I could watch you all day John. Your way of explaining and showing us how to do these items. You even share your mistakes…love it. Thank you sooooo much.
Thanks for this. V8 is my favorite for breakfast. Hadn't even thought of this. This will help with the cases taking up space in my SHTF stores. V8 will get a "metal" taste if held too long.
My husband just did this but he adds 1 can of spicy per tray to the regular or low sodium and pre-freeze. Always remember when filling trays less is best
I purchased my FD’er and it should be delivered in the next two weeks. I have been binge watching all your videos. I can’t wait to get started! I have two racks of canned food and it takes up a ton of room. I want to freeze dry some of them to preserve longer and make room for more items. I purchase my beef from a local rancher (grass fed and grass finished, no commercial feed lot) and I also purchased a sous vide machine. I’ve watched videos on the different ways to freeze dry steaks and it looks like cooking them in a sous vide may be the best way, especially for beef with little marbling. Thank you for all your videos and sharing your knowledge! It’s much appreciated!
What a great video. Thank you seriously for sharing your "mistake" and what to do about it, then your exact step by step. Wonderful. I see V-8 on my list.
How informative and refreshing! You know what else? I think you could freeze dry the v8 or even Clamato juice…. Add some celery seeds…. And when you reconstitute, you could add a splash of Worcestershire sauce and some beer…maybe some other seasonings…. You would have Michelada! It tastes much better than it sounds. LOL. ~Sharon
Oh my gosh! I was so glad to see this video because I have just been contemplating over the last few days to freeze dry some V8 juice because I love it. Great video!
@@JohnInBibs LOL I figured it out after I posted, Thank you for responding. I was trying to work in ounces. My husband loves V8. Added to the list Thank you

What is a vacuumed chamber?
If those are half pint would you not divide by 8? Where did the 16 come from? I’m confused
1 gallon = 16 cups, 1 pint = 2 cups, 1/2 pint = 1 cup
