hack opp😊

did you guys try to copy levy's thumbnail style?
you know you're a pro when you have played more brilliant moves than you have missed wins xD
@@Chris-bz9pg I feel like I'm missing a joke
@@Chris-bz9pg thats in bullet. In blitz like 5 sec earlier it is different
That really is an incredible stat to have.
now Im surprised that he has 2980 missed-win moves
@@comebackfailed6350 That´s becuase it counts when there is like mate in 30
I'm ashamed that sometimes I forget how good Hikaru is. He's one of the few people I can actually watch playing speed chess without being bored out, due to the beauty of his play. He deserves respect.
Agreed! Watching him play blitz and bullet is so satisfying
takes, takes, takes, takes.
It's too bad it doesn't translate over to classical.
@@stephenwalk2186 Hey he might not be the best but his classical rating is still top 20 in the world. I don't believe he'd stray away from that level too much when he starts playing again
Okay, Hikaru. You didn't have you to use a sock account to post this
These moves are the perfect example of why chess is also art. Beautiful.
Happy birthday, Hikaru!
Hikaru is one of the reasons why I got interested in Chess in the first place, he’s in a league of his own
😂
No way, didn't expect the legend himself likes chess
God dayum. Its you again. You are every where 👨
So how long have you played chess
Grow a moustache and then maybe we can talk.
He plays the best move 43% of the time, and usually in blitz and bullet. Dude's a machine.
Magnus, Hikaru and Vishy are gifted legends in chess.....my inspiration
what gift
@@dhruvyadav7715 🎂
I do not like it when people take away other's people hard work by telling that those people are 'gifted'. They are legends, for sure, but gifted, who knows?
@@TheAdarshMehta Well, he was a very talented player when he was young; and he was the youngest US Champion too.
@@TheAdarshMehta ‘gifted’ can mean simply talented imo, of course they aren’t trying to downplay their successes
These moves are not as hard to find if you know that there is something, but imagine finding something like this in a blitz game... Hikaru is an incredible player
Exactly
Cool video idea. Hikaru plays a lot of brilliant blitz games that are worth deep analysis. The most inspiring ideas are found in the casual blitz matches between Hikaru and Naroditsky. Danya will drop a mental sac that seems to work... but then Hikaru finds the stockfish sequence that maintains the advantage.
Dude's got more brilliant moves in blitzz than missed wins, unbelievable
1:40 Wow I actually saw this one pretty quickly. But in game when I’m not in puzzle mode, I’m not sure if I would.
I did not even know which color I was supposed to think for.
@@ppmpyae1152 LMFAO
I saw number 2 in about 1 second but I was mentally prepared for there to be a beautiful move, if it was during a game maybe I wouldn't have got it...Naka must be just mentally prepared for beautiful moves 24/7 in his chess
Yeah same
I have one guys. I just got my first brilliant move ever and was so happy.
3000 more to go beat hikaru now
@@XD_Ryan Lmao
His most recent brilliant move: accusing Hans of cheating.
The 3rd example is reminiscent of carlsen's game against karjakin in the final round of the world championship
Hikaru has actually done this before in 2003
Great content here! I would love to see more analyses on "brilliant" moves, esp. in world championship and other classical games.
When you find all of these moves surprisingly quickly, but then realize you only found them becase you knew something crazy is in the position...
Although bh3 may be findable during rapid
_When a man has over half a million best moves and over five thousand brilliant moves in blitz and bullet alone, you know you are not facing your average sigma male anymore..._
Enjoyed watching some of these, although one small thing that would improve the vid: stating which color Hikaru is playing (or which color is next to move), prior to showing his move--that way, it would let lower rating chess viewers (like myself) pause the video and examine the position to see if they could find the right moves.
I played my first great move yesterday, and in the game I had 96% accuracy :D
And yum braine its on eggs
Decent.
that was 5 years ago 🤦♂️
Love the videos! Just a thought, include the yellow "moved-from" squares. Please. Thank you.
Nice! This new feature will be a lot of fun to look at my games, as well as peep into Hikaru's games.
At 3:40 the best move is Qc8, over -1 score. Qc4 is 0.00 after Rd8 and Rh8
Awesome explanations, Sam!
Me calculating for 2 minutes : If Bishop takes knight, pawn takes pawn, ruk takes knight, queen takes pawn.........
Meanwhile Hikaru in 5 seconds : "TAKES TAKES TAKES TAKES TAKES TAKES TAKES TAKES AND CHECKMATE".
obviously the best player since Capa with the quickest sight of the board.
Bring more these stuffs . It will help all level players to improve . I enjoyed it so much thanks 👍
Hikaru is just a genius!
With this video I finally defined art as a combination of various actions and sequences to produce a unique outcome that can be replicated with precision
Awesome highlights. And great commentary. One suggestion for us noobs… add a color to the last piece moved for easy move tracking.
I would love to see you covering more of hikaru's brilliant moves. This video was truly brilliant!
