I been telling folks about the depth of this mans talents since 91. Once I learned he was the Piano Man. Sadly gone much too soon. He was supposed to keep the funk going into elderhood, like George, Bootsy and Bernie etc... Remembered In Power.
I’m here because I knew Kent (Shock G’s brother) years back and am just floored we’ve lost Greg. I met Tupac but never knew Shock G. Both are a terrible loss.
Facts. Pac never got to see a gray not to mention all that cash dinero he manifested. PAC got his start in the game w duke. Wish they could have given us one more bumping track to see his way out the game smdh😔 RIP 2 both legends
It’s a shame he didn’t release more art like this. Pure genius. I hope he inspires young artists out there to do their thing and keep the funk alive. Rip MC Blowfish
This is just pure, raw, musical talent! It's refreshing to hear amidst all those NOISE played on the radio. Big up to Shock for this instrumental, takes me back in time to the good ol' days.
Love how he still played instruments. After he retired. And also thank you for introducing Us all to Young Humty with Money B. Rest easy Shock G aka Humty Hump.
@@mackmccord3743 Dre’s not as musically inclined nor original as Shock was. Shock played multiple instruments like piano, synthesizer, bass, guitar & drums. And also understood music theory. Most of Dre’s material was sampled or he had hired professional musicians come to the studio to record guitar licks, bass lines and sometimes piano melodies that he couldn’t play. Not saying Dre is not a dope producer, but he’s nowhere on the lvl of being musically inclined as Shock. I’ve seen Dre play the piano in an updated video & he sounds like a novice.
