Love the variety in that layer cake. I have had 3 layer cakes in my stash for years and just decided to use them. I have made 2 quilts with them. Now to use the last one! So many free patterns to use!

I've gone down the Sew Yeah rabbit hole. My favorite thing are their Vegas Strips. River is adorable and yep, she's smiling!!
The layer cakes usually only have 42-45 pieces in it. So this one being 50 is an awesome deal. And with the price of the larger package of a layer cake and the pattern is the price of the box. So yes your getting a deal , you’re getting the large expensive spool of aurfil thread , the scissor snips and the tutorial and the exclusive to the box sticker and also a coupon code also for free basically.
As far as the feel of the fabrics they all used different sizing on the fabrics which washes out once you wash the quilt. Also I’ve found that it’s best to use a bamboo quilt batting with Benartex fabrics
Using a bamboo quilt batting helps the quilt drape elegantly over the back of a chair or across the back of the couch
Or you can make a bed runner for the bottom of your bed

Holly, yes babies smile! Sew Yeah is a pretty good box. My score is 7.5. I do like the colors of the fabric. Note: your roofers may start at 7AM. There will be no sleeping in.

Sew Yeah, love the layer cake. River is definitely a lover. My oldest daughter was 4 weeks early and dropped over a pound in weight. She was put on a feeding tube because her sucking reflex hadn’t developed and she wasn’t taking enough in. But in the end everything worked out fine.
I agree there is huge amount of hype with SEW YEAH. I kind of got swept up in March.
Yes, they are very aggressive too, with online sales more days of the week than any other company. The fabric is always really good quality, and I LOVE their scrap bags, but I really got caught up in it and have had to lay off for a while now, from spending too much. I'm going to continue this year's subscription box, but probably will not sign up again next year.
This sew yeah box is gorgeous. I love, love the fabric and thread! I give it a 9 but not a box I could afford. Ms River is definitely smiling and getting cuter every day! You’re so very blessed Holly. 💕💕
That Benatex line has similar vibes to a Craftsy ( when they sold fabric) line called Botinicals . The thread was a gorgeous colour.
The Sew Yeah company is like you said very popular, but it is a lot of hype IMHO. The prices are average and I like deals lol I love the layer cake and especially the pattern. Oh my...goodness... little Miss River is too precious!!!

❤❤❤I love the colors of fabric. The pattern is one I would consider doing. 3.75 is not a lot of fabric. I'm 5ft 7 and that would be to short for me. Layer cakes usually have 42. Ok my taken Emerson quilt. It's fish ,navy or a blue would be awesome. 🎉 Thanks for update on River. Love to you and Tom.

I'd give it a 9, love the layer cake. Lucked out,navy thread to go with your navy fabric. I think it will contrast quite well with the colors.
I like the fabric in this one, I don't think the premise of the box over all is for me. If it's going to cost the same I'd rather pick out my own fabric... course the surprise element is fun. Realistically I am only am interested in the full project kit ones. It's nice that there are so many options.

Those layer cake colors are gorgeous. The thread is great. I don't love the pattern, but I give the box a 9. I am sure Miss River did smile at her beautiful grandma. She smiled and thought "how wonderful to be this loved!"

I had the opportunity to go to the SEW YEAH shop in Vegas a couple weeks ago and it was both amazing and overwhelming! It was so awesome though and I did get some goodies! Excited to go back soon but for longer!
I love the saturation of color on these prints. The texture appears to be similar to a batik (which I love), and because there are 50 pieces versus the usual 42 and I love the color Navy thread l, I give it a 9. Sew Yeah gave this fabric a beautiful pattern to showcase those colors. River is "giving" a true zen moment, adorable.
I like the Sew Yeah subscription box. I’ve never purchased from them. I’ve loved Fossil Fern for years; really pretty colors and interesting prints. I would love to make that quilt. Baby River is beautiful! Enjoy every minute!
LOL Holly! You got your favorite monthly box item: squiggles.😂 That navy you got from Missouri Star would be perfect for the background of the Sew Yeah quilt. It’s a very lovely layer cake. Given the extra 8 squares in it, I’d call it a good value for the price. I’m not a precut buyer, and I’d call it as an 8. I enjoy watching their live sales but they’re trying to stay in business just like everyone else. My LQS is a small one with a limited selection and I can occasionally find fabric at Sew Yeah that I can’t readily get locally, like Liberty and Tilda. What a beautiful moment of zen little Miss River is.❤

I am also giving this SEW YEAH box an 8. I agree with you about the feel of Benartex, but those fabrics are really pretty and they will certainly work for that pattern. The notions aren't exciting, but useful. The value is there if only just. 3+ yards of background fabric is a lot, but if you already have some, that would be okay, or you could use the squares for something else. Oh that little River is a cutie! ♥

Benartex is one of my more favorite fabric companies. Sew Yeah definitely has a Vegas mentality when it comes to their online fabric sales. It is addicting. River is beautiful. Blessings.

