    Would love to see a comparison/test of ALL the major brands battery pruning saws, that would make a great video. 👍

    Looks ideal Josh for hedge reductions where you're either working close or at arms length, bit less bulky than a top handle and way faster than a silky👍👌

    Stihl have done good with that one, I wonder if it'll stand up against the Milwaukee hatchet 👀

      GTA26 is a good little tool and one of the first pruners to come to market. With the 2 batteries on this and the self oiler its perfect for more demanding use. Thanks for tuning in

    Run a Echo DCS 2500T with a Stihl 10" 1/4p Bar and chain. Great for Reductions and can handle some larger bits. Comparable to a MS 150t but a lot quieter and the bonus of not being a 150t lol.

    looks like a nice bit of Kit with a very specialised application, not really something for the homeowner. Runtime seems quite good on it too.

    • @MachineryNation
      @MachineryNation  20 годин тому +1

      We were impressed with the run time too! For the homeowner i think the GTA26 is the way forward on this battery platform. The GTA40 is aimed for the tree care professional for sure

    You're doing a fantastic job! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?

      That would be awesome to see but which one 🤔. Do you go with M12 since they are both 12V or do you go M18 since it’s a dual battery saw aka 24v, that’s the question…lol!

    I can tell you one more important thing: the Stander tractors of the brands should be seized because the rops are missing so they couldn't even put them on the market

    Great for professionals, but for home use at this price it's better to get msa 60

      There is the GTA26 which is the domestic version which gives homeowners the option to purchase a cost effective pruning option. Thanks so much for watching

    • @MachineryNation
      @MachineryNation  20 годин тому

      The 151 is a good saw for this type of work. I think the GTA 40 will just open up the market abit more in noise sensitive areas or for people wanting something a little bit lighter.

    The GTA40 does not have a top guard like the 26 has. The top guard is handy when pruning branches of small trees. It does look good though and would complement a GTA26 which is probably what Stihl is aiming for. It will be interesting to find out how much they will cost when released? It’s great to see Stihl supporting this battery powered line with cool products like this GTA and the pruner.

    • @MachineryNation
      @MachineryNation  20 годин тому

      Thanks for your comment. I suppose like you say the top guard for in around close branches in trees does give a form of protection from accidentally cutting other limbs. The price as a kit in the UK has a RRP of £389 inc VAT this includes 2 batteries and a charger. Additional batteries are priced at £35 each. Hope this helps 👍🏼👍🏼

      Had a gta 26 for the last 4 years, first thing I did was take the guard off , it’s a great little machine and wouldn’t be without it . I saw this new machine at the APF show last September and will definitely be getting one 👍
