How is paying debt as a new dentist?
What major would you recommend for undergrad pre-dental students? I do want to own a practice one day, and I wonder if economics or finance would be a good major to add to human health.
honestly, as long as you have the prereqs done it doesn't matter what major you do. Go after something that interests you and you'll be more motivated with your coursework
Im 26 and I'm a dental assistant. I want to be a dentist but im so nervous, should I just go or it i somewhat think its a little late but im willing to try .I love your videos they inspire me.
While I can’t tell you what’s best for you, it’s (almost) never too late to go after your dreams
I'm a dental student and I have classmates that are in their thirties, even had one that was in his fifties. You're never too old.
I’m also a dental assistant have been for 5 years, I’m 22 and just starting my undergrad.. it’s never too late!

Do dentists get to choose what work they want to do , like you guys said avoiding prosdontics because you dont like it
you bet. Dentists can choose to only do what they want to do, and are under no obligation (and shouldn't) do anything they aren't comfortable with (or don't like)

Private practice dentistry is about selling. Your clinical skill is not as important as long as you can get by.

Selling has no place in dentistry..... 24 yrs in profession and never have I used sales tactics!
@@josephwhite6817 agreed......32 years in practice and i bristle whenever I hear some practice management guru preach about "selling". Bullshit. Do what you're supposed to do, and the money will take care of itself.
Dentistry sucks if you don’t wish to treat teeth in the first place and secondly if you don’t like to be “merry” most of the days😀.
I’ll gladly put on that perfect smile all day long until my face muscles give up, if I get that kind of the money
