- Finally, I have the opportunity to try out the Diplomat MTL RTA plus an array of accessories but not all that is available to buy. Watch my full & through review and my final thoughts. I strongly recommend to checkout Centenary Mods website for more info on every Accessory that they have available for the Diplomat.
Specification & features
Diplomat MTL RTA is top notch quality bottom fill pure MTL RTA made of 304L stainless steel and designed with a new airflow technology, creating flavourful and intense clouds with no turbulences.
Compactness and simplicity allow an easy cleaning and rebuild. Comes with three different bells that alter the flavour. It is also equipped with an adjustable airflow ring (0.8 to 1.8mm draw).
The Diplomat ships with three different bells: Duke, Rhodesian and Hawkbill. Each with a different geometry, diameter, height and chimney, to allow the Diplomat to pair well with a wide variety of e-liquid profiles.
Tip: Test each of the bells and adjust the coil placement to your preference, prior to filling the atomizer with liquid

Airflow system:
AN INNOVATIVE AIRFLOW SYSTEM Inside the deck is where the magic happens. With its circular ring between the air intake and airpin, smooth and silent draw, and good air compression/acceleration is achieved without the need for smaller airflow pins. With a larger airflow under the coil, the air will be dispersed more evenly and cool down faster. This allows for a perfect draw, from a really restrictive MTL to a loose MTL.
Recommended wire: 28ga for airflow 0.8mm-1.2mm. 27/26ga for airflow 1.4mm and above. WARNINGS Use a regulated mod to check the resistance of the co
DIPLOMAT MTL RTA - AIRPIN KIT Four different airpins and a new air ring with three holes. With this kit we are able to change the air compression in the Diplomat. Made for those who like a softer throat hit with a smaller, but faster airflow that hits the coil.
The new airflow ring allows you to modulate the throat hit. The larger the three air intake holes selected, the softer it will be. You can also use it with the stock airpin (1.8mm) for an even airier, more open shot, or just a different feel by selecting smaller holes.
Airpins: 0.8, 1, 1.2 and 1.5 mm.
DIPLOMAT MTL RTA - POKER BELL The smallest bell for the Diplomat RTA. Made to emphasize sweetness and concentrate the main aromatic notes. Its narrow inner diameter along with the double bell shape (similar to the Rhodesian) will bring the Danish pipe experience into your meditative vaping sessions.
DIPLOMAT MTL RTA - FREEHAND BELL The special processing at the top of this bell acts as an internal heat sink and increases the turbulence of the air around the coil by mixing the vapor together with the air faster and "aggressively". The main effect is a dry, unsweetened vapour, suitable for naturally extracted tobacco juices, also tending to balance all the different components of a complex mixture.

DIPLOMAT MTL RTA - SS TANK WITH LOGO Full 304L stainless steel tank with Centenary Mods logo. Mirror polished finish. Increases diplomat capacity by 0.2ml.
DIPLOMAT MTL RTA - SS WINDOW TOP TANK Combined with a PC or PSU tank creates a complete standard tank for the Diplomat. Mirror polished finish.
They are top fill kits, allows the user to make top refill instead of bottom refill. When we decided to make a nano kit we thought that a faster filling system would be a nice feature. We tried it and we liked so much that we did also a Standard version of the kit.
#Nose Warmer is the nano kit. 36mm height, comes with 3 bells (Poker, Rhodesian and Volcano, the smallest bells to achieve max capacity), 3 top caps and a nano glass tank. 3 to 3.5ml capacity
#Churchwarden (which i am using) is the standard version, 41mm height, 3 bells. Freehand (which is my choice) Rhodesian and Duke, 3 top caps and a standard glass tank. 5 to 5.5ml capacity.

