- Cthulhu have an excellent reputation with producing top quality MTL RTA’s & other vape gear for a reasonable price. In this review I will try out the new Valor MTL RTA and report back to you my experience with the Valor & a sum-up.
Spec & Features:

Introducing our new airflow system that ensures smooth and quiet airflow
The Air Pin Holes are available in sizes 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.4mm, 1.6mm, and 1.8mm (without the air pin, it measures 2.5mm)
The kit includes three MTL/RDL Delrin drip tips in Black, Yellow, and White colors
The Cthulhu MOD features patented asymmetric post screws for easy MTL coil building
The RTA is constructed from 304 food-grade stainless steel
Comes with both clear and frosted glass tubes
Dimensions: 22 x 30mm (excluding the drip tip)
Liquid capacity: 2.4ml

Thank you. 🙏 I wasn’t really away to be back😊 I just mentioned a few months ago and still think so, that for my style of vaping which is MTL RTS’s there was not much new concept to review. Obviously when something or subject that I find interesting or beneficial to my subscribers I will review or discuss.

Very easy to set up and very good flavour. Your review helped again to choose an easy rta mtl to build and at the same with very good flavour.
With the bishop it’s my every day tank, I take both at work with me using different flavour on it.

Great review Nathan, I didn't want to watch your review before I did mine as I didn't want to be influenced by any cooments or opinions you may have. It turns out as usual we pretty much came to the same conclusion with regard to the Valor. One thing I have discovered is that by cutting the wick shorter than you would normally do it eliminates the sensation of condensation in the centre tube for some reason and the airflow is even smoother. Great review Nathan, as always. Nice to see a comprehensive review of this. I saw this available for pre-order when I was putting in an order for some other things, and threw it in the cart. While looking over the design and everything that came with it, I thought the same thing, no brainer for the price. I also liked the capacity for the squat size. I'll probably never use the yellow drip tip either, but I think the RDL white tip will find some use on boro devices.

Excellent review Nathan, nice to see a new rta review from you. It looks nice and easy to use though a pity with 3 drip tips none imo is a proper mtl one! and you need to remove the build to change the air pin. 2.4ml is an odd capacity to have chosen but for the money it looks a good buy.
Thanks Jonathan. The points you raised are valid. The black mouthpiece which is a proper MTL has grown on me. The other 2 are really for RDL. As for the airflow change is not on the fly but as soon as you found the right one for you I assume you don’t change it ever.

Not really. Although on any MTL RTA designed in the last few years there are some similarities to another😊I did say that the design is not the invention of the wheel but all works well and delivers excellent vape

Hi Nathan, would like to check out your thoughts on below;
1) how do you compare Alberich vs Pioneer vs Cthulhu, in terms of silent/quality and their tight draw
2) which coil and types of juice would be good fit for the automizer?
Have been watching your videos and gain much insights and saving the falls in the journey. Really appreciate it!
All 3 are current first line good quality but with slightly different mechanics. Most silent is the Cthulhu Valor. As for coil with all I use 2.5mm ID 1.0ohm naturevape core Clapton. All would taste good on all flavours. As for NETs I vape mainly blond (Virginia,burley, cavendish, Turkish and the like) tobacco blends with all 3 or hybrids

Thanks Daniel. Yes one of my guys told me that Mark will stock them and I mentioned it in the review. Mark has my email and mobile number I am always happy to hear from mark😊. As for the Artemis, the only drawback was the reverse threading which on occasion was very irritating thankfully the Valor is threaded the right way. Flavour wise I would say they are about equally excellent.

Most important thing is the Valor sounds awesome, I have 5 Artemis in rotation, to get around the reverse threading I chose my airflow then use 2 pairs of pliers and cranked it down so they've never come undone again!,
But they are showing their age so now you have me even more excited for the Valor.

