Great call! It’s time for him to take the reigns and I think it should be interesting to see how crazy it can get once he has full control of the entire program and offense!
He’s got an incredible track record… that’s a little unfair. He took the Eagles offense from bottom 5 to top 5 in the NFL where they said his offense wouldn’t work (whether players liked him is an entirely different story). College Football now for a HC goes beyond X’s and O’s hence why he left the job and just wants to be an OC.
I'm running the triple option. The best feeling is just eating up the clock and pounding the ball over and over and you end up with like 50min time of possession to 10min. If they only have the ball for 10-15min it doesn't matter how good their O is. You'll most likely win.
@@CRod7and I’m disagreeing with you. You didn’t play in NCAA 14, clearly. I used to dominate with a triple option focused offense with a mixed passing game. Vick at QB to ensure you had that dual threat, but even using Eric Crouch and Tommie Frazier was fun at QB
@@adamthesportsfan2346 we’re on the same page here lol. There was a comment by a “Jacob” who called it a “cheesy way to play”. I agree with tougher competition you need both, but I managed to beat folks rarely passing. The passing scheme only got involved when needed lol
Are all defensive playbooks the same online for you guys? It only gives me 4-2-5, 4-4, nickel, and dime online no matter which team I use. No base formations like 3-4, or 4-3 which is what most teams actually use.
actually a lot of team in college football use more DBs since the rise in spread formations. 3-4 and 4-3 are partially used by some teams, but I can’t tell you off the top of my head who own those defenses. You can look it up in the create playbook and going into each defense formation and seeing who has 3-4 and 4-3… but those bases are okay, but not ideal having too many backers on the field tbh.
@@CRod7 I know and I don’t mind having 4-2-5 as an option but offline most of these teams have 3-4 and/or 4-3 in their playbooks, as well as many other packages and they literally took all those packages away for online gameplay for some reason. There are instances where the opponent is just running the ball down your throat with Ohio State and there is nothing you can do even if you put everyone in the box in a 4-2-5 cus your lineup is too small. Then your only option online is to switch to the 4-4 which is the other extreme and they can just get open with receivers against linebackers. Look at Iowa’s defensive packages offline and compare them to their online packages and you’ll see they are drastically different and the 4-2-5 doesn’t really fit their personel cus that’s not what they recruit for. The gameplay is fun but that aspect is really dumb.
@@CRod7 yeah if he can stay healthy he should definitely have a good season! Bean did well with the offense last year and we didn't lose any weapons so Jalen is in position for a great year hopefully!
I’m not sure. All signs point to next week having a gameplay dive then mode specific deep dives. According to Matt Brown, we should be expecting 4 deep dives trailers.
UNLV should be interesting to see - hopefully they get those crazy formations in there. Also, Michigan with a running offense should have a solid consistent playbook!
Because they’re going to take the real life coaches playbooks. In madden it’s always the best offensive minds that have the best playbooks, 49ers (Shanahan), Colts (Steichen), Rams (McVay), etc. We know who the coaches with the best offensive minds hence their offenses will be some of the best. I also never claimed they would be the best, but ones everyone should play with to enjoy the game to the fullest. Triple Option, Air Raid, Turbo… etc.

He didn't have the right personnel in order for that offense to work

I strongly disagree Jacob… lmao 😂. That’s a way different way to win than in Madden. Just passing all day and running mesh/crossing routes.
