Yeah, agree Starscream is sexy in TF One, def one of my fav Starscream designs ever. XD
They did not really do anything new with TF Starscream tho. His backstory in this movie was inspired by his Aligned continuity one. In the Aligned continuty he was part of the Cybertronian army, and was part of the group of bots who guarded the Primes (he was Snetinel's bodyguard essentially) who he pretty much betrayed because the false Prime lost Starscream's respect. Later Strascream was given command over a space station, which Megatron invaded, pounded Starscream into scapmetal, and took his men, and station. (at the end Starscream swore alliance to Megatron) :)
Yeah much of the movie is just a culmination and twist of other continuities... it all really comes together nicely in this movie and creates what I feel is a simple, refreshing origin that makes sense and gives me hope there will be more of a single continuity as the focus moving forward... if they stick with this timeline there's so much they can do with this now! Explore the origin of the high guard In a spinoff series, a show about the 13 primes, shows and movies in the future of this timeline, earth stuff... I think that would be sick!

I was just going to say... the fans are so happy with it and I would imagine kids are loving it as well... the marketing made it feel like it was gonna be another generic, tasteless flop... but it genuinely shattered my expectations...
I'm hoping all of our good reviews and discussions will save it but not sure exactly what's going on or why the numbers aren't what they should be... regardless I know the studio has boatloads of cash, hopefully they see how happy we are with the film and they don't let the numbers take them out of the big picture
