We house rule experience gain: - For kills, you gain XP equal to the killed operative’s APL characteristic. - For mission actions, an operative can score XP equal to its own APL characteristic (still earned at a rate of 1xp per action). - TacOp XP works as normal. It means models start gaining skills sooner (2 or 3 games rather than 5 or 6) and it allows ‘button-pushers’ and designated killers to earn XP at a roughly comparable rate. It also acknowledges how much harder it is to kill an Intercessor than it is a Guardsman or a Cultist.
Hello guys, love your content just wanted to suggest one thing: I think it would be insanely cool and maybe would bring more viewers to your channel and warhammer community altogether if there would be short recaps of whole mission where your game of 40+ min would be explained in 5 minutes. This would hit people who never played warhammer in real life with dopamine and would highlight the fun parts of knowing all the rules. Of course if only this doesn't add to much of work for your uploads
This was my first exposure to KT narrative, so I'll be keeping up with it. Looking to get into KT but just waiting to see if they announce a new edition or not.
Narrative is a silly blast. 😄 Termination is the end of the season for the boxes. We will be getting a new edition of kill team, but it likely wont be for another ~6 months. I don't imagen the core gameplay will be too drastically changed. simplifying how los works may be the biggest thing
No, equipment and rare equipment are 2 different things. This only doubles normal equipment. It would be fun and silly if you could though. Rare equipment is supposed to be so rare that you can never get a duplicate
the lokatr in that shooting action was wounded from the previous tp and has only 3 wounds left. with the 4/5 gun and ap2, The archon leader only needed 2 hits to guarantee the kill since the dwarf could only save 1 of them. also, on-gaurd is an overwatch action so BS is worsened by 1 and I hit on 4+. Hope that helped clear up the scene
Some of the narrative missions are pretty whack, particularly the ones where you get a shitload of points for things at the end of the battle, invalidating everything else from the battle

That gets you going fast. Highly recommend doing accelerated exp in shorter campaign.or 1 day event

Yeah some are pretty wack, tbh some of the most fun and memorable games come from the imbalanced narrative missions.
