Yes it is certainly among the best moments. Along with the scene of her Fell pony Emma, standing vigil on the sidelines for the procession. It was so touching.
There were so many remarkable moments. A testament to the beautiful soul they were honouring.
I miss her presence, so strange to miss someone you've never met, but, there you have it.

Of this is to Honour their Grandmother TL HMTQ! When the Queen Mother Died - all the sons stayed in the Chapel all night, before the Funeral - a Vgil. & then here re the late HMTQ - there was a constant Vigil - the Queen's Children & Grandchildren & most Members of the RF (not those at the outer part of the RF - & variously Members of the Armed Fofces & from her Majesty's Guards also stiod Vigil - in the Week before the Funeral. TL HMTQ LayIn State - before the State Funeral; so the Nation (& the Entire 56 Country Commonwealth) could pay their Respects as many wished to do. (You coupd say this is a ritual but this is part of Our Tradition & just part of Our Culture - this is what happens when a beloved Monarch passes away (& TL HMTQ reogned long - this was v important to ppl.

This was done to perfection. My husband's grandparents were introduced to one another at a tea at Windsor palace by the Queen when she was a teenager. My grandfather-in-law served in the Queen Mother's guard for many years.💂 He was very fond of both the Queen and her mother.
Very special memory. I appreciate the share. I would be so proud to tell that story, too had it happened to me so know somebody out here understands & appreciates one telling a story like that. ❤

I cried when I saw James. He reminded me so much of Prince William walking behind his mother's casket at her funeral procession. Her Majesty's family loved her so deeply and so much and my heart hurts for the grief they feel but little James broke my heart.

I know this doesn't have so much to do with the Queen per se, but I just realised young James has now only one grandparent left. 😞 He lost both Grandfather and Grandmother in a bit more than a year at such a young age. So sad.

@@iociccio936 Why are you watching it then, if this is your opinion. For many it will be the first and maybe last time to see something like this in our lifetime. I for one find it fascinating that everything is so minutely organized, I believe it is HMTQ 's wishes as well. I am also a firm believer that traditions and protocol help us in our grieve for a loved one. There is something comforting in it. You only have to look at the queue of people who pay their respects to a much loved Queen, people who waited hours and hours to do just that.
Notice the order that the grandchildren walk in. William and Harry up front is pretty self explanatory; Beatrice and Eugenie behind them since Andrew is the second son, Louise and James behind them because Edward is the third son, and Zara and Peter make up the end of the line because at the time, their mother Anne ranked behind her three brothers.

I just can't imagine how difficult this was for the Queen's grandchildren to do.

I am American but spent some time studying her reign. She became queen at an early age and during turbulent times. She led and encouraged her nation and responded thoughtfully through changing times. She is missed.

I’m an a 58 year old American woman and my opinion of the Queen has changed throughout the years. I judged her and her family during their more trying times. However, the older I’ve gotten the more I’ve appreciated her devotion and steadfastness.
We always want our grannies to be here; I can relate to their deep sense of loss.

This was very moving to me. I was raised as a young Canadian to respect the Union Jack and the Royal Family. All of the Wueens speeches were played in our home with all of us listening. We waited Christmas morning for Her greetings to all the world, including our family. She was loved as her father and mother before her. In our living room a small place on the wall was a collage of Royal Photos of the Royal family, and the Union Jack. We loved the Royal Family and I pray this upset will be resolved and that Megan will come to understand how important this family is to the World. Learn how important and beloved Queen Elizabeth was to the world and to peace keeping measures were important to Her and the entire Royal Family. Thank God we had Queen Elizabeth rein over us for many years. Thank you Queen Elizabeth 11nd. Thank You to the Rest of the Family and let them not forget how our Queen Elizabeth set an example of goodness and kindness for the world to see and let this family remember now and teach Harry and Megan as well as the rest of this important family to follow in the Queens foot steps of love.
Poor Grandchildren. I've lost both sets of grandparents, so that part, I can relate to. I just cannot imagine having to go through those losses so publicly.

It was really unusual yet really touching that the grandchildren took part in this vigil for their "granny". And, following the Princess Royal's fine example, the girls who took part were truly amazing, and everyone in the glare of the public.

Watching the faces of these grandchildren is heartbreaking.
I am not surprised that they all held it together. When my grandparents died 10 days apart people thought I was cold and heartless. My grandparents raised me, I was taught that when it was their time I would have to be strong. I was 23 and I did cry but not at the funerals, very few saw my tears. I was to busy doing what I was taught to do.
Twenty years later I was in line at a cousin’s funeral departing the church. A man came scooting through the pews, when he reached me he said, I know your face, you’re a Daniels. He was the funeral director and told me he never forgot me, that he could not believe someone so young was so organized and put together. That in all his years as a director he had never met anyone so together. He said most just don’t get through it all without breaking down.
Being this family has been raised to keep their emotions in check they present themselves exactly as they were taught.
Watching them i been tears in down on my face 😢. Huge respect for them and loved for their grannie. The Queen must be so proud for his 8 grandchildren ❤

This is our ‘Mother Country’. And I have always felt a close alignment… genetically and Nationally. Much like our grandparent has passed.

They weren't perfectly in sync. High school bands are more in sync than they were. Doesn't take away from the very poignant moment of respect shown by the grandchildren to their grandmother.

This is a great loss for all of them. If anything was a constant, it was HM. She seen the monarchy through so so so much. We all knew this day would come but we never wanted this day to actually be here. I’m glad that differences can be pushed aside for someone that stayed so neutral.
Let this be a lesson… no matter what causes a drift in family, don’t let it take a funeral to remind you where you came from. May god give them comfort in this devastating loss. ❤her royal majesty’s honor will always live on.

This one act of respect, love, and honor performed by her grandchildren was so deeply moving that it brought tears to many of our eyes. This will be remembered and was so endearing of them and their devotion to her.
