Have you guys heard of the deer in Galion ohio that got killed by a car? I found that deers shed like two years before he died and he still was over 200 its crazy how big they can get so quick.

Well I think taking a intentional spine shot on a deer of any Caliber is a total DB Maneuver. Hopefully that was not the case…..

It's sad that antlers, boundaries & all kinds of eyes kept this story from becoming a great hunting story. If u want to put a deer down w/o a gun or crossbow within 20 to 25 yards it's possible. But a spineshot will paralyze a deer but they can still pull themselves out of range b4 u can get off another shot & then it's just a horror story for everyone involved including the deer.
I hope that thing spread its genetics and there are even bigger ones for y’all to hunt!

Why do urban deer get so big? What do you think?
Age. They don't have better nutrition than the deer that live in soybeans and they don't have better genetics than one mile down the road. What they do have are places where they can avoid hunting pressure because there are no gun seasons and little hunting overall. The fact is we are too good at hunting to grow deer to their full potential.

Zero pressure so you see the big guys more that normally would have been whacked or extremely hard to find and hunt those giants that are pressured are way smarter and illusive and the big urban bucks ive noticed have no fear of humans thats my thought on it

Because there in citys or in parks that you can't hunt them in so they have no pressure on them to leave so they live out there life there because there safe and they get used to people feeding them and being around all the time and for the most part have nothing to fear besides getting hit by cars when the rut kicks in or worst case scenario illegally poached
