Thanks for showing the three 15" gage engines. The GSP&P Shay was built by Ken Kukuk, Ken Petersen and me, Johnny Hoffman in Los Angeles in the 1970's. Mr Kukuk is the person on the locomotive. Eric Thomsen and his crew put the temporary track down and invited my friends and I to participate. I doubt anything like this will happen again in my remaining life.
Thanks for your comment. The Shay is a beautiful piece of equipment. My brother was there and he was also impressed. When I get my editing rig back together I plan on posting some clips of the Redwood Valley engines at Tilden. Hope to make a visit to Hillcrest & Wahtoke RR someday soon, too. Thanks again for your comment.
Ahhh, those old Santa Fe F units... When the pneumatics went off on those things, it was like a shot gun going off! If it was a gang of them A-B-A, A-B-B-A, etc., it was like "Pop!!!, Pop!!!" 5:50 Saw SP #4449 7:40 in Tucson in the mid 1980s - Beautiful brass gauges and fittings inside of the cab... That miniature Shay 10:10 is amazing...

If you see yourself let me know the frame number. The crowd kind of cramped my video style and it was a while before I took my camera back there.
