    Follow Living Zoology during their travel and work! Episode 5 from Kenya will take us to the area south of Tsavo East national park, where we came to search for Red spitting cobra (Naja pallida). During our first evening we found a Link-marked sand snake (Psammophis biseriatus) and then we were called to rescue a Red spitting cobra in a house! The whole snake rescue is in this episode, it was an exciting moment to save this deadly venomous species from being killed by humans. We started to educate local people about snakes and also visited local restaurant in the village - nyama choma! Stay tuned for episode 6, you will see more footage of the Red spitting cobra and a huge Puff adder!

    Great footage. The more I see the Red Spitting Cobra, the more I am enamored by them. The color of the snake is amazing. Did the snake strike at all during the time you were with it? I know it "spit," but did it strike? The way it seemed so relaxed when moved was amazing. You must have a calming effect of the snakes. Great job. Great work. GREAT VIDEO!! Thank you.

    • @LivingZoology
      @LivingZoology  2 роки тому

      Thank you very much!!! Red spitting cobra is one of the coolest snakes we ever found. It did not strike at all. Usually spitting cobras spit for few minutes and then they realize that you are not a threat. We are always calm and make slow movements and snakes get used to us :) Thank you for your support!

      @@LivingZoology I have your sticker of the Red Spitting Cobra on my sax case. I think between this snake and deep black of the Black Mamba, one could turn those two snakes into mascots for a high end car, like Astin Martin or higher. There colors are some of the most vibrant colors I have ever seen. Now, that could be the videography here as well, but I do not think recording capabilities are that good in modern tech. So, this is a pretty even tempered snake? That is amazing. Now I have another species of snake I would love to see in the wild before I die. Keep up the great work. You two are amazing in what you are doing. I am eagerly awaiting the next video posting. Enjoy some time off and have some fun. Thank you for your work with these magnificient animals.
