I doubt that he's jack of all threads. He clearly mastered them all and used each skill to a point it is the integral part of his existence. Lol😂 respect, sir. I salute you!
After all this time I completely forgot how bad the condition of this car was in the beginning. You brought it not only back to its former glory, you went way beyond... and all built by yourself! You're the man Jeff!! Congrats to this amazing car.
Upholstery, bodywork, custom interior, custom wiring, engine tuning, is there anything this guy can't do? He's a one-man factory. A little surprised that he actually had to go to get the car dynoed, and he didn't build one of those himself as well! I've not seen anyone else on UA-cam that can do everything like this guy can!
funny enough as it says in the bible to develop your talents and you know it is so true....when you start doing stuff you end up like this guy.....i am pretty similar to this guy..on small step at a time and you get there...no mattr what u want to do.
I bought a 1974 GTV in 1978 for under $4000 from an Alfa dealer in Belmar NJ. It was 90% perfect. White with black interior. It was my pride and joy. Unfortunately my Dad got very sick and I was forced to sell so I could help with their bills. I have photos and they both elate and sadden me. Your build is the most envious car I’ve seen in my 74 years on this earth! Congratulations---
I was stationed in Italy early 80's and loved those cars. I could never find one that I wanted so I ended up with a Fiat Brava that served me well during my stay!
One of the most underappreciated videos on UA-cam. This guy is incredible. From the custom wiring harness to making his own seats, not to mention the metal fab work, God broke the mold with this guy. Goodness.
Wow, that just puts the size of this project into perspective, and you did it all on your own. A credit to you Jeff, a massive solo effort. Bloody awesome.
Just found this video ! HOLLLLLYYYYYY 😵 I’ve never seen someone with so many skills ! At such a young age ! I’m genuinely sat watching this video with my mouth wide open ! You sir WIN THE INTERNET ! I haven’t seen anyone come close to such a masterpiece…. Forget all of these max Armstrongs …. This bloke is on another level
Jeff I really don't have the words... It's absolutely incredible how you took this rust-pitted pile of metal, had a vision of what it could be and painstakingly made it happen. I've followed this build from the start. I remember you telling us "This will not be a quick build." You weren't lying! Lol. Even 680G was around when it started, and that was SOOOO long ago! I'm glad you are enjoying the "finished" product despite the few gremlins to figure out. Congrats, bro! This is one of the best builds I've followed on YT. This should be made into a movie or a documentary.
My stepdad was a panel beater, fabricator, paint sprayer, usually mixing by eye,in fact he could do anything automotive related, but watching the alfa transformation was not only inspiring, but memory inducing, my stepdad attempted something similar with a Morris Minor and a Rover v8 and a Jaguar rear axle. Look forward to watching more. Brilliant.
Easy to forget how much time and how much work you’ve put into this when it’s spread over a few years of YT videos. It’s a great build and you can be rightly proud of what you’ve done with this.
Could not agree more. Followed the build from the beginning and forgot just where it came from and all that went into it. Truly an astonishing outcome by a “home built” guy in his garage. Incredible really. Hats off to you mate!!
In all the thousands of car videos I’ve watched on you tube over the years and years I have never seen a person as talented as this, by a country mile the most talented guy I have ever seen. Remarkable.
this is the most incredible video of cars ever built, this gentleman did everything himself from start to finish from tinsmithing, mechanics, upholstery, absolutely everything, incredible, I wish I had such a talent
This may sound wrong but the thing I'm most impressed with is how deep you had to go to banish all the rust! Because without that effort the build is just about pointless. I just kept thinking, there can't be anymore? There was... til there wasn't. So much impressive work, great job!
I was already blown away by the craftsmanship and attention to detail, but then it got to the wiring harness/loom setup and that’s true skill and expertise.
Good Lord! You did it all by yourself, engine, body work, electricity, even the seats! The knowledge!! You are a University! On top, the Alfa GTV 2000 is one of the most beautiful cars there is.
