Hi guys! i know that it's not an "hot lap" but what you saw in the video it was my very first lap ever on the Ring! So the body position, the trajectories, etc... wasn't too good. I was focused on study the circuit, the traffic, and so on. Plus, that day i did 4 continuous laps but from the 2nd the marshall at the gate he made me take the camera apart, so the 4th for obvious reasons it was definitely better than this... yes sir, i saw your video ;) That day i did 4 continuous laps, but from the 2nd the marshall stopped me at the gate for taking off the Go-Pro (i don't know why), anyway what an amazing experience, also because i was the only "non-track" bike on that day. Other bikers were surprised how good the RT was on the Ring (did some overtakes 🤣)
Got the previous generation rt1200.... Sometimes I feel like king on the road, but sometimes in the Swiss Alps a Multistrada V4 simply obliterates me 😅
You should try, driving on the Nordschleife it’s an amazing experience. Anyway the color is called Callisto Grey Matt, is a like military green and the exhaust is original. Maybe the mic of the GoPro is not faithful…😃
1200RT is not about race, it's about long road trip. When you after 8 hours trip park your bike, and don't feel yourself totally tried (destroyed). But if you need more speed 1200RT made it easily
yes, i agree with you. Anyway the RT is underrated about the performance on the road. This weekend i had a 3 days trip (going fast, and sometimes very fast..😈) on the italian Alps with some friends with S1000XR, GS 1250, GS 1300, Ducati Multistrada V2 and if you can ride it well, no one can pass you. For me is one of the best bike produced by BMW.
@filippo8918 il compromesso migliore costo/prestazioni/versatilità è il 1250 prodotto dal 2019 al 2021, quindi versione senza TFT per intenderci. consumi sono contenuti e per la manutenzione è una BMW...quindi hai già capito. Ma se fai i tagliandi nel periodo invernale fanno dei bei sconti.
@@filippo8918 si certo, il 1250 è un perfezionamento generico della moto, ma le prestazioni del motore sono evidenti specialmente sotto l'aspetto della coppia (grazie allo Shift-Cam). la differenza si sente parecchio. Per 2-3000€ in più ci penserei seriamente. Tuttavia il 1200 LC è comunque ottimo....
Here on the Lower Rhine, the police drive civilian RTs. So don't be surprised if the racers in front of you suddenly slow down and drive in a civilised manner. . .

201 kmph on an RT, now that takes skill and balls esp on a damp track!!!! Love it!! 🤣🤣

Looks like we both enjoyed riding an RT round there. My lap was on a twin cam 2012 bike, but around 2013.

@@RangeTDV6 They are just as capable as the GS, if not more on some roads. I ride a GS where i live in the hills and not many people stay with it :)

it was a gift by my local BMW dealer. It's for the italian "Telepass", a device for pay our motorway.
On a side note... A 'vertical' (portrait position) GPS works better for me on a motorbike

I sometimes have the urge to do that on my old, tough, K75; i resist the urge, I'd rather enjoy the scenery..
No problem, one lap to enjoy the scenery and another lap to push hard on the track 😂
