Good is a general concept . You see some one picking up trash on the trash and put it in a bin, that's good. You see someone giving some money to the poor. It's good. A good Muslim is he or she who followed every single commandment from the Quran, Hadith and so on.
It's just a matter of faith actually. like a good Christian or a good Buddhists, something like that.

As for the prophet who prophesies of peace(salam,shalom = Islam) when the word of the prophet come to pass,the prophet will be known as one whom the Lord has truly sent.(Jeremiah 28:9)
So it meants here...as for the prophet who predict the future of Peace(Shalom & Salam = Islam) when the word of that prophet who predict islam,that Prophet will be known as one whom the Lord has Truly Sent!(Prophet of God)

Hi Aman, being born in a muslim country or in a muslim family doesn't mean somebody is following islam.
I have lived in many countries and my statistics tells me that only 1 person out of 1000 muslims really follow Islam 100%.
99% of muslims either follow their country culture/traditions or family values based on the social status and background.
I'm a Muslim and don't think that I didn't ask this question to myself everyday but it's obvious for us it doesn't matter u are Christian or Muslim or anyway devils everywhere and this life and this devil it's from us not Allah it's a test for us and everyone will stood in front of Allah and Allah will account them about every soul is killed or a heart is broken believe me even and a lot of Muslims will go fire because these thongs Allah dosnt forget our pain
There isnt a single community or idealogy unaffected by extremism. Just because islam means peace doesnt change that.

Where have the scriptures been changed? Please point out any changes in the book of revelations especially. Islam is not from God. God gave us free will, Islam seeks to destroy that.
mans will is under the will of Allah , your journey and what happends to you is not in your control , except were your given choice and of these choices is your freewill to choose in things such as your religion, god gave us wisdom, knowledge and intellect to ponder ,reflect, think to find Allah,know there is one god, and come to know that we were not created merely for amusement but for greater purpose , and sent us prophets ,books and examples to be the best human being (men of god) to find salvation , through time men corrupted,lost,changed, distorted,inserted teachings and said this is from God. the jews have only canon 5 gospels left the rest were lost and parts were missing/reinterpreted. the bible is collection of books that were accounts if men about jesus some who never met jesus or saw him in a dream, verses about god head , were rejected by other denominations or thrown out from other versions of bible as they were added later. nicean creed is taught by church not jesus. many things were done by mans hand in the name of god. islam was revealed by God(Allah) as final/last testament/scripture to mankind bringing them back to the original message of abraham who said god is one ,no partners/assocation to worship the one god alone(submission=islam)& affirming that muhammad(pbuh) is final prophet/messenger/comforter who will guide us to all truth sent from god. to obey commandments and belief in the 6 articles of faith.
La(no) ilaha(God) ill(except) Allah ,muhammad rasul(messenger) lil(from) lah(Allah). simple
John, there are many errors in the bible. Allah said that if the Qur'an was not from Allah/God, then it would have errors in it. Only one book does not have errors in it and that is the Qur'an. (If the Bible was from Allah then it wouldn't have a single error in it, let alone many). Also, the Qur'an has lots of miracles and scientific and other proofs which is unique to the Qur'an; no other book boasts this. The Bible may well have remnants of the truth and for sure it has wisdom but to say it is from God is impossible because he wouldn't send a book with errors in it. The first word revealed to Muahmmed pbuh was 'Read'. I invite you to 'Read' the Qur'an if you dare?