The first time UA-cam recommendations are on point. There are some crazy talented humans on earth, and this chap is one of them. It’s one thing being an engineer to this level, but being able to do everything to build a car to this level, even bespoke seats, is unreal! You’ve got a new subscriber!
This build is absolutely jaw-dropping. The time and effort you put into this build is beyond measures, from the car being in that bad shape, to you building, engineering and fabricating so much to make it work… calling this insane would be an understatement. You sir, are an absolute legend!!!
A great reminder of just how much time and effort you've invested in this build. I'd forgotten how bad the shell was to begin with, you nearly replaced everything!!! Thank you Jeff for bringing us along for the ride, it's been awesome, resulting in one of the best builds I've had the pleasure of watching.
Absolutely amazing handling every single facet of the build on your own, all done at home. I just can’t get my head around that. Jeff you are truly a special breed.
Sir. Sir. You are a goddamn legend. I counted so many different "give up" points, and you kept soldiering through. To be so good at one or two areas is one thing, but to be such an all-rounder is nothing short of staggering. This is the most impressive video I have seen on UA-cam. I salute you.
As someone who watched the compilation before going back and watching all episodes at normal speed I’m now stunned at seeing the true scope of this project, Jeff. Just fitting that motor into a pristine car and getting it to work would have been a task but I see you had to rescue, restore, and reinforce the entire car first. My god man you are a legend. And in the middle of all that such cool touches such as electric actuators for rear windows?? Just wow.
This guy is brilliant when it comes to cars. Body repair to paint to sewing upholstery. The onky thing he did not show is cooking dinner. Kudos to you. Youre the man
Coming from someone who's spent his whole life in the autobody repair industry and done many restorations, the quality of your work is truly exceptional, you are most certainly a master craftsman, i only hope you have a willing student or 2 to pass all that knowledge and skill on to, excellent work sir!
Ive been following the build since day 1. I must say looking now how much you improved your skills over the years makes me proud ! Good job man ! I really admire your work especially with the seats. They are amazing. The whole car is!
This was a major flex, what a ride! You worked every material, worked it well, refused to elaborate and built a heck of a beauty! Congratulations for your work, I'm amazed and I wish I could learn in my lifetime 1% of what you demonstrated here.
I’ve watched the whole series as it came out so there was no surprises here, but seeing it all again from start to finish really showcases your ingenuity, capacity to learn, technical skill, hands on problem solving and all round awesomeness. Love the car, love the channel, huge respect. 👍
The dude just straight up built an entire car, how is it possible to have so many individual skillsets?!!! That has to be one of the best videos I have ever seen
I actually hope this guy gets to enjoy this car as much as he deserves, the time consuming labour of love that went into creating this is phenomenal. Enjoy every moment and let that Ferrari music play. Bravo
First time seeing this channel and i am completely blown away... This man literally built an entire sports car inside and out and it looks amazing... mad respect
Wooaw...! This timelapse really shows what an incredibly job You have done, Jeff. I have to admit that i first met this channel, when i saw the little Alfa in the paintbooth getting the yellow colour. I followed it all since then. Really impressive and skilled work done. Congrats to you with this beautiful yellow beast🤩
You reminded my childhood when me and my dad restored old suvs, were not skill-full like you, but wiring and fiber glass fixing made those days. You have many skills and hats off to the amazing build.
I'm over here proud of myself when I build like a work bench or a new door for my office by myself....this guy literally just built an entire CAR! Honestly one of the more impressive project videos I've ever seen...
The first minute or two is for the purists who said you ruined a perfectly good car, the whole 16 minutes and 34 seconds is for the people who actually love cars.
There are plenty of people out there to say it should have returned to stock, but does the world really need another stock Alfa 105? I love what has been done to this car.
Once of my motorcycles is a 90s Moto Guzzi that sat for 2 years in a dealership in Adelaide before I bought it. I made some mods and encountered some pushback from purists who told me it wasn’t what they would have done. My reply was that they had their chance to control the process by getting in first and buying it, and since they didn’t that perhaps they should shut the fark up. Critics are a dime a dozen. More power to Jeff, I say.