This was an awesome review on my favourite Mtl RTA. I enjoyed it very much.
First of all, it might be a little bit confusing with all those new addons, but the Diplomat already does an excellent job with the parts provided in the standard version.
The black POM driptip only came with the first batch in 11/2022. With the release of the second batch, it was delivered with this great driptip by BKS. They have developed a smart and simple system, named "build your tip", so you can choose from different drip tip bases and different mouthpieces and you can combine them the way you like.
By the way, Centenary Mods did not change anything on the Diplomat from batch 1 to the actual batch 4 (beside the driptip), because it simply worked.
I never had any leaking or gurgeling, even when I chose less amount of cotton, wich did not cover the whole juice well (of course, it should cover the juice ports). So in my opinion, it is also a good choice for beginners.
The idea of the airflow ring from the airpin kit, in combination with the airpin of your choice, is to provide more air compression and airspeed, so the position of the ring should be turned to "fully open".
How to find the bell, that suits you most in an easy way?
Build your deck and moisten the wick. Now, only screw on the bell with the drip Tip, but without the tank section and use it as a dripper. This way, you can simply switch between the bells and find your favourite one. 😉

Dear Nathan. Happy,healthy and peaceful new year. If you combine the 1.2 pin or another small pin with the 3hole airflow ring, I believe you can achieve much better air compression. Although the bottom airflow ventury effect ( same as millennium) does well job even with the 1.8 pin.

Thanks Zen. You choose what is good for you. The RTA package itself is good enough unless you want the all glass set up as I am using then buy the churchwarden top fill kit. As for other MTLs in the pipeline for 2024 time would tell.

Fantastic review Nathan.
I think the colored one is the PSU while the one sitting on the atty is the PC.
Roberto is net vapor himself, everything behind Diplomat is to create an atomizer set that highlights dark net tobaccos, while duke is more aimed at dry like Burley.
Freehand was also against Burley while Poker was against Virginia, but as he said, we all have different tastes.
Diplomat in my opinion is aesthetic, gorgeous!
I have one and am waiting for additional equipment from Roberto before I use it.
The other thing I like about Centenary is that we can buy additional decks.

I picked up a Dvarw FL MTL 24mm a few weeks ago and I can’t put it down!
I have finally stopped having my morning cigarette and have been fully vaping for 2 and a half weeks now after many previous failed attempts. I must thank you as I couldn’t have done it if I didn’t find your channel a year or so ago. Your love of NETs is infectious and very motivating. NETs have become what I vape 99% of the time. The normal fruits and desserts just don’t hit the spot for me and I find them difficult to use all day whereas the NETs I don’t.
Keep doing what you’re doing, your videos are irreplaceable for us NET and MTL users. 😁

What a stunning piece of kit and all the accessories too, made time last night to watch this in full then I forgot to comment!,
I love all the different way's you can customise it, especially the top fill option, other 'high end' companies usually rely on 3rd party modders to do the extras,
I think my choice would be the 3ml with top fill and same 1.5mm airpin,
On a sperate note Mark and I just got the Edd Sputnik, his treat not mine,
So I have that to look forward to when my chest clears up, or should I say if it clears up, it's been months!

Thanks Mark i agree he designed it as a Net Vaper would😉 the only tweak i would have wanted is a airflow ring with some grip as the current one is so polished your fingers cannot get a grip if you want to turn it while it is on a mod.

Nice timing, I just tbought the mod and nose warmer kit and both arriving tomorrow. Looking forward to trying it out and comparing experiences! I couldn't get the larger top fill as it was out of stock but I did get a few alternate drip tips. Been noticing recently that drip tip can have quite a dramatic effect on flavour, anyone else notice that or am I imagining it? :)

Hi Nathan, great to see you review the Diplomat RTA, I got it early and had a great experience, I really enjoyed putting the Virginia in it. Another thing is that I got a set of 90% new millennium RTA with all the accessories (including the short bell) for less than 200 euros

Great review Nathan, wow so many options but all seem very relevant for individual tastes. Looks a smashing bit of kit and pretty as well. Maybe Roberto would like a UK seller?

