Haha thanks! It’s not as hard as you’d think. The trick is to have at least one long cable, I have a 3 foot one, that you plug into whatever pedal your mic is plugged into. That way you only have one pedal near the shower and the rest of your gear is safely far away, then just keep a towel near by and be super careful. I did a dry run to test the slack and distance of pedals and all that before I filmed.
turn that gain up and that shit would sound amazing. I got a waterproof contact mic from Crank Sturgeon which i usually use for making the bubble vocals in various gorenoise projects that I've been working on, but every so often i'll run the sink or shower over it with the gain cranked n one mic channel, then have either a drone or chain of distortion and delay pedals in the other mic channel running them through the built in effects in my mixer for HNW/harsh drone type shit.. we actually have the same mixer. Or press the contact mic against the front panel of a box fan with gain and distortion blasting. fun stuff. You've inspired me alot with your channel and for that I can't begin to thank you! I hope you keep on making videos.
I had to watch this again and it is so sick. I would fucking electrocute myself doing shit like this! Genius, just genius.
