adds thickness which I desperately need, but I recommend letting it dry first! I put it on after I finish my eyes, do my entire face makeup, and then put my regular lash paradise over top as my last step. Haven't had a problem with flaking or my lashes being weighed down yet!
The voluminous lash primer works best for me when I only put it on the ends of my lashes and I only use a little bit. It gives a lot of extra length that way
I'm a Lash Paradise fan myself! I need volume and curl, and LP delivers that. I like the spoolie shape, and the formula does not clump much on me. It's almost a Holy Grail product for me. If it had the great clump-reducing ability of Cover Girl's Clump Crusher, then it would absolutely be my Holy Grail, no doubt about it. I also love the Mark Twain quote! Few writers combine common sense and wit like he did.
My biggest problem with higher end, aside from the fact I've never found them to out perform many drugstore mascaras, is the perfumes many tend to use. I find many to use nauseating perfumes so I tend to stick with other mascaras, usually drugstore, as a result!
I too, had to learn to love the Loreal Total Cover Foundation. What works for me is applying rosehip seed oil to my face first. I'm so happy with the results, because it does a lovely job of covering up the redness from my rosacea.

Finally the mascara hit the drugstores in Germany and i love it, no flakes ,smudges but you have to watch that it doesn't becomes to clumpy. Another product i love from them is the Super Liner gel eyeliner.
I wanted to love Lash Paradise but when I put it on and went outside in 90° weather, it was a runny mess down my face. I loved the brush on that one, too.

I love the Lash Paradise; I use the Voluminous Lash primer with it and it even makes my sparse, stubby blonde lashes look va-va-boom. I did have good luck with the concealer palette, but you're correct, makeup is such a personal thing that what works for one doesn't work for another. I used the green under my foundation and it did a good job cancelling out my red splotches. I used the peach under my eyes first, then my Pro Glow concealer and was pleased with it.
Definitely agree with the "yeah" to the True Match powder and a "nay" to the Colour Riche single shadows. I would add to the Top 5 the Silkissime eyeliner pencils.

This video has given me some ideas on additional products to try from a brand I have never been disappointed in! I personally love the Infallible Pro-Matte foundation, Brow Stylist Plumper (tinted brow gel), and Telescopic mascara in Carbon Black.
I just discovered the old school loreal true match foundation and even with my oily skin I love it! It looks super natural and skin-like and lasts if I use a good primer and setting spray.
Emily, I actually love using the lash primer for my bottom lashes, it's great for making the bottom lashes look even fuller when you put your favourite mascara over it. I absolutely hate it for the top lashes lol

Lancome is owned by Loreal. Lancome absolutely is a more expensive version of the mascaras found at the drugstore!

I used the green under my foundation and it did a good job cancelling out my red splotches. I used the peach under my eyes first, then my Pro Glow concealer and was pleased with it.

Definitely agree with the "yeah" to the True Match powder and a "nay" to the Colour Riche single shadows. I would add to the Top 5 the Silkissime eyeliner pencils.

This video has given me some ideas on additional products to try from a brand I have never been disappointed in! I personally love the Infallible Pro-Matte foundation, Brow Stylist Plumper (tinted brow gel), and Telescopic mascara in Carbon Black.

I just discovered the old school loreal true match foundation and even with my oily skin I love it! It looks super natural and skin-like and lasts if I use a good primer and setting spray.
Emily, I actually love using the lash primer for my bottom lashes, it's great for making the bottom lashes look even fuller when you put your favourite mascara over it. I absolutely hate it for the top lashes lol