Wow, big call! I think purists love cars too, just in a different way. I personally love what Jeff has done with this particular car, given what it would have taken to restore it. However, I also love a pure Alfa or Ferrari. These 105’s in pure form are now attracting big money, but it takes as much to get them to that standard. Of course, money is only one consideration when restoring or modifying.
What a fantastic car. You should feel really proud Jeff, you have worked incredibly hard and finished with such a unique and amazing car. Thanks for taking us on the ride with you.
Руки из правильного места растут, а самое главное это понимание того что он делает, что как работает и что за что отвечает, а таких людей не много. Однозначно мужик с большой буквы, таких людей не много. Всё в одиночку!!!
What a thing. My background is automotive engineering/R&D. I have worked with many extremely talented people in the industry and NONE of them would be able to assimilate the range of skills and apply themselves to produce anything like the quality of end product as here. Simply outstanding - I am seriously impressed. When I see talent like this i think there just might be hope for us all.......
Absolutely blown away with your skill, endurance and determination. I can't think of anyone else I've seen who has done so much of the work themselves on a car. Loved watching you work and love the car, weirdly it still has a slight Alfa sound to the exhaust, again brilliant work. Have subscribed and I'm already looking forward to your future projects.
GOD LEVEL fabrication skills.. how is it even possible to be an expert at so many skills..?? This guy should be flown around the world to do builds RWB style
A true craftsman in more ways than 1. I have never seen anyone do everything to restore a vehicle the way you have. What a masterpiece you have created. Much appreciation to people like you. Well done mate
I saw The twinkle in his eyes when The engine started ,He was so Happy …The workmanship si Fery thorough measured and very complete .this is no longer build The Car ,but ART ,good work Jeff 👍👍👍
"A jack of all trades and a master at none"..... Bulls@*#. This gentleman is a master at building cars, period. I am absolutely blown away by his talent and the amount of knowledge his brain must possess. Bravo, what stunning end result.
You know, there are regular youtube people, and then there are some f*in incredible talents that makes you say "Oh I don't wanna miss this guy" and subscribe instantly, brother you are one of those rare few awesomes.
I am in awe of all the different skills displayed. I know this is the way all cars were built around the turn of the century and those doing it were just normal craftsmen, but seeing the same skills displayed more than a hundred years later and all by the same man is so inspiring.
This just popped up on my feed. The word genius is banded about far too often and should be reserved for men like this, an actual genius. I would have happily watched the long version of this even if it was hundreds of hours long. Subscribed. How have I never seen this channel before?
Man is living every man's dream here. Just chilling in a garage being a mad scientist with his own creations. @15:00 was pure childhood joy that was expressed, mans gonna live to see 115 if he keeps it up.
I followed this throughout Jeff, and it's been an inspiration throughout. There's so much to love in the cr, but I think my favourite thing you've made are the grilles. Not only are they better than the originals but they're better than any other attempts I've seen to redesign the originals. Fantastically well done, the car is a fanastic testimony to your talent and imagination.
Mate at every step of the way, I was confident that you were going to outsource part of the build to a specialist… absolutely blown away by the breadth of your skills and the outcome of the build. Incredible stuff
sat here in a London suburb with my tea and scrambled egg breakfast, watching this amazing bloke fabricate everything to build one of my favourite cars and just when you think you've seen it all, Jeff sits at a sawing machine stitching his own seats............. mind blown! I bet he makes his own merch too
Getting the wrinkles out of the leather was amazing, the sewing, the effortless 3D print and when Jeff got excited at the end…that and everything else too
From a hardcore body works and then doing the upholstery.. you're amazing man.. an all around car builder... How i wish i've got all those kind of tools...
