- NYMR - North Yorkshire Moors Railway from the air by drone. We are at Levisham Moor in summer with steam trains passing through between Pickering, Gothland, Grossmont and Whitby.
This first installment of aerial footage around the NYMR Levisham area, features outward bound Seaside Special, Yorkshire Express and inward bound Seaside Special returning to Pickering. Spectacular views along the valley following Pickering Beck and Newtondale Forest.
A closer look at the footage will see the before and after shots of the track-side fire which featured in my previous video.

The highlight, at 4.15, is where a family of long- Horned cattle are descending a moorland path , when a youngster , stops to look to the camera , but Grandma following directly behind , firmly prods the lingering youngster into the Rump , restoring velocity, instantaneously ! , .. So glad that wasn't edited out ! Worthy of an Oscar .

Awesome video, love the sounds. So natural. You got a new subcriber from Norway
Hopefully your careful viewers will watch this with headphones to pick up all the ambient sounds that you added that make this video come alive. One has to listen very closely to pick up the faint train whistle . If you watch a television video from even ten or fifteen years ago, you wouldn't get the quality that you have here. UA-cam just went down as I was 5 minutes into this. I'll have to pick it up later.

Brilliant drone views, , must see over again . Could some of the landmarks & interesting features be listed , like on the route-learning vids ? Former sidings, quarries, signal-cabins, etc.
