@@Alexandriel. zbrush uses a wildly different system to calculate 3D objects which means it wont really work well for workflow in blender BUT if blender had a special sculpt mode specifically for it then i think it could work
@@Alexandriel. That also depends on your pc, no software make miracles on that
@@hugoantunesartwithblender If you throw the same sculpt between Blender and Zbrush on the same system, you will know that Blender use more Ram and begin to lag very fast

Beautiful version of Blender. And I'm also looking forward to version 2.91 that I was testing in its alpha version. Hopefully later LANPR / LineArt will be included, which in the experimental versions together with Greasepencil shows great potential for non-photorealistic rendering.
To the people who ask for Blender to be as powerful as ZBrush in the sculpting area, think that 3Dmax and Maya with a much bigger budget have not made it. On the other hand, Blender has many things that ZBrush does not have, they are different programs that focus on different areas of 3D. If insist, could also ask that ZBrush be completely free to make more fair with both programs. All softwares have things they are better and worse at, pretending that one programs outperforms them all is unrealistic.

Also one of the best features in 2.90 is the new search bar that shows you where these things can be found in the menus. Also the shortcuts for them. SO GOOD!
You can also directly add shortcuts for them or add them to quick favorites.

in the meantime 3ds Max: so yes, basically this year we have fixed the bevel modifier.

I'm really happy I made a promise to myself to stick with whatever 3D software I was using, and I was sad it was Blender. I wanted that promise to be more with C4D or 3D Max, but after 1 month into Blender. I do think it's one of the best decisions I made, to stick to Blender. Insane stuff. And this stuff will improve Eevee further.

@@gehriggosselin9468 Yeah, it's quite shocking to see big paid software programs like 3D Max and Maya racing to catch up with the features Blender adds. It should be the opposite. But this just shows how creative and passion driven the team behind Blender is. The more I use Blender and see it's true power, yeah, absolutely, I guess in the next 5 years it will be absolutely head to head against the other giants.

It is possible if you lock camera to view and turn on autokeying.

@@NickCMOS well, I don't have any VR equipment, but I thought that would work. Check if lock camera to view works on VR. If it does, then it is possible to use autokeying on your camera position while you explore the 3D environment. Then, your VR session should be recorded on the graph editor.
@@softwarelivre2389 Yeah, I've thought as well that that would work. But for some reason, Blender uses the camera you picked and then adds ... what I like to call a "fUnNy gHOsT caMerA" ... it just adds another camera, which uses the original cameras coordinates and rotation and bases its coordinates from it. And then it just dissapears. I may be dumb, I may even be stupid... That's all, there's no BUT.
It was the first thing I thought about tho.

• Add one or two new features / tool
• Fix few bugs
• Relocate icons so it looks _“new and cool”_
• Older Software version blocked to open _*new files”_ that are made in the updated software
• High-Sky Price in a monthly payments
True. Though to be fair, forward compatibility is always complicated, and Blender 2.7x versions are completely unable to open any Blender 2.8x projects. But yeah, that's not planned obsolescence, that's just due to technical reasons - you most likely can open most project files made in 2.9x in 2.8x because the update wasn't as drastic.
@@Architector_4 you actually can open newer files in older blender versions by appending them instead of opening the file. I think. I didn't tried it but it should work as far as i know.

Sometimes you can open them "fully" via normal means too. I've once loaded a 2.83 project into 2.80 Alpha, and it actually worked, as much as the featureset of an alpha version allowed though.

Nice. More awesome features I'll never be able to use because I suck at modeling. Lol. Once I get good at modeling, everything else should fall into place. Anyways, I loved the 2.8 remodel of blender. It should have been called 3.0. You guys pretty much built blender from the ground up again. Anyways, 2.8 made everything way more user friendly. There's many shortcuts people probably never knew existed but know have a button people can see. 2.9 adds many cool things also. I will forever be a Blender supporter. I hope to eventually donate to this wonderful company!
