The left side ground floor (storage area) can be connected to the house by opening up the arch under the stairs. This also gives you the opportunity to connect the ground floor spaces into one huge separate apartment.

I love this house. Very much agree that converting a ground floor room to a bedroom or space that can be switched to a bedroom in a twinkle woukd be great. Have to consider aging guests (Father) and the idea that I just may want to live here forever....❤ At the other end ..the top of the house.. would it be possible to cut into roof space for a terrace? ...having a quick 'escape' to a private outdoors space and a potted garden would be another line on my wish list.

I watch these literally upon waking Sat am so that blast of the first note of the old intro theme was a bit jarring for that hour in the am. Always had to scramble to mute for a second then turn it back up to hear what you were saying. This one is molto meglio!

Lovely, ground floor would be my studio for hosting art and creative workshops, including a place to sell and display. The first floor would be kitchen/ diner, lounge and office with sofa bed. I’d put a door to the cloakroom from that room. Upstairs I’d Jack and Jill the en-suite with the other bedroom and have the remaining bedroom as a cinema room :)
Oh Man Where do you start. It would be a year round home for me. I enjoy fabric arts and to have a shop on the first floor would be awesome. My other hobby is model trains and the third room would be a place for a layout. My mind goes crazy with this one. Wonderful.

Loved this one but I wouldn't change anything upstairs. I'd certainly do something with the rooms on the ground floor however as that seems such wasted space-maybe move the kitchen to one of the room downstairs instead. Move the workshop to the separate room. This house could feel so open and could breath with some ground floor mods. I live in Scotland ( recently moved here) but have a house in BC Canada which I want to sell and then I'll be knocking on your door. Keep up the good work- so fascinating.

Very nice home! A bit above the price point I’m looking for but stunning, nevertheless! I’m wondering if one could, with some creativity and good engineering, make the main floor bathroom into 2 bathrooms…connect to the adjacent room for an en suite, then have a half bath/WC as the “social” bathroom off the living room. There is certainly enough room for both.

I would make that room an office/ guest room. It doesn't have enough light only one window. I would close up that square on the other side and make it a bookshelve.

It's beautiful and it has a huge living room which some of the other homes you've shown didn't have. The owners did an amazing job and I wouldn't change anything . All it needs is the new owners to put their style of furniture and decorations, maybe just paint the bedrooms. The first storage room would make a nice little guest room.
The room you would change into a bedroom i would turn it into a library

Dave, this is a lovely house. The main lounge needs a 'camino'. With a little bit of freshening and modernisation , it would be a real "stunner".
I would make each of those big bedrooms like hotel suites with seating areas, small fridge and basic beverage prep areas. for guests and to do short term rentals.

I be greedy and keep that large bath for the on-suite bedroom. then build another bathroom as you suggest for the two extra bedrooms. You don't need that sort of space for a guest room. you don't want them to stay too long, after all.
How do you always find such lovely homes that I really like? more than any other sites I keep up with. Once again, Stunning , thanks for showing. I really do like the idea of using the dining room as a lounge . it's a very pretty room. and I'd do something else to be determined later with that fireplace room. Perhaps a studio for art work./ occasional spare bedroom. Its a bit small and crowded.

I somehow missed this place... just when the tour group was talking about Introdaqua i checked. It's fill with possibilities and i like the idea of having a small shop downstairs. What is missing is outdoor space. Dave do you think you would be permitted to sacrifice the 'flower room' for a roof terrace?

It is certainly a large place inside. But what happened to the floors? It seems that whoever lived there did not take care of the floors, neither inside nor in the balconies. The balcony floors will take a century to clean.
Don't know what you mean, the floors are in great condition, you can get polishers here if you want them to shine more, as for the balconies you just jet wash them, it takes 10 minutes.
I’m wondering if is allowed to hang clothes on that balcony.
Perfect except it has no garden.