Really great moves there!! Bravo
even including openings, 18% of his moves (almost 1 in 5) in blitz were inaccuracies or worse. shows just how complicated chess really is even at super-GM level
he loves his wonky openings and bongclouds tho. im sure he could get higher if he wanted to
I'm sure the bongcloud opening doesn't help this
it's a blitz game tho... and from what i noticed he usually plays the shortest - 3min version... i think it's really low and insanely impressive. keep in mind that his opponents are insane too so it's A LOT harder to do correct moves than we (or I) when we play our games. i, for example, would probably have like 20% CORRECT moves vs them, *especially* in a 3 min game.
i think a lot of it is about recognising patterns and experience (vs other good players and tournaments) so i wonder if an (relatively) old guy like me could have a chance to achieve something, considering i started *WAY* older than 8-12yo (*) i refuse to believe good players think like me, when playing chess, and they study each move one by one. they can see a series of 5 moves in like 2seconds... *literally
Happy Birthday Hikaru!
In case you wonder about these moves being brilliant or not. He said at the beginning of the video, "new brilliant move algorithm". Indeed It used to be a extremely rare to get it before the update. Now is just a human like in depth. Basically now those brilliant moves are high level puzzle game. That even you and me as intermediate players can figure it out too, with some time given ofc.
I was able to do 4 of these 5 puzzle. And I'm not remotely close to Hikaru's level. The difference between him and me is astronomical.
it's much easier to find the brilliant move, when you know that there is one. try to find it in actual game with low time.
@@blackpuppy3940 Ye, just knowing there is a brilliant move makes you start to look at all the potential sacrifices first, and you are assured there is some winning line without truly needing to calculate through. In an actual game you would need to be sure there is still an advantage after a sac before committing to it
Hikaru is just too good.
4th and 5th were fairly easy to see
Move #1
So far away🤯
This guy is so good, he literally doesn’t care. He doesn’t even care! What a guy!
Opening the video with The Bishop Pair from Hell, I see
Great Vid. Liked & Subscribed.
Very helpful ideas.
I love the fact that they put in the description: Chess, created in 2020
he's like the magnus carlsen of chess streaming
Me: "I can do that"
Proceeds to blunder 3 moves in a row
I saw the first two brilliant move sequences WOW!!!
Because you knew it was there and there was something to look for.
Great
Hikaru is a genius in unexpected positions
He uses alternate accounts for the speed runs too, this guys insane
Hikaru doesn’t mind getting mated because he literally doesn’t care. Like literally doesn’t care.
I'm surprised he hasn't copyright striked this video yet
Happy Birthday Hikaru!!
youtube subtitles be acting up with the rc and six seige (i dont have sounds rn)
When the mind game turn into an art...
"counterbrilliancy" is such an awesome word
On move #3, f2->e2. a6->a8 is an interesting line as well, but ultimately one that is only stalling.
"Take take take take take take check mate" - Hikaru
Proud to say I saw the moves in the first three games fairly quickly, but the last 2 games were just something else entirely!! I'm happy to have at least seen some of their main ideas, just not exactly how to piece them together. Hikaru is quite the brilliant chess player, thanks for the breakdown Copeland!
Tal would be proud!
Can make video like this for ian? So we can be reminded back of how a great player actually he is, regardless of his performance in wcc.
NAKA, Maggy, and Dubov are my fave Chess Genius boys.
He's a brilliant guy
4:50 brilliancy vs counter brilliancy
Stockfish: :O
Hikaru's best finishing move in chess is when he put Eric Hansen in that headlock
Hikaru embarrassed Hans in front of a million eyes, so now Hans is trying to take a million Benjamins from his bank account 🤣
he generate more brillian moves than me winning the game
extremely proud of myself for calculating first one from start to finish
Thats awesome
But we won’t do that in our games 😂😂😂
just gorgeous
People forget Nakamura is a GM and has competed with the greats of today just because he makes it fun and streams on twitch as well.
wow in first postion i thought about 3-4 lines and Q c2 made most sense to me, didn't even consider queen h7
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HIKARU!!!
The best moves is in a game's Hikaru vs Niemann! Hans's chess engines did not help
One of the best chess players ever.
all that and he cant get a joke xD. he is brilliant.
Happy birthday Hikaru
Happy birthday naka
I'm an 800s player and some asshole beat me with a brilliant move and I've never felt so hard done. Why is an 800 player finding a brilliant move?
Luck😂
Question: will the engine only say it’s a brilliant move if you capitalize on it? Bc there are moves on this list that are just blunders if you don’t continue correctly
That's not true. The only move that the engine doesn't recommend is the second one, and that leads to a draw at worst.
games like these are why i love to see hikaru in tournaments, but sucks he doesn't really want to do them
Hikaru sacrificing a juicer for mate
similar game with Nxe4. Hikaru was playing agianst Wesley So .............................................. 6 brilliant moves
Happy birthday Hikaru nakamura
It seems that there are more faster checkmate processes in first case.
That hans game much have been before the beads
#1 was so clear neat af
i think the subtitles had a stroke looking at all the brilliant moves
GOAT online player
I can easily predict brilliant move as queen sacrifice is only a brilliant move
😂😂😂
The GOAT
Hikaru played more brilliant moves than blunders.
Me with 10 % of my moves being blunders.😂😂
it was like watching Tal's moves
the real pro 😂
Yeah let's see him vs Karlsen
Would have been better to include which side to move so we could try to find the move as well.
Hikaru is a legend
I can’t wait till I make a brilliant move!!!!
Hikaru 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I actually managed to get the second one, even though I'm 400 rated and have never done a brilliant move in my own games 😅
I’m surprised I was actually considering move 5 and it turned out to be right
anyone know how to check overall moves stats like in the video? i want to see if i ever played a brilliant move
Only Diamond members can do that
Hikaru, the best, nothing else to say, un fratello de, Impossibile non amarlo
