Dark Forces II is definitely one of my all time favourite Star Wars Games. The whole Jedi Knight series is amazing and loads of fun.
KOTOR2 for sure, the depth of that game is great and the character of the exile is my favourite with some funny conversations with my favourite line in video games of all time
"I saved her life, it doesn't mean i'm gonna go charging up her cargo ramp"
personally i loved kotor1 but both were great games
Battlefront 2 2005 will always be my favourite Star Wars game.
Same
Same
there is a aim reticule in the options menu, and you can also disable auto aiming
Kyle Katarn is one of the best EU characters, I love this game, and for fun you have to watch a speedrun its insane!!!
Wait, but I do remember a reticule, you had to activate it in the options menu, but it was there.
It must have been, how else was I snipping probes from as far as they would render with the repeater?
there is one
If Han Solo was a Jedi kind of reminds me of the last Jedi I played in a Tabletop RPG. He was a New Republic naval officer in addition to being a Jedi. Before that he was an anti-Imperial pirate, a rebel Privateer, and an Alliance naval officer. His usual on foot fighting style was a Heavy Blaster Pistol in one hand, a lightsaber in the other and a second lightsaber flying across the battlefield via the Force. Fun times.
I don't have a lot of Star Wars game knowledge, but the one I remember playing as a kid that I'd love to see you play on a Star Wars Month video since you love crazy PC Star Wars games, maybe take a look into Star Wars: Droid Works.
I was also very distracted by this game and its...yellow lightsabers? I can dig it. Anyway, awesome video, Mathas. Happy "Life Day"
Speaking of Quake, Jedi Outcast was made with the Quake engine
Favorite Star Wars game = Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. I still have the entire cheat code list memorized. BRB gunna go spawn a speederbike and a rancor
Kyle Isn't diet Han. He's the Chuck Norris of Star Wars
Hard question, but my favorites are Jedi Knight 2:Jedi Outcast, , TIE Fighter and KOTOR
My Favorite is Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2. It's the first PC game i ever got beside math blaster i think i was nine or ten. There's crosshairs u can turn on. And a overlay map that david brevick said inspired the diablo map.
This is the first game I ever played. Nostalgia overload
While the whole live-action thing didn't really go anywhere, we still have games with motion capture. Just look at The Last of Us
Do you think you'll ever do KotOR 1 / 2 on Judge Mathas?
I love this game so much. Good video!
nice intro Mathas. Do your neighbors think that you are a crazy person between youtube and your DnD sessions? lol
Oh the memories of playing Jedi Knight multiplayer on MSN Zone with a 56k dial-up. I specifically remember two maps, the ship map where you fought the floaty, spinny, dark jedi and the map with the fallen ship that you could jump on top of (you weren't supposed to) with a maxed force jump.
I replayed the single player a couple years back and man its short but sweet. I beat the game in like 6 hours, but it was a very enjoyable 6 hours. I miss level design like Jedi Knight, where the environment is necessary for progression and isn't just glorified corridors. There's a lot of 'intention' in the level design that you sadly just don't see much of anymore
Imagine Mario But your Controlling Charles Martine Dressed up as Mario
Dat katawa shoujo music in the beginning
u know it brah
I'm sorry, I'm three years late, 1min28sec into the video but I simply must say something. "Diet Han Solo"? Kyle Katarn is not "Diet Han Solo". Dash Rendar is "Diet Han Solo". Dash Rendar's entire backstory is "second best smuggler behind Han" and his ship is "second best behind the Millennium Falcon". I do like these videos though, and I hope you're still making more.
My favourite Star Wars game is Jedi Outcast for sure, that game is amazing
*claps* I too remember the great war with T-Series Mathas.
Favorite Star Wars Game = TIE Fighter, in fact the whole X-wing series of games are really tight and still haven't really been matched in the same way since
Tie Fighter is perfect!
Cool video
I actually had no Idea the Jedi Knight games started out as Dark Forces! It's kinda like how Warioland is technically Mario Land 3, great video as always Mathas
Hey. I am currently playing that game. I must say. You have to learn how to play it and unlocking the secret areas is a must. But so far I am enjoying it
I mean I lived through all that, but still insane to think that we started with 2d sprites for enemies and items
I'd say my favorite Star Wars game (Nostalgia wise) was Jedi Outcast 2, but I've grown to love the KOTOR.
Favorite is a tie between Star Wars Battlefront 2(2005) on the PS2 or Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron on the PSP.
I'm surprised not more focus was given to the puzzles in the later part of the game, as well as the nature of force power system. Other than that, this is a good review of the game :-)
My favourite star wars game: Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, with honnorable mention: the original X-Wing
0:14 Greg, I think someone needs a cookie...
Shout out to Katawa Shoujo's ost!
Hell yeah! :D
Jedi Academy next year?? YEEEET
I'm tied between Battlefront 2 (2005) which I've sunk way too many hours into playing Galaxy at War and KOTOR for the story and lore.
Rogue Squadron is my favorite Star Wars game, followed by Knight of the Old Republic 2.
I LOVE STAR WARS!!! I. LOVE. STAR. WAAAAAAAARS!!!
STARWARS MONTH!!!! KOTOR 2 will always be my favorite. With the community patches of course.
to be fair the only thing that ruined dark froces being cannon was how he ended up fighting boba fett in one level -_-
How is it ruining canon?
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1&2
So what you say is.... I shud pick up this old game that is just collecting dust?
“No iron sights, no aiming reticule”. Sigh. You can turn auto aim off and turn on crosshairs in the menu. ............ whiskey delta.
You should do Ocarina of Time now that Nintendo stopped the embargo! :D
My favourite Star Wars game is Battlefront 2!
... sorry, EA was jedi mind-tricking me.
im ready to get judged
Star Wars “month.” :p
Bunch of old, bad, and outcast games on his shelf... and there I spy Fallout 76 lol
Missing the obvious "so uncivilized!" joke. :(
Never played star wars..... IMMM SOO SORRY DADDY T^T
Marthas you like Star Wars but do you like sand
I bet that Im the only person here that hates Kotor. Combat in it is just awful. After Jedi Outcast it was unplayable for me.
I mean, to be fair, Kotor isn't even in the same genre as Jedi Outcast.
@@uriel7395 But instead of making turn based RPG with garbage animations they could make action RPG with good animations
Yeah, I wouldn't call the combat the strong point, but that also isn't the focus, so I can ignore that.
@@MrStatistx Thats not an excuse. A good game can focus on all of its aspects.
