Nath some great tips bud . There is a great mod with the fuel flap door and that panel underneath that , where they weld them to the passenger door then fill it out . Then it all looks all smooth and part of the door . Think it’s a lot of work but looks cool nath . Anyway keep it up bud , not going to mention the old tailgate . I am sure your get round to me soon 😂 thanks bud I’m out 😊😊🤙🏽🤙🏽

I swear my dad an ausin cambridge in black it needed an mot the passenger door and sill was rotten he wall paperd it packed it with cardbord painted it black and it passed mad in 1977 , tax disc in window was a gueness matt .I loved the days off 7 day produce your documents , Me and my sister both had green rangerover 3.5 VOUGE identical .for 5 years in 1988 .
Hey bud so etch primer goes on metal first as it’s bonds to bare metal better and it has better anti rust properties, epoxy goes ontop of that 👍 other people do different things.
@@YTDTETV morning mate, I tried etching primer first in the engine bay as didn’t want bare steel to get rusty until I painted it, half of it flaked off when I washed it down to 2k primer and made a right mess, I’ve got all my van sanded now, both sliding doors removed tailgate, roof took a 15 hour day to sand properly… now I’m going to try sorting the engine bay out, tried paint stripper but wish I hadn’t as it’s messy and hasn’t effected all of it… not looking forward to todays slog but as you say “no on one else is going to do it” your vids have inspired me a lot, help a lot
I heard it now a few times and dont get it. What meanst to "d-i" a surface? May i didnt get it right, but maybe someone can explain it to me. Sorry, im not a native english speaker :-)

Thanks Christina 🙏❤️
I've worked as a panel beater in many big bodyshops and was taught to never put filler over paint

Just out of curiosity, why choose etch primer and not 2k epoxy primer?
