Believe me it wasn't always easy for me, I spent a lot of time pep talking myself into it when I was just starting. I think what helped me was letting go of the need for it to be perfect and focusing on the little wins, like kicking up to the wall and almost reaching the wall, then eventually getting to the wall and feeling like I'd crossed a big milestone. That's what kept me going and I hope it can for you too.
@@CharlieFollowsI am able to kick to the wall ,super not gracefully😅. Is there a way of practising free kick stand up against the wall without collapsing into it? I rely on the way so heavily
@@JimChangg Hey, something that helped me was practicing kicking up close enough to the wall so that if I over kicked the wall would save me but it still allowed me enough space to practice kicking up and trying to rely on myself to hold me in the shape instead of the wall. I hope this makes sense, let me know if it doesn't and I will elaborate.
@@CharlieFollowsI can kick up to a wall but am too terrified to let go of the wall...and I fall hysterically if I try to kick up without the wall, if I'm away from the wall my body makes an inverted L shape😂 please make an elaborate video of different stages of a handstand for beginners. I'm in the process since two months with little improvement and I really rely on your advices when it comes to yoga❤

@CharlieFollows tremendously. I tried to kick up at my wall and decided against it. I'm afraid I'm too inexperienced and I will put a hole in the wall. 😄 I love your videos so much.
Charlie says, "Be amazing " in such a practical way that actually places it in grasp. This is more than a gift. 👏👏👏
Honestly, it is as simple as this. This really helped me land my first handstand today (4 Jan, 2024)
🌅Thank Y🪷u for sharing🙏
You are welcome I hope these videos help
Thank you thank you. You make it look easier than it is 😢. Fear stops me a lot and still learning core / hip over torso placement

Me watching this video once and thinking that's all I need to do the standing splits that Charlie has perfected over years 😢😢😢😢😢😢
I do handstands my whole life like I said a couple of days ago. But I have more success with staying up in the air with my legs like open scissors
❤❤
Getting the hips over the shoulders is the hard part.
Indeed ! 😮
Be you tee full💞
