Thanks for another awesome report guys! I played Scouts 3 times and for some reason Im bored with them. Its really basic team great for begginers. Btw you should make video showcasing your every kill team and terrain :)
15:10, unfortunately SS Exarch'es pistol still hits on 3+, he only gets 2+ on melee weapons. Also the Scorpion's Eye technique only gives you indirect for one shot action so you couldn't shoot the leader two times.
Against most teams absolutely. But scouts have multiple sources of ignoring obscurement. So less so against them, but still useful. Just be careful though because they go away at the top of the turning point
So the striking scorpion uses one with the gloom, which is their aspect technique. Which allows them to stay in conceal if they moved within 1 of a light or heavy terrain.
That's an update in the critical ops 2022 update. Few minor but impactful changes there. One of them is the dash in the recon scouting option now has fly. So you can get up to vantage now super easy wahapedia.ru/kill-team2/the-rules/critical-ops-2022/
@@ManlorWeb yay! Honestly we try to make ours vids informative of lesser known rules and cool strats. So if someone gets something out of it, mission accomplished
I have two question. 1 why you have heavy bolter and rocket launcher in book is write you can have only 1 specialist, warriors can be taken how much you want. 2 why you shoot with hunter to scorpion when tracker use ability ? Its write you choose one enemy to say he is a engage order to one friendly (when you choose hunter) but its not in the same activation when tracker do this. Its must be next activation
Let's break those down a bit 1. This roster lets you bring both heavy gunners. Totally see it's a bit confusing but each have their own bullet on the roster and you can bring both heavy gunners so long as they have the different guns. 2. I'm not totally sure what you are getting at here. The tracker simply moved up and shot tp 1 himself. But the 'track enemy' ability lasts until the end of the turning point, no need to use it the next activation
1. You can have both heavy gunners check your book. In that list there is 1x heavy gunner and another heavy gunner and check everyone else who play them if you dont trust book. 2. Track Enemy: select one enemy with conceal order visible to and within 6 of this operative then select one friendly operative. Until the end of turning point friendly treats that enemy as if it has an engage order.
I mean you shoot in the same activation what tracker do abilitie so you should do abillite next is turn of Scorpions and after this you can shoot. Its not in the same activation you can shoot with another friendly because beteran guardamen spotter has information you choose enemy and one friendly can shoot right now
The twin chainsabres are trash, don’t use them. They were included in the kit to keep the 40K players happy but have in Killteam they are not as good as the other two options, the claw is great for the Brutal but my choice is always the Biting Blade for it’s better base damage. The twin chainsabres basically give you the shooting ability of a primitive human! Avoid if you wish to do well!
It looks like there is a time and place for each weapon. As it should be bc objectively worse weapons are just a fake choice. But the twin shuriken does give a higher kill chance with the relentless rending despite hitting on 4s. Better than the single. If bracketing is all the same on your melee then it's worth taking the twin weapons. With 5 attacks brutal really doesn't provide much value against low hp targets. 3 normal hits is all you need unless they have special melee abilities tl;dr take twins vs 8 wound or less teams
Great fun! I like that you guys talk through your turns.

Thanks for another awesome preview!! I am still waiting on my Salvation set.

Oh no! Good catch, the ability indeed ends after a shooting action rather than lasting the turn. Double indirect would be very strong.
That's what I was waiting for. Rooting for Eldar
I always thought the Eldar had the coolest aesthetic.
guessing the smoke grenades would have been useful to get up the board for the eldar turn one

6:50 you use the ploy emboldened aspirant only after rolling your dice not before
At 7:18 the scorpion should have been switched to engage because of the tripwire and you would have gotten a shot using the missile launcher
So the striking scorpion uses one with the gloom, which is their aspect technique. Which allows them to stay in conceal if they moved within 1 of a light or heavy terrain.
@@2CasualYT Ah ok, thank you for the information 👍
Again, amazing battle raport, thanks for inspiring me to organize few freinds intro KT
That's so awesome to hear. Glad you guys got into the game
Thanks for the report. Where do you guys get the objective circle mats.
We etsy them a long time ago 😅
Thx for the reply….. I’ll look around, and I like the towers in the middle of them. Going to look to find a suitable proxy and print it.
I don't think you can dash up terrain like that. Bc of the core rules. Unless something has changed 🤔 3:33
Yep! In crit ops 2022 you now get fly when you use the dash in the scouting step
Yes you can with scouting dash
Nice! im gonna the try the scouts for sure :)
Woo! Excited to know what you think of them
Needs more light (especially in the photo)
Nice! I guess I got here just in time! I wonder if the two teams are well balanced against each other's.
I dont think so. 3APL is too much :D
Where did you guys get those objective markers?
The 3d parts come with the bheta decima terrain.
The neoprenes beneath them are from etsy
in the scouting step, how does the dash climb? do u guys ignoring the climbing rule in the scouting step?
