In Ennis, Alaska, the men that operate a research station vanish. To solve the case, Chief Danvers and Navarro will have to confront the darkness themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
Rumble were thrilled to be involved in the fourth season of HBOs highly acclaimed True Detective: Night Country - written and directed by Issa López, and starring Jodie Foster and Kali Reis.
Delivering over 100 shots across 6 Episodes Rumble were responsible for creating Tsalal, the scientific research station at the very heart of the unfolding mystery, and transforming the surrounding arctic locations by adding dramatic snow-storm effects, thick layers of extra snow and ice and enhancing the overall night time look where necessary.
For the final episode we even created an entirely CG model of Raymond Clark - this seasons prime suspect - for the scene in which (spoiler alert) his body is discovered by detectives Danvers and Navarro, frozen solid and sat upright outside the research station in a driving blizzard.