I agree with you that River is smiling. Not sure about the Layer Cake. Maybe it's just not my style. As for the value, $44.00 is a good price for a Layer Cake. Sew yeah. I love the colors of the fabric and I make wall hangings so the texture isn’t that important. I watched their podcast and wasn’t impressed. Since I love jewel tones, this is perfect. Thanks for your podcasts. I enjoy them.

Normally that layer cake would not be my preference. I usually like Benartex fabric.
But the leaf pattern in those colors really makes it different!

Not crazy for Benatex, the value for what you get for the Sew Yeah box isn’t there for me personally compared to other subscription boxes I have seen out there but I give it an 8 because the fabric and thread are very pretty. I went on a quilt shop hop this weekend and definitely will revisit a few of them. One I spotted the exact fabric and pattern (the finished quilt was on display) for my Dad’s Memory Quilt which I bought to make - it was heart healing! Oh my - River is so beautiful and precious! The Sew Yeah box is very well put together, I give it a 9. I think that pattern with that layer cake would be amazing with navy blue, even better than black!

Sew Yeah….I have collected so much Aurifil thread over the last year. I wish they would include some different notions. I don’t know that I’ve ever bought Benartex fabric so I’m interested to see how it feels. I always enjoy watching your subscription box shows. 😊

The SEW YEAH box is really good. I give it a 9.5. I love the pattern. Fossil Fern is a pretty basic from Benartex that has been around for a long time. River is so precious. Have a lovely week.
Sew Yeah would be just another quilt shop, although a big one, if it weren’t for the brothers. Their energy is contagious, which is their appeal. Oh, and their sales. If you’re on a budget, DO NOT watch one of their lives, lol. FOMO is real. That’s how I opened a box with not just two charm packs, but a jelly roll and a layer cake all in the same fabric. Their business model and all their socials really work for an online arena. I like the brights in this box’ layer cake as well as the pattern. And Holly, I think it would look lovely with the navy background. River, sigh. ❤

WOW! I am amazed. Normally I like about half of what is in any package that someone else curated. However, I liked each and every one of the piecces of fabric in this pre cut. The tones were just pleasing to me, and I could see myslef using all of them in one way or another. That has never happened to me.Thanks for the video.

I give the Sew Yeah box a 7. Fabric was pretty, especially for that pattern. I get the fabric and thread were about the same price as box, so the pattern and embroidery scissors were extra but I think I'd like it better if the price had been about $10 than it was. Good to see you today and your precious little River. Blessings ❤

I retired and recently decided to learn to quilt and I love the Sew Yeah fabric colors shown. I also love the fact that you take the time to show each piece of fabric. Your little girl has such a cute smile. She's adorable. I have subscribed and look forward to binge watching your videos to learn more about quilting and where to purchase items to quilt.

I adore this layer cake! Would make a gorgeous quilt for one of my grandsons! I love the thread color also. Will need to order this thread for my collection! This sew yeah box was very nice. With sunshine, having time to cuddle with little River you are radiant. Love the hair. The layer cake fabric is gorgeous. I’m not a fan of the pattern. I would use another pattern to show off the Sew Yeah fabric. Sweet baby❤️

Sew yeah box is an 8.5 to me. Cost is high.
Sew Yeah did an excellent job on this layer cake. Most of the time you get 42 pieces of fabric with maybe 20 prints. There were no repeats of color in this one. Enjoy little River. My great grandson was small too when born and now is a little butterball at 8 months old with his first 2 teeth. They grow up so fast.
Sew Yeah does some nice quilt tutorials. I stay away from their on-line sales, though. Like you mentioned once, it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of the moment and buy fabric you really don't need. I do like the fabric choice and pattern in this months box. And that thread color is beautiful! I give the box a 7 this time. Mainly because it is not much of a savings over buying the items separately (esp once you add in the shipping cost).

I don't watch Sew Yeah anymore because I've bought things I didn't really like, plus it takes 3-4 hours to watch a show. This box I would give a 10 because I liked the fabrics, the pattern, and the notions!

I'd give it a 6, it requires a lot of extra fabric and the box price was not a bargain. I do like the pattern and navy background would be beautiful.
