We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

Ever since I started watching Sam the Cooking Guy my fast food bill has plummeted. I actually find it fun to spend 30 minutes whipping up a Sam special and taking the leftovers to work the next day. Keep up the outstanding work Sam.
Same here. I'd rather eat his recipes made at home than any fast food. Fresh and delicious
Yes!, why eat McDonald's when his recipes are so great. Seriously want to go to California for our next vacation and hit one of his restaurants. Hopefully get to tell him how much I appreciate these videos.
I second this … this guys food is my go to stuff and some of his vids have become staples in this home !
All year long is Brat season here in Wisconsin. 🤣
I second that!!
Agree and he disrespected that brat far to much , he’s not allowed in Wisconsin
Banned for life. I'm surprised he didn't use precooked brats. LMAO ! ! !
People acting like brats were invented in Wisconsin...I'm guessing none of you are German or have ever been to Germany. No one cares about how it is in Wisconsin because it's shit compared to the real thing
Obviously, you don't have a clue about Wisconsin or its German Heritage. I doubt you've ever eaten anything but a precooked pan fried bratwurst. Your a moron. LMAO, and you think and talk like a sausage. Frankly, what you think is of no account.
Dudes ... this guy told Kathy Lee and Hoda to shut up on their own show. LOL I've been a fan ever since.
*reads comment, then subscribes*
I actually saw that clip for the first time today and it was hilarious lol. Like Jeez let the man talk for more than five seconds before needlessly interjecting

I appreciate how to the point this video is. Like classic youtube was once upon a time. I love this. Thank you for this easy meal!
Just made this Sam in December 2020 for a cul-de-sac party. Delicious! Now a new family favorite. We lived in Germany for three years. Your recipe brought back memories. I can't say enough how critical the apple cider vinegar is - it gave that perfect "tang" to compliment the brown sugar. I will be making brats this way forever more. Gratitude!
Mix mustard and some cooking liquid mixture together then put on bun. So good and so is this recipe!!
Made these beer brats for Memorial Day today. Everything exactly 💯 and they turned out phenomenal . Quick easy unbeatable recipe. A definite repeater.
Thanks so much for this! I'm from Milwaukee, a substantial part of bratland. We included putting the outdoors-grilled brats back in the beer n onions to keep them warm; you're method to prevent splitting open is great, and now I can do that, so thanks. Decades ago, when visiting my folks in-season during my grad school time in Binghamton, NY, I'd take a couple cases of Huber Bock (best bock ever made) from the brewery in Monroe, Wisconsin, back to school, and a bunch of brats, and host occasional Friday afternoon grilling outside on the Dept. patio. You did a great job here.
Just moved from Cali to Illinois and cook this recipe for my wife's family. They loved it!!! Thx Sam 🤙
I can’t help but appreciate how good your videos have become. I remember how nobody really liked the way you walking around all angry and the camera guy always got in the way but now you do actual tutorials and the comments section isn’t so negative. Good job
A creator I will always enjoy and swear by is this Sam(n'crew), nothing better than a bomb recipes with a good sense of goods.
Found the channel from this video and haven’t looked back. Delicious
Sam I love your channel. Thanks for all the tips. You make my weekends extra delicious!
Just did these tonight -- I will never go back to plain grilled bratwurst. Thank you Sam! 🤤🤤🤤
Love watching your videos, so glad I came across your channel, you give me great ideas to cook for me and my daughter. Thanks so much
Happy Friday Sam always excited to see what u cooked up! 🔥🤤
I did try this recipe out and it was great, thanks for this video!
I love doing this in cast iron - only difference is I give them a bit of color first then pour on the beer.
Sam, i absolutely enjoyed this recipee. Between the flavors in the onions and peppers combined with the mustard, there was so much flavor going on. I added just a little siracha. Was amazing. Thank you
The way and the things you cook are so beautiful to watch.
Keep up the good work my Sir.
I love that your videos are short and straight to the point, food!!
Love this recipe! I've made it a couple times, but didn't do the whole "give em some color" part after they came out of the pot. Will definitely need to try that next time. Good stuff as always!
That little bit of character/color will level them up!
So I made them for dinner yesterday. They were amazing!! thanks for the recipe!
I've made these several times and they are fantastic! Making them again tonight.
That’s awesome! I made them, I like sauerkraut so I added that as well. So good!
This is great content. Actually Food Network level stuff.
TFN would ruin Sam. Have him off selling knifes and shit. He better like this
@@SigShooter9mm seen him late night tv selling Philips Air Fryer vimeo.com/285983786
Actually, this guy has no clue about how to cook a brat. Finishing a beer brat on a stove is lame and totally sacrilegious. He would be brought up on charges in Wisconsin for murdering a bratwurst
@@grillfanatic4425 "brought up on charges in Wisconsin..." what about in Germany where they're from? Fuck Wisconsin and what you people do there. Brats didn't originate there and Wisconsin has no claim to them. Also, as a German, they're better when you sear them like that because it does add texture and lock in the flavor.
Actually, Fuck you and your ignorant lack of knowledge about Wisconsin's German Heritage. Germany may have invented the bratwurst, but Germans who emigrated here clearly perfected them. You're clearly suffering from Liberal Puke German Arrogance and a very clear case of Recto-Cranial Inversion.
WOW. I'm giving this 1 a try this weekend.
All the nuances you need, that you would never think of, to make delicious Brats. Thank you.
I come here every three months to repeat this recipe... yummm😋 🤤
it NEVER fails
This video was the inspiration I needed to make these. Thanks
Thank you, ive been making these wrong for years, had pretty much given up on them even though i love them.
