It's proven difficult to get the real sound across, but it really does sound a lot deeper and mature than the stock exhaust. It seems I have failed at my attempt to be the one to capture an accurate comparison. After using this exhaust for something over a year I can tell you it's one of the best upgrades I made to this bike, besides the audial fun factor it's a lot better to look at and the blue/purple discoloration of the titanium is awesome. To each their own of course, hopefully my video still helps to get a slight impression of what the upgrade would do to your bike.
If there is hp improvement it's in the low to mid range. A free flow air filter in the box and a secondary inlet to the box would give the motor quicker spin up and better again low mid range. Top end is negligible. The real gain is looks, sound and a 12kg weght loss. The link pipe and slip on range from £159. -£189 from what I've seen. No idea where you've got £800-£1k from😂
@@darknessawaits Thank you. it would be interesting to hear it without db killer. have you tried it? Are there any performance improvements? definitely less weight. I would like to buy it but the price is not really cheap
@@tony8236 It's stated as a 2 hp improvement, but I'd say it's neglectable. It's certainly less heavy, but would you really notice when mounted on such a heavy bike? Probably not. I've mounted it for sound and looks - and yes, it is expensive. Even when bought second hand. But if you want it, go for it!
@@darknessawaits I managed to find it at half price in good condition. I also listened to the sound without the db killer and I must say that it's not bad. need to see if there are problems to go this way for the law. the alternative at the same price was gpr arrow
I think they claim to increase power with something of 4 HP. I did take it to get a tune up quite some time after but the data I got from that was always with this exhaust on. So no comparison unfortunately.
I listened with headphones .thedifference in sounding minimal itskinda dusappointing...not worth 1K. That being said , I have too much cash in my pocket and think I'll order one today...Remus or Arak??? Decisions decisions

Thank you for your comment; it's making big change on my mind because I am in your shoes now.
I like the sound but I always think of the time I passed a speed trap in heavy traffic, if they didn't see me they would've heard me
You can never capture the true sound in video, but you can definitely tell the difference if you've ever recorded two different exhausts before
The stock exhaust is a piece of Art itself.
Not much difference. Not worth spending that 800-1k on it.
Nice video
I prefer the stock, I had the choice but after hearing the Akrapovic I was shocked how bad it sounded for £950
agreed, stock sound was better.
i like booth
Besides the sound, the muffler adds a few extra ponies to the bike!
Nice bike i was wondering if the change in exhaust brought any change to to bike?
Shut up

Do agree
Does it give it any power?
Hi. The test Is with db killer?
Yes, I thought that would be the most relevant comparison.

Is there any benefits in torque (lower RPM) and horspower?

@@darknessawaits Thanks for info.
minimal you won't feel it
Мне на моём стоковый нравится. Красиво работает и смотрится круто.
Akrapovic sound better and looks better

The only place to listen to a Beemer from is behind. The engine noise is what you’re recording 😢
such a small difference doesn't worth the cost
Totally not worth to pay to get different sound...
Agree with you, don t see any difference !
I agree too.
Don’t see much difference
