The local brewery is on a brook with beaver ... the beaver leave perfect size sticks with gnaw mark patterns ... It'l be easy to make a couple. .... and I'll barter for beer 😁
This video came at the PERFECT time and is actually super helpful! That vial tap handle is so sick...I'll be scouring the internet looking for 4 of those to build my own. Great video!
@@TheBruSho this video is all I needed to make the financial dive and purchase faucets and shanks for my finished keezer. I’m going with 4 ‘vial’ handles. Absolutely love that look
@@TheBruSho I wouldn’t cut corners to save a few extra bucks in this case considering how much each shank and faucet cost. Do you recommend Inter Tap? That’s the one I went with over Perlick, from what I’ve heard the difference is minor and the savings are significant
Really like the way you used the nut and glued it in. I used the brass insert and it was too soft and stripped the out side tread screwing it in to the hard wood. I ended up glueing it in with liquid nails. So good call using the metal nuts. Cheers mate.😎👍
If you mess up and get any glue or epoxy on the inside of the nut you can just buy a 3/8 -16 tap and run it through to clean out the threads. Good as new!
Nice! I've had the fittings for a while, maybe this is the motivation I need to get it done! I like the tube idea and layer the malt from the batch! Cheers!
Michael Scott would have a field day with this video! Great idea with the nut. I have seen those other brass inserts but like you mentioned, you have to buy a whole bag worth. Keep up the great work!
Those are really cool man, especially the orange tree branch one! My aunt is a metal artist and I want her to make me some cool rusted farm tool tap handles
What will you make a tap handle out of? 🤔🍺
The bones of my enemies

@@maxxmcnall Dope!! Definitely spend the extra few bucks on the epoxy to keep those nuts in place, best of luck!

@@maxxmcnall yeah I’ve had both and I would go intertap if your working with a budget
I am going to 3d print a baby Yoda and put a tap on it. The Nukatap minis are M6 sized so I will try to make a mini tap with a mini Yoda/Grogu.
Awesome, great video mate

Pet food stores usually sell antlers as dog treats. Pretty cheap, natural and unique.

Smart thinking!
Thinking about going 2 kegging instead off botteling.. But how long can a connected keg stay fresh ?
I’ve had a keg stay good for a year. But in a lot of cases beer is best drank quickly.
Genuinely had no dirty thoughts until you brought it up. My inner 14 year old was activated 🥴🥴
Haha I couldn’t help myself while editing this. Just too many jokes to be had
(giggles childishly at all the uses of the word "nut")
Heh heh 😏
Dammm I literally spent $27 on the hop on etsy like a year ago
ouch sorry to hear that, well now you can go out and start your own etsy shop haha
Theron is the braj!
thanks man.......very cool of you to say
Very true I can confirm!
awesome video. Thanks for the info
I'm wondering how well it would work out to rig some upcycled beer bottles - perfect for the clone recipes!
Interesting idea! I’d imagine it’s possible, especially if you put the nut in the opening of the bottle, but then the bottle would be upside down..
Nice! I've had the fittings for a while, maybe this is the motivation I need to get it done! I like the tube idea and layer the malt from the batch! Cheers!
That’s a great idea with layering the malts! Love to see what you make!
Awesome as usual... the timing is uncanny. We're about to get a Kegerator.
Awesome! Put some epic taps on it
"keep it clean"

Brilliant Sir ... thank you!
Thank you so much! 🍻
Thanks for the inspiration. I am going to have to make some tap handles now. I have access to plenty of driftwood.
For sure! Especially if it’s just sitting there asking to be used ha
Instructions unclear. Unspecified body part is now a tap handle. Send help.

Yep, it was you. I bought bulk 6 inch plastic test tubes. Bahahaha! Halarious, I am not creative enough to think of shit like that myself.
My man!
