Honestly this has been amazing help 😂 - I've been attempting to build bus lines in my streams for a few weeks and I'm just useless so thank you for this it's helped a lot ❤️
I'm so glad to hear that this video has been helpful for you! Building bus lines can be tricky, but with practice and the right strategies, you'll get the hang of it in no time. Don't give up!
Why does the bus station have a load of parking? Honestly such a gripe with this game is the fact that all of the ploppable buildings have loads of parking, why is it not a building upgrade to make it optional? A city centre bus station would not have parking like that irl, same goes for a city centre train station, or school etc etc. All of those buildings will look so out of place in city centres, esp in European themed cities
Some city bus stations also act as depots for Greyhound national transits too. Such as the American city I live in, in the Midwest. That require parking not only for the travelers but for the employees and contractors of the transit lines.
@@landsraad9745still doesn’t explain why the parking isn’t an optional upgrade. And these bus stations are for local busses, not intercity, so any staff wouldn’t be parking there but at the depot.
And this mentality of things working for US cities is a bit dumb, many of these assets work in US cities but not in EU cities, so one of the two themes is rendered useless as it’s impossible to build a convincing city
In Europa it's called "Park & Ride" and it's pretty realistic especially on end stations in suburbs. I agree with the part of it being rather optional.
On the upgrades for the Bus Station is you can remove the back parking, by adding an additional 6 platforms similar to the existing platforms.
Well there arent any more "pocket cars" in this game and no way is everyone gonna place down parking on their own so its probably there so people at least have somewhere to park
I like these changes, feels more like the other transit systems now and looks better too.
thank you for making this video the help is much appreciated
This was useful. Thanks
Thanks for the info, what I was actually looking for was how to add a stop to an existing route. Everything says to drag the line into the stop but I can't drag it at all.
I should add that I finally figured it out. To edit an existing line, you need to be in the build tab and have build line selected. I was in the transportation status and then looking at my line.
This is a little off topic but I don’t use the rail road tracks they just go through and it’s pretty annoying having to build around them, is there any reason I shouldn’t just destroy them other than using them for transport in the future. Great video btw!
Thank you so much, no wonder I have no bus the bus stop tool is important!
Glad to help!
I missed the part of the in-game tutorial - or maybe it wasn't explained - but in order to do tourism, do I have to click on that three-person symbol to make that stop, or do I have to make the bus stop ON the three-person symbol for tourism?
seems a bit annoying that you have to place stops first before creating a line. I like it better how it is in CS1
Btw you can place as many stops you want in one go. Much faster tbh hate going back to find a bus marker lol.
Short and informative.... really an welcome change compared to many other creator videos that need 40 minutes to come to the point.
Could you maybe do an power plant overview? With and without the upgrades? Thank you for consideration. :-)
Glad it was helpful! Great idea for the power plant video. Any other suggestions/requests for future content?
The various building upgrades for power plants and other service buildings would be an interesting topic. Especially as they can affect the building quite significantly and also can be expensive. Your opinion about when and if they are worth it would be valuable. Thank you for consideration. :-) @@Czardus
Hi. Thanks for the nice tutorial. Is there any option to add another stop to an existing line?
I have been wondering the same
same here - how can we edit the existing lines?
You can do so by left-click drag a line to a bus shelter/stop that you have placed.
@@frenchprint so simple ! thanks for the tip
Thx for the nice and quick guide. But pls tell me how i can add new stops or change some stops in an existing line!
When you have the bus line tool (the one you use to make a new line), you should be able to click and drag the existing line to one of the stops to add that stop to the line. Or right click on an existing stop to remove it.
@@Czardus Thank you! I will try it tomorrow! Thanks from Germany
How do you change the type of bus? Like double bus
Its weird how its just making the entire road into a bus stopping lane, kicking out any parking cars...
Do you have to rerminate a line at the bus terminal, or can you have a line that only goes between certain stops?
For it to be a bus line it has to end where it starts . Hope that helps
It doesn’t have to go to a terminal at all. You can have it be only stops as long as you start and end in the same spot.
how do you edit a bus line to add more stops?
But can you make changes to the stops in an already made busroute? Without having to delete the entire route and start over?
Just want to clarify. To make bus routes you only need to place a Bus Depot and bus stops, to make bus routes. Placing a Bus Station is optional.
Yes, edit the route by clicking on the route and dragging it to the new stop you want.
And a station is indeed optional.
i already do it, so many bus station and depot but all i see on the road is taxi please help me
Hope the video helped you out!
Yes, ok, all of this is very self explanatory and I have been doing this for ages, but how do I force bus roads to only be used by busses? I need to make highway exempt roads for my busses to use to get from one section of the city to another, and yet they're filled with everything that's not a bus! Why aren't my cops doing anything? Is this a bug? How come nothing works as advertised? Do I just have to switch to meticulous subway or train stations to avoid cross contamination with roads? Please, someone needs to help me, as this is the only way that I'll be able to get my busses to run on time!
It's quite possible this is a bug. There are many issues they are still working out.
how do you add a stop to an exiting bus line?
When you have the bus line tool (the one you use to make a new line), you should be able to click and drag the existing line to one of the stops to add that stop to the line. Or right click on an existing stop to remove it.
How do you edit an existing bus loop?
Using the bus line tool that you use to create a line, click and drag your existing line to a new bus stop.
how do you adjust an existing bus lane?
Using the bus line tool, click and drag the existing line to add a stop.
Do you know if there are horse racing tracks in cs2
No, there are not. But maybe someone will make them as custom assets.
@@Czardus ok thanks for letting me know also you should try making a UK city in cs2
Yeah hopefully people will as I would love to see a horse racing track in cs2 with graphics of the game
how do you move bus stops? Is it possible ?
Ya you can relocate the bus stop if you click on it
@@Mradiboss1 did not know thanks !!!
You don‘t to connect the bus in the end to the depot again.
The bus line doesn’t need to connect to the depot.
@@Czardus i mean yes, that is what i said.
