I live in Dallas Texas and started a cleaning company with my Mom 7 months ago, I just recently quit my 9-5 and dedicated myself to the business full time. Its a slow start and we're still a work in progress, but little by little we are seeing more & more growth in the business, it takes hard work & alot of time but I'm starting to see the results!

Hey man, great question. Not a ton of overhead actually. Of course we have taxes, I use my home office, so just internet and phone bill like $200. Then we have website & marketing ( that number varies ) then we have QuickBooks for $60 per month, along with home base which is our time tracking/clock in app that costs $24 per month. Then we have supplies which varies also about $200 - $500 depending on how much cleaning you’re doing. And last but not least, we have general liability insurance. You’ll need a $1M policy. You can find these for $50 to $150 per month depending on state. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

I have been in the high end restaurant industry for 22 years, going to concertrate on high end corporate run enterprises. Did the math, I am good for a year with expenses, personal expenses and 4 employees. I think I am on to something.

I’d say, take a trip out here and explore the areas that peak your interest. That’s what we did. We have city life, beaches, St. Augustine down the road. We just got back from Disney yesterday (2 hour drive) plus there’s a thriving NFL team and so much potential for growth here. Which is coming. And as far as the cleaning business, it’s ABUNDANT! My husband is an engineer who works for a company out of Jacksonville and I want them to hire your company for there business. Also have a friend that works for a medical clinic that is looking for a good cleaning service - I am going to tell them about you. The medical clinic is in Jacksonville and Ocala Fl. Only the Ocala clinic is looking for a new service - not sure if you would travel that far. Anyway should they contact you via your coaching and consulting email?
