i'm pretty sure there's a guide on custom tiles, walls, ores and (furniture - example mod), custom boss ai is hard as hell and requires lots of days to make everything work

I got a question, but it's like a lot... how would one make a skill that isn't an item but is still in the game like in dragon ball terraria there's the charge thing that's just given to the character as a starter skill also how would one make a transformation skill work as in getting an item then the item is the skill and there a key bind you can use to activate the skill
Can you make a video on how to use GlobalTile? I want to make hellstone only mineable after Skeletron is defeated, but I haven't been able to find any tutorials on anything relating to GlobalTile. (Edit) Also, can you discuss how to assign a research requirement to an item? Currently, all my custom items can't be researched.
for research, just put this line of code when creating static defaults, the number is the amount of items you need to research before duplication CreativeItemSacrificesCatalog.Instance.SacrificeCountNeededByItemId[Type] = 1; for global tile, i have no clue whatsoever

Hey, what's the amount of spaces in pixels you need in-between each helmet and boot when you're making the sprite sheet?
add a second layer then put the bottom of your helmet where his is then delete the layer that his helmet is on repeat about 20 times and there you go

its called asesprite, it's paid, but an even better one in my opinion is piskel which is free.