Congratulations brother. Everything is perfect. starting from the modification of the car body, car bonnet, car exhaust, wiring installation, the whole car component works well, car body painting, engine modification, car body tapping, welding, car cushion stitching and the cooling system itself car air conditioner. . 10 in 1.. Amazing talent you have brother. Good work.
Anyone who saves an Alfa is a hero but Jeff, you’re a legend !! I would love to see your car on the Hot Wheels Legends Tour as it would look great in 1/64 scale !! Cheers 🍻
Your capabilities and experties are a sinkhole full of knowledge. Chapeau guy. You did a stunning remarkable hand made job on that GT Alfa Romeo Super.
You’re a genius Jeff, a true master with many talents. I have never seen someone with such an incredible ability to do everything, hats off to you mate! Respect.
Truly amazing. If I had your equipment, the time, the money and most important, your set of skills I would go a step forward and build my own car from scratch. It is not that far away from here.
After all that incredible work taking this beauty to first drive must be something I can't even imagine. Im just happy that I found this channel. Instant sub.
We have an engineer, an electrician, a mechanic, a tailor and a blacksmith in one person. I didn't believe it could exist.
I was thinking about the same thing
*he
*designer. Although the one little thing I dislike a bit is the silver stripes and cage. Green or purple would’ve been amazing!
Wait I’ve forgotten to fit the air conditioner!!!
Ha ha my door gaps a bit too big I’ll weld a bit on 👍
In all of my many years of watching UA-cam, I have never ever watched a guy with so many skills. Hats off to you mate, you are truly incredible 😮
F. F.g ml
From body, chassis, engine , seats, leather 😮😮😮😮
Gonna agree with this. Im even wonder how he ever done that all by himself. Mad respect to him!
Totally. This is just insanely good work. Lets hope the music on this is copywrite free and he didn't do that as well.
I thought the exact same thing. I'd love to have even 10% of this man's talent and motivation.
Never, never in my life, I see someone with a whole package of skills. You are by the definition of jack of all trade.
I doubt that he's jack of all threads. He clearly mastered them all and used each skill to a point it is the integral part of his existence. Lol😂 respect, sir. I salute you!
When he goes from bodywork to wiring to custom upholstery I’m shocked at each step, truly a quintessential craftsman
I was thinking the same thing. Dude can do everything!
... a Genius !!
I'm speechless ❤
It wouldn’t surprise me if the guy also wrote, played and mixed the music.
He doesn't. He does build violins though..
how does someone learn to do everything like that? any roadmap for building
After all this time I completely forgot how bad the condition of this car was in the beginning. You brought it not only back to its former glory, you went way beyond... and all built by yourself! You're the man Jeff!! Congrats to this amazing car.
Talking about someone who goes way beyond 😜
I still wait for your datsun done dude 😊
2 legends meet
He built a new car. He used the old car only as a template, to know how to weld the new car together. I cannot tell whether I am joking or not.
Just saw this as it got lost in all the comments. Thanks mate. Really enjoying your restoration.
Why isn't this guy mentioned in every car magazine on the planet, he has to be the GOAT!
Correction, he is THE GOAT, the one and only...
This isn’t a resto-mod - it’s pure art. Your skill set is amazing!
3a3aa😊a af
Mini-Lite Wheels would add to the look.
I've been in the automotive industry for a very long time, and I've watched a lot of restorations, but you, my friend, are an absolute MASTER!
Exceptional engineering, machinist skills, plus. Super impressive.
Whoever that man is.. he is a legend!! Building everything from scratch, having multi crafts, doing it with passion and love.. thats just perfect
funny enough as it says in the bible to develop your talents and you know it is so true....when you start doing stuff you end up like this guy.....i am pretty similar to this guy..on small step at a time and you get there...no mattr what u want to do.
Congratulations---
Loved my '74 GTV! Used to drive it up to the mountains for skiing and would blast past the lines of cars struggling up the mountain road.
Pdh❤
I was stationed in Italy early 80's and loved those cars. I could never find one that I wanted so I ended up with a Fiat Brava that served me well during my stay!
