i have a g7x mk2 myself, the low light capability definitely caught me off guard as well. ive found it to be really good with capturing night time races and touge runs because of that factor but i’ve got more experimenting to do with it

V7 STi for the win. They have one of the best engines out of any version STi, it’s a highly valued engine for a swap here in the U.S.

My bug sti standard with just a remap got 336bhp & a 25mm rear arb made it a lot better turning into the corners much more oversteer , also don’t forget you got front & rear lsds so power into those corners 👍 great vids 👍👍

When in doubt, if you're thinking about it, get the Mark II hahaha!! Do you ever use gimbals for the stabilization or is that just too much extra weight and not as "stealthy"?

What's it like working on your car in japan? it seems like parts and what not would be readily available but... what about space? What do you do when you need to get underneath the car? Japan seems like it's pretty packed tightly in the urban areas and i haven't watched a video in a while but last I saw you had a gravel parking lot that you lived on. Just sorta curious

The camera was a bit too blurry imo... it felt like it couldn't focus for the life of it; other than that, I don't think shakiness is a problem; love ur STi, happy for u. Wish I could be there on the touge w/ my RX-8 (also white), but budget for time and money is way out of my league right now.
I wish I could get a bug eye sti in the states 😭

I've got very touge like back roads in the area I'm at in america. It's all farm land 15 back into our back roads as well so I've almost never seen cars there at night. To bad nobody cool enough to run them with most of the time. People I ask are usually scared.

The Canon G7X II has a 1" sensor, which sucks for low-light shooting.
Get a used Sony with an APS-C sensor.
The Sony A6300 can be found used for around $500, great autofocus, great for low-light but it doesn't have a selfie screen. You can use the hot-shoe mount to put a cheap monitor though.
The Sony A5000 is a bargain at $200 used and has a selfie screen but it's not as good in low-light performance (1-stop difference).
The Sony A5100 is in between at $350 used with better autofocus and low-light performance than the A5000.
If you want the same form factor as the G7X, get a used Sony RX100 V for $500. It kills the Canon.