What would you choose for flavour and throat hit between this RTA and the Artemis without mentioning the reverse thread
If my memory serves me correctly the Artemis delivers a touch stronger throat hit but trust me that reverse threading is a joy killer😀 you would enjoy more the Valor. My opinion of course
Hi Nathan ! First thanks for yours reviews always interesting to watch. I hesitate between buying a valor and a dwarv (clone). What could you advise me in terms of flavour ? I usually vape basic custard (nuts, caramel...) on very thin coil (diameter 1.5 mm and 0.85 ohms). Thank you in advance.
Thanks. If the Dvarw clone is of good quality and you end up getting a flawless product (nowadays most are) then go for the Dvarw as it is one on the best MTL RTA’s
Hi Nathan, thanks for your great review..I have some wicking issues with Valour, tried to revick several times using exactly same approach as you, but looks like the atomiser is having hard times to get the juice to cotton, also there is some crazy whistling noise..I use 50/50 freebase and 2.5mm coil, 2nd smallest airpin..any hint please?
Try cutting the cotton shorter so it hangs down slightly but with a gap between the deck and the cotton ends. As for the whistle try a bigger pin so you know if it is the pin size what is causing that whistle

Frankly I’m not surprised that no new MTL’s are produced by mainstream brands as in the past as the whole industry is profit driven so it is obvious where the profit is in the Boro/ RBA, Pod kits & disposables. So I agree it is refreshing that a large MTL RTA vapers segment is not ignored by some brands.
Neat little atti, I don't get why they don't make the internal angles of the channel of airflow more curved for smoother air intake. Sounds a little turbulent same as the dvarw

When you refill the tank Nathan does it leak? The threading looks like too much for the cap
No it does not suffer from vacuum issues when refilling
As I like longer coils, this looks like a 🏆. I don't like the screw top cap though Is it the Artimus 2 with bad threading? Thank You Nathan!
No Adrian it is rather like the Artemis in flavour but does not have any of the negative reverse threads that many including myself was annoying. Also the airflow is much smoother and stronger throat hit.

I have a long list that I rotate between them, all for different times of the day & moods. In short. Smoky bolder blends like Latakia, cigar & pipe blends for morning & evenings. Not really. They might be different in certain aspects but in essence both produce excellent vape. So if you are content with the bishop which is a very good MTL there is no need to upgrade
How is it for flavor in comparison to the Pioneer? Which one is better?

Top class review Nathan, as always. So this looks my style of MTL RTA with a fixed external airflow. I'm not really into the adjustable airflow ring as on occasions it has moved while in my pocket so that's why I love the fixed airflow externally, like the Dwarv, Kayfun lite, Bishop, Alberich etc. I see Naturevape getting these in Monday so I'll be grabbing one as soon as Mark puts them up.

@@netvaper well I have had the Valor for a day and yes it is not bad to be honest, like you say nothing to special about it, but it vapes great with decent flavour both NETs and desserts. Plus not many MTL RTAs released this year, in fact it's the first one I bought this year besides the Orion 2.

Not really. Stick to the bishop it is one of the best in its price range and come to think of it, better then some much more expensive

They are very different. The brunhilde is RDTA and the Valor is more traditional design. Both produce very good flavour.

I don’t have the Purity but I wouldn’t say it is not better then either, rather it is slightly different. I assume it is nearer to the purity, then to the bishop in design. As for flavour it is a bit sharper flavour then on the bishop which delivers a richer flavour but the Valor is definitely noisier on the airflow. Build and wick is very easy on both the bishop (although different style) & the Valor.
@@netvaper maybe you should try the purity plus. i really love bishop,very easy to wick,great design,and great flavour, but purity plus produce the better flavour than bishop and its cheaper too. But its harder to wicking it.
Hello Nathan, how would you compare it to the Alberich 2 in terms of throat hit and flavor? Any LEAKS??? Are 2,4ml enough? Thanks in advance
Hi Nikos. Both produce amazing flavours but the Alberich can be tricky regarding leaks especially when topping up liquid. If you work it out it is one of the better MTLs otherwise the Valor is simpler to use on a daily basis. For MTL 2ml is just enough for a decent amount of vaping duration. One thing to consider that if you vape NETs in any case you would want to re-wick after 2-3 ml

Dead rabbit mtl rta review
I don’t review a product I don’t buy for myself or received it but don’t like it. I am afraid the dead rabbit MTL RTA is one of them. The Valor is much better quality. That said for DTL RDA dead rabbit series are excellent.

😁Sorry Joeri. To be honest when it relates to my vaping, I invest my money & time only in what is important to me for my vape like MTL RTAs, coils, cotton & NET's. everything else including tools is secondary, if it is good enough for the task in hand it is good enough for me😊
