In my dialect, the saying ‘Criss, cross, apple sauce,’ doesn’t rhyme. In Australian English, sauce rhymes with horse, but doesn’t rhyme at all with cross.

"yknow they're going to underground gm norms where they all get naked and oiled up" got me dying XD btw if your wondering where he says that its at 3:47
At first it looks like he just got lucky, but all the moves would somehow lead to victory, which would be impossible to achieve by chance. Especially if they are 2400+ ranks. They just don't move at random hoping they'll get lucky.
i love the new board lightening visual for when you've deviated from the moves played in the actual game! i've long wished there were an indicator of that in your videos and now it is here so hapi :D
when you suggested the vienna at 2:29, I think black can equalize very quickly if black responds with bishop to c5, taking advantage of the fact that 2. Nc3 is not very forceful.
It is always easier to find when you know the outcome. You know there is a brilliant move leading to mate, so you know it probably some insane sacrifice. But if you try to play like that, most of the time you would just give up your pieces for nothing.
I found the knight sacrifice before Levy mentioned because you can feel the crumbling of the castle which dilapidated for attacking chances. Sacrifices are truly one of the greatest tactics in chess ♟
Gotham has been instrumental in keeping me interested in chess. Queens Gambit got my attention and Levy kept it. I started playing 3 years ago with an elo of 750. Today I crossed the 1100 mark in bullet
Not me guessing 3 of the brilliants just for levy to say because you’re still sacrificing the knight and me just not realising it was hanging 3 times in a row

-600 ELO Games.
-99999999999999999 ELO Games.

600 seems high.
more like 200 elo games.
And then it's inevitably changed 2-3 times.

They say if you sacrifice your rook at 3am and listen very closely, you can hear Levy scream "THE ROOOOOK!!!" in the distance
I heard if you stand in front of a mirror at midnight and say "rook b1" three times, he comes to take your ELO and call you a bozo.
That's a good one😂

It never works for me. I think it needs to be a brilliant sacrifice, because I hang my rook all the time and I never hear Levy scream.
