I've been a "System" fan since I was in High School, I just BARELY got to see them live and they were amazing!! Be sure to check out some more of their songs like, Toxicity, Spiders, Sugar, Aerials, B.Y.O.B., and Lonely Day. If you like these big hits, you'll most likely appreciate all their music. 🤟 Great reaction.
@@bradlucy Nice! Please consider doing more SOAD, it can’t go wrong! After some more known songs like Toxicity, BYOB and Aerials there are some really nice ones like Holy Mountains, Question!, etc.
Their albums are great front to back. And there lyrics are very deep. This song is about how we treat death based on different circumstances. For instance if someone commits suicide we assume a lot about them and why they would have died and possibly feel less sympathetic about them. All of their songs are great, one of the best of all time. And their music is as relevant today as it was 20 years ago which is how you know they are singing about something real and at the roots of problems within our society. Aerials, Toxicity, Sugar, Prison Song are all great videos to react to. Rage Against the Machine is the next logical step for same era, also unique, also blends more rap/hip MC lyrics with rock/metal/funk music. And possibly the most intelligent lyrics of any band. Wake Up, Bulls on Parade, Testify, Down Rodeo, everyone of their songs is a lesson.
To put it into perspective the album Toxicity which this is from was number 1 on the US billboard album charts when 9/11 happened, Slipknot’s Iowa was released a week before and also went Platinum. How mainstream music has changed….
Check out Cemetery Gates by Pantera. Pantera was as metal as metal gets!! But this song might surprise you how awesome hardcore metal can be. Pantera was founded by Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott and his brother Vinnie Paul Abbott. They were HUGE in the 90s. HUGE! The band broke up in 2001. In 2003 the Abbott brothers started a new band called Damageplan. On December 8th 2004, while playing a small club gig in Ohio, some deranged individual got on stage and shot and killed Dimebag. The gunman also shot 3 people in the audience who tried to help Dime. The shooter was shot in the head with a shotgun by the first officer who arrived at the club. The Metal community was shaken to its core. Watch the VH1 Behind The Music on Pantera. In fact you could react to it. The story behind some metal bands are truly amazing. Metallica is another good one.
Oh, shit. I found this late, but I appreciate you doing a reaction to them. And let’s be honest, your reaction to this was much better than MY parents’. 😂😂😂
System of a Down are not a one hit wonder hahaha! Each song better than the other, with fans that cross genres. They're a multi-genre band, which gave them a huge fanbase that listen to different genres. Be careful not to miss their lyrics (they are great writers with fairly complex lyrics), the message, this band has Something to Say in every song! I suggest Toxicity, Aerials, BYOB, ATWA ,Prison song, Lost in Hollywood, Psycho! Sometimes you think they're just having fun with their music, but it's mostly pretty serious! It would be interesting if you guys read what this song was about, and understand how beautiful the writing was and understand the song meaning, its pretty intersting!
All four band members are of Armenian descent and have quite a unique sound with hints of Eastern music in there.

"I thought they'd be weird..."
Oh they can get very weird....
Nice reaction! I think the next song to react from SOAD is Toxicity, really nice mix of energetic metal parts and melodic parts
The video just got blocked. It usually opens up again after 3-5 days ☹
@@bradlucy damn, that’s a shame. Maybe try to cover up most of the video so that UA-cam doesn’t detect it? Idk.
@@marcelobulhoes6180 It finally released 😁
