I was listening a podcast with Christian. He said they did 3 demos still with Dino in the band and then they would be on Archetype.
The podcast is from that guy of godforbid Doc Coyle, very good to know part of the story from Christians side.
On the Archetype demos, there's a few other lyrics that seem aimed at someone, though the lyrics were ultimately changed for the album release.
RIP fear factory.

Yeah. It's Burton's, Raymond's and Cristian's. NOT Cazares'. The song though was written about Cazares kicked out of the band.
Archetype is the Best album but I’m not core FF fan ;-)
@@tomasmracek7010 I am, but it's still my fav. I'm biased though because I discovered it when I was an angsty 15/16 year old and it fit right in with my life at the time lol. Slave Labor and Act of God both still give me goosebumps like they did 18 years ago.
It's my #2 behind Demanufacture for sure.

Would have never expected them to play anything from Archetype
They've been playing Archetype since 2013, was Dino's idea. They played Cyberwaste back then too.

This guy is a great replacement for Bell, he's riding the line between being so close that the songs sound awesome but just different enough that you know it's him and not someone trying to a Burton clone. I like him alot.

@@virgo4200 totally, kinda depended on the day it seemed. Saw FF a bunch of times, some shows Burton was great others were pretty bad
For now he's really great, but we gotta see how he'll write new material.

He’s fucking with his ear monitors a lot during the song. This is an incredible performance for a guy who probably can’t hear himself very well.

Fear Factory was done after Archetype. What's worse Burton's vocals cracking or this dude singing with his broken English? Both as that band should have came to an end. Cause I am sick of seeing bands with one original member just hang it up Dino.

Milo is the perfect man for the job, it sounded killer live.
Props to Dino for playing a song designed entirely to rip him apart when he was out of the band.
Wow! I didn't know that but now it makes sense, especially with "the infection has been removed" line.
And I think they started playing this song again when Dino returned to band. Or an album later.

Honestly Cazares tried to destroy Fear Factory back in the early 00's, and dig their grave in the late 10's. He should consider a new career as grave digger parallel to his career as cover band
@@user-se1zu7hl5z Let's be real, Dino's songwriting was always the main component of Fear Factory, backed by Burtons vocals. They had precisely one good album without him, which is archetype. Transgression is awful. Clearly fans like this track, so it'd be silly not to play it live for the fans.

Goddayum, Milo absolutely killed this song. Nailed those really tough high notes, and everything One of my personal favs from the band. Archetype, the album in general is *_super_* underrated 🤘🏻.
Pretty cool that Dino is open to playing the songs from when he left FF. Archetype album is a banger. Milo is doing well ... Raymond might be the guy I actually miss more.

"The virus of this machine has been removed. The soul of this machine has improved." Remember the Archetype album was released right after Dino left.

When FF played this with Dino back in the band, Burton changed the lyrics to "The infections have been removed" a slight toward Christian and Raymond
Now he can reverse-engineer the song against Burton :D

Milo is incredible of course and all the guys look super happy and stoked to be playing together, I was a bit skeptical at first but man this solidified it.

Thank you for the upload. As someone who doesn't use the Zuck Soul Extractor, this is my first time hearing Milo's performance. Yeah, I totally get it why Dino chose him, he is excellent. If he sounds this great live, I can't wait to hear him on the next album.

@marcin2x4 Archetype or anything from that album or Transgression is not on Spotify in America. Dino has said many times before.thsy since he does not own the rights to those albums, he can't do anything about those. The old label (Calvin, who dissolved after those records) won't release them, so unless you find them on UA-cam, good luck.

I was fortunate enough to see Fear Factory twice in 2004 at House of Blues (West Hollywood) second time with Lamb of God. Including 1996, 1997 and the 2016 Demanufacture Tour Obviously Christian was the guitarist at the time. Anyway Milo is an excellent singer. I'll always loved Fear Factory and all the memories they have given me. No it's not the same FEAR FACTORY I grew up with since 1995 nor what I truly wanted but that's life. Change is the only constant in this existence. I wish them the best regardless. Btw excellent performance.
