I think the "huge elemental damage bonus" is in the updated set bonus when you craft with cold crystal ore. Its counts as a seperate set, so you have to craft all 4 with one ore or the other, but it jumps from 35% total damage increase to 40% increase.

The Legendary rated skins for Bears are much better. Same resist, but additional HP regen on kills at cold temps. Harder to get, but well worth the effort imo.
Hey what would u suggest should we make 2 separate chest and leg armour for cold and heat? I was thinking to use 1 piece for cold and 1 for heat and then use Heatium, coldium or ice crystals, fire crystals and food items to maintain body temperature If u can try finding mountain Cow hide its golden varient of normal cowhide it gives +15 cold resistance and +20 max load or floting ice bear skin +15 cold resistance and 5% heal when killing enemy bellow 10c which is most of the time
This is another joke this game if this are importent why have one spot for them like the dead forest the more conent last weeks i seen from winter the more i don´t whant to join it it had been somting if the old map was still hear and they spread out things more now we have what mini map with new surv mecanicals just a joke

u can also apply hide to ur normal gloves and that increases feather yield as well :)

Great info. I wasn't aware that the temp gauge showed the resistance with the amount of blue and red on it! Maybe I won't die so much now. :)

Thank you. I was using Bear hide and seal hide because I was shooting birds but not getting feathers. I will go check out the flamingos.

correct but the legendary bears are harder to find than flamingos.

There is currently a bug for gear not propertly giving the frost resistants
