Firstly, amazing and awesome work, thank you for all us novices that will be able to do this ourselves now. Second, do you happen to list the places you purchased all your new parts and bits and pieces from in your Patreon subscription? Thanking you heaps :) -Jamie
@@RestorationApprentice That is really cool, thank you for that, when i am close to starting on my project journey I will subscribe for sure. Thanks again. -Jamie
A- Have you found anyone on the internet that does a more thorough, complete, incredible job than you? B- How do these videos not have 100 Million views?! C- Can I send you my 944 I just bought, for you to do the exact same thing?!?! 😜🙏🏻
Thank you very much, I appreciate it! Amount of hours I put into these projects is ridiculous and it's not really affordable unless you do it yourself. Thanks again!
That’s one shiny brake booster! I repainted my mount as well… and recall mouth-testing the check valve. 😂 It seemed fine, but I replaced it anyway. Cool sticker reproduction, the whole brake assembly looks amazing!
Ah man, I can't wait for this beauty to get back to the roads completely restored!!! I wish I could do the same what you are doing, but I have no idea how to start a project like this. What would you recommend to a complete beginner, how to learn the art of restauration?
Thank you! This is my first project too... I have very little prior knowledge. I learn as I go most of the time. I just imagine it as a lot of smaller projects and it gets a bit less overwhelming. A lot of youtube watching, to see how other people do with other cars... and a lot of research, forms and manuals reading.
@@RestorationApprentice oh wow, I couldn't tell. I thought you are a mechanic, you do everything so precisely and you pay attention to details. Then what you are doing is even more impressive!!!
So little subscribers for such meticulous attention to detail in your restoration is a shame. Are you going for a 100% stock restoration or will you make some subtle improvements/changes. F.e. a switch to LED lights or a different steering wheel?
@@RestorationApprentice I respect that! If I ever get to work on a project like this I'd want a mostly stock exterior. I'd consider maybe switching the lights and some interior changes though. I think the interior will be tough to get looking right unless the stock parts are being sold somewhere. I look forward to see how you will tackle it!

This will be such a cool car. And you’ll know how everything goes together and works.
Very cool that you are not just replacing everything!
Thank you!

Thank you! For now everything will be stock... I'm not a big fan of visual mods but maybe some performance mods in the future.

Looks like you saved yourself $650 by rebuilding the fuel distributor yourself. 👍
Yeah, these are not that complicated once you get into it, thanks!