Being a Wisconsin native I have eaten a few brats in my day... That looks spot on!!
Its called the Sheboygan hot tub.
LOL! I never heard that term before. I actually grew up in Sheboygan. Miesfield's brats are the best!
I actually saw it on a local news channel showing tailgating recipes. I'm almost positive it was Mr. Food
TheEricGrant Plymouth here lol you know we all came to here what other people had to say lol
@@bendover-yr4oq No doubt! Anyone who has never spent time in Wisconsin doesn't understand how serious brats & the Packers are taken here... Lol!
Dude, I LOOOOOVE how real you are. You’re like so genuine man. Respect to that. Wish I knew about your channel long time ago.
this new editing work is fabulous. as are the brats! HELL YEAH
Holy shit, this is exactly the kind of recipe I was looking for. It looks so good.
Brother I need that hoodie. Not to mention that brat is going to go great with my new Oktoberfest stein! Cheers!
I'm making this on June 2nd...can't wait for fall..
I have tried it, and its perfect and delicious 😋 😍
Thanks
Sam, Just watched this video with my friend Ayanna and we have to say...GREAT STUFF!!! DEF will be making these as the weather cools down here in sunny LA. Keep up the amazing content! BIG FAN!
already loveing it
Another recipe that’s easy and really good.👍
Sooo Pissed right now!! I watch recipes every day and just today found your channel. Now Ive watched 4 videos in a half hour LOL Quick, entertaining, and great looking food!
Sam, I brown then boil my brats. Does your way make them have more snap when you bite?
Man this looks awesome!!!!! Trying it this weekend
These look fantastic!
❤ thanks so much! Always a crowd pleaser!!!
I made these yesterday and they were awesome.
Gotta try this! Excellent!
I can't wait to try your version. I simmer in beer with raw garlic and onion, cool then grill. I throw away the onion beer mixture. Genius to add green pepper and use the veggies.
Short n sweet, nice vid, good job!
I followed this recipe. It came out soo good. 👍🏼
I will try this tomorrow. Thank you.
I've tried beer brats about 5 times. I've tried dark beer twice and it only made them worse. Cheap American beer and onions with a touch of butter. That's the way to go. Cook them down and eat it hot. It's the second best way to eat brats. When you're ready we'll talk sauerkraut. Bring that spicy mustard with you and we'll show you how to do a German style brat.
I agree, good ole cheap American beer is better than some dark beer in this recipe
Where did you get that cast iron griddle? I have one but its 2 small.
It's October!!! We in Belgium have seriously noticed haha! Looks like an amazing dish to feast along with the month october!
Awesomeness, Thank You!
Beautiful beer brats. Awesome.
And let there be light Fr Bratober! 🙏 you da’ man
Definitely Brats Heaven Sam ... Awesome 👍
Lovely! I must get an indoor Griddle. Until I do I would imagine that a cast iron skillet would work, don't you think? What do you do with all that juice? I thought you would dip it like an au jus.
This recipe is 🔥!
Thanks 🙏
Awesome!!!
Love sam's channel I make a few of his meals regularly!!!
Looks awesome
Looks damn good!! I’ll give a try soon since it’s fall.
I did your recipe. I love it. I don't like apple cider vinagar but these were the best. Thank you.
I look at you videos for dinner ideas before heading to the store 😆
I browned mine first, then poked holes in them as the simmered in the sauce. I found out I like them A LOT! I had Lone Star on Hand so Lone Star it was, Tasted Great. Thanks for the video Sam.
Looks super tasty and delicious!!!!!
Badass Brat. Bratober! Sam...keep doing what you do...killing recipes one video at a time.
i know what i'm making for halloween
thanks SAM and company!
Just cooked this. I can vouch that it is delicious.
Just made this. Had some light beer that expired and used that it was amazing.
They are so good almost any way cooked
Just made these for me and my wife sooooo damn good ! 👌🏻
Whats a good dark beer to use?
This is my the only gps i need when it comes 2 cooking thank you sen sei....
Woooweee nothing like brat season!!! Cheers!
What kind of dark beer is best? I wanna make this but my dad can't stand Guniess. Is the flavor of the beer ready strong? Could I use something else?
I making this today!😍
Hey sam how too drink apple sider vinegar the right way before bedtime and moring let me know ok thx
Can it be any dark beer, or any recommended one? Thanks!
F’n awesome..dark beer is the ticket!
Which one is your favorite?
Love this channel Sam! Is there any reason I wouldn't want to make this same recipe with hot Italian sausage?
Sam I love your sense of humor 😅 I’m definitely making these bratwurst
This comes out great with shiner bock, sweet onion and then topped with sweet baby Ray's bbq sauce and mustard
Just gorgeous!!!
Which dark beer should I use?
Nice combo of ingredients, but I would have done those brats on your outdoor grill all at once. I love the color and flavor the grill adds to them. These will come after the Sloppy Joes I still need to try.
Outstanding. You got me. Bellisimo!! Keep up the good work. Now I wished I would have grabbed some green peepers and dark beer.
Wonderful I would do the same except all on the smoker or grill
2:49 is everything😂
What’s the best dark beer to use?
I’m going to cook this tonight!
ENJOYABLE WATCH!!! I. APPRECIATE THIS UPLOAD!
You the man, looks delicious
2:47 👼 best part!! Ahhh... yummy!! I am with you on this!
Hey, the sausage part is easy to make too! These look delicious
Thank you Sam....will do.