One of the most underappreciated videos on UA-cam. This guy is incredible. From the custom wiring harness to making his own seats, not to mention the metal fab work, God broke the mold with this guy. Goodness.
Goodness, I forgot how truly horrifying the original shell was under that green paint 😱 Incredible work. So nice to see how far it’s come
So did I. It really was a basket case.
@@HomeBuiltByJeffcongratulations for your work and skills! You did an amazing job restoring this car. That's a love statement to Alfa. 👏
Best 16 minutes you can spend on UA-cam, period!
Unreal, once again.
Totally agree!
U bet
Brilliant.

On top, the Alfa GTV 2000 is one of the most beautiful cars there is.

bloody hell, this guy makes campentery, mechanics, apolstery...everything...he is very special...genius

As an italian i have no words for this car.. i would say its priceless ❤ god we love alfa romeo and ferrari ❤❤❤
Vous n'aimez plus Lamborghini depuis que les allemands l'ont achetés !??
Just found you! What talent !!! I have spent a lifetime practising to be a musician but my second passion is automobiles.....
You are amazing !!
A great reminder of just how much time and effort you've invested in this build.

I m leaving this comment here so that after a week or a month or a year when someone likes it, i ll get reminded of this masterpiece! 😊
Me too!
Here’s a comment as a further reminder
Man's watching this twice a day for the next year lmao
Reminding you after 1 month. If you get a reminder after a year, hit me with a reminder too 😅
Вспомни еще раз. Где то там живет волшебник который из любой тыквы делает карету бро.
He’s an electrician, painter, mechanic, welder, carpenter, tailor, plumber, metal fabricator, fiberglass guy. What does this guy not do.
Don’t forget upholster too
Spend any time with his wife😂
I actually hope this guy gets to enjoy this car as much as he deserves, the time consuming labour of love that went into creating this is phenomenal. Enjoy every moment and let that Ferrari music play. Bravo

Nothing but love to every person bringing these precious pieces of exterior art back to life. Much love from Russia
I’m in awe. Masterpiece in motorwork, coachwork, metal work, machining, welding and engineering. Truly impressive skills and incredible craftsmanship.

Man is living every man's dream here. Just chilling in a garage being a mad scientist with his own creations. @15:00 was pure childhood joy that was expressed, mans gonna live to see 115 if he keeps it up.
Putting the car on a rotating rig is actually a genius idea!
To undertake every aspect of this rebuild yourself to this level of craftsmanship is truly remarkable 👍
Mate at every step of the way, I was confident that you were going to outsource part of the build to a specialist… absolutely blown away by the breadth of your skills and the outcome of the build. Incredible stuff
My old man had this alfa I was so invested watching this, amazing work bud.
sat here in a London suburb with my tea and scrambled egg breakfast, watching this amazing bloke fabricate everything to build one of my favourite cars and just when you think you've seen it all, Jeff sits at a sawing machine stitching his own seats............. mind blown! I bet he makes his own merch too
Getting the wrinkles out of the leather was amazing, the sewing, the effortless 3D print and when Jeff got excited at the end…that and everything else too
This guy must be a genius. I'm in total awe. How can one guy do all that to such perfection?! Amazing! 👏👏👏
I love it when people take old cars it get them back on the road! But what you have done takes it to a whole new level. Amazing!!
Are you kidding? You have some severe talents, impossible to describe what you have done, incredibile, bravo!
Talented isn’t an adequate word to describe this fella’s skills, passion and patience
From a hardcore body works and then doing the upholstery.. you're amazing man.. an all around car builder... How i wish i've got all those kind of tools...
So basically, he just built the car by himself. This man is an embodiment of a car factory.
I'm in absolute awe! This man is everything. There's nothing that he can't do and do well. That was an amazing project.
Cheers 🍻

Those Alphas are notorious for rusting away.
This was a Master Class on how it's done! Incredible!
I do not understand, who only one person can combine so many different skills. Great job and result!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
