Recently picked this game up with the latest warlords DLC and I'm having a blast! Any plans to do another playthrough with the new patch and DLC? Still one of the biggest problems I've seen is the images that it picks. You might get 1 or 2 good ones but then you get stuff that is not related at all.
think it changes more than just the portraits as my citizens complain about pollution (even if i selected ammonia based life)

Yes, you can add your own portraits but I haven't looked too deeply into that aspect.
As a principle, I don't like AI, but this is maybe the best use of it I've seen. Specific and targeted generations, not trying to do too much.
Brad Wardell is an asshole, but this really does sound good.
Can generated races be saved and swapped? I'm assuming at some point this AI functionality will be withdrawn, when Gal Civ 5 comes out. It needs online access, right?
What did he do? I only know about him from GalCiv many years ago and the Gamer's Bill of Rights.
@@Kalalification He spoke up when the Gamergate thing was going on. People like Nathan Greyson at Kotaku had been preying on young women that wanted into the industry and where giving them coverage while not disclosing sexual relationships with them. Kotaku, Rock paper shotgun and others turned that on its head and blamed just about everyone but the creeps involved. Brad made the mistake of protesting how corrupt this made gaming coverage at the time. These days it does not matter so much since youtube has a much bigger audience then the traditional outlets that used to get away with copy pasting each others arguments. Like with everything else its best to do serious research if you want to know the truth of something (and thats one of the things Brad advocated). He got targeted very heavily for speaking up.
A good example of this hysteria that was created is an apology article on Zen of Design, by Damion Schubert on the 14th of Oct 2014 over biased and misleading coverage of Brad. You can google it (and more).

@@Nwolf5555 I love how its them preying on women and not women using their bodies to get ahead..Zoe Quinn actively sought out men to sleep with just so she could get extra favors and a leg up on her competition. Its shitty on the men too not excusing them either, but its kind of moronic to pretend like the women who were doing this were forced/coerced into it.