There is no better place to sell MTL RTAs then on a vendor’s website who himself is a rebuildable Expert with like minded customers especially if he has in addition a social media presence to talk about new products & advice. A small disagreement: when the outside air is smaller, and under the coil greater, the pressure changes, thus the draw and taste and all performance in general. That's why in mtl I always prefer air reducers. One more reason, the fact that throat hit is the No. 1 thing for me.
But, each of us is unique and has different desires and needs.

I think is number 1 in term prize/quality, very versaile atty, also in nose varmer is another bell "Volcano" which is amazing with fruity tobacco, also like it with azhad 1000', great rewiev anyways. :)

Not every style is suitable for all. Any vape device that works for you is best for you. As for the new Bi2hop (not sure how to spell it😀) yes it looks very much like the Bishop. Will see.

It's time that i really need your advice :
I'm using for many years Steam Crave classic, but i'm searching an atomizer for better analysis, better possible flavor.
In the price range of Classic, i'm ready to buy Bi2shop because of it's wicking, dont know about flavour analysis.
I really need your opinion if Diplomat or any other atomizer , no matter price range, is the real "next level" in terms of taste.
Because as you can realize i'm not a tester, i keep my vape products for a long time and Classic untill now served me well ( i know you have it also so you allready know pros and cons ).

The Bishop V2 produces very good flavour & throat hit also the build quality is great, I think you would be very happy with it. Of course the Diplomat is a worthy upgrade but I think the Bishop would serve you well without the extra expense.

It will be either the Fev or diplomat. To choose one would be like choosing Mercedes or BMW it is a matter of personal preference as both are top of their game.

Good afternoon and congratulations for the excellent review!A wonderful mtl rta!Therefore I sometimes experience flooding of the deck and leaking from the air holes during the refill process with the top refill kit. As soon as I remove the top cap I witness multiple bubbles an after I complete the refill process the deck is flooded and after a while there is some leaking from the bottom of the rta...Is it a matter of cotton quantity or am I doing something else wrong?Thank you in advnace and congratulations again for the amazing review
P.S. The air is fully closed during the refilling process
Sorry to hear that Mike. What you described is a classic vacuum issue. When you undo the top cap sometimes that can cause air pressure release that causes downward pressure so the liquid is forced towards the deck causing flooding. Hold the tank upside down and open the top cap a fraction just enough for any pressure to release without causing the liquid to rush down. Then turn it back to upright position and remove top cap fully and add liquid. That vacuum issue should be resolved. Otherwise use the bottom fill that doesn’t cause any vacuum issues.
Hi Nathan, hope you're well. I will be buying this from Mark soon, as there are a few accesories, in your opinion, which ones would you say are essential? If it helps, I'll be vaping mostly strong, smokey NET's such as Kentucky/Latakia/English Mixture etc. Cheers
In my opinion the only accessory worth having is the 5ml freehand bell & the all glass tank to accommodate it. The top fill is not necessary as I have learned from experience that bottom feed on this RTA is sure way to avoid over / under saturation.
Hi Nathan, thanks for your great vidéo, that made me purchase a diplomat deck with the churchwarden top refill kit.
But I'm going crazy: Every time I fill the tank, it starts to leak profusely through the airhole.
I tried closing the airhole before filling, and turning the ato over as soon as the topcap was screwed back on, and it's the same.
I also put as much cotton as the coil allows me, filling the juicetanks well over their entire width and depth, but not better.
And I also tried with coil at the lowest, and coil raised, and still the same.
Do you have an idea of where the problem could be?
For your information, I am on kanthal 27ga diam. 2.5mm (5-6 turns for 0.8 to 1 ohm) with Titanium fiber elite cotton, and I vape on PG60/VG40 nets.

Hi Greg. Simple solution for you. Use it as a bottom feeder. Meaning if yours is a top fill which I suspect it is. Secure the top cap and fill the tank upside down by inserting the liquid nuzzle between the glass & chimney. Fill 3/4 not to the top then moisten the cotton lightly and screw the deck while holding the tank in it’s upside down position when fully secured turn it to it’s upside position and screw it on your mod as usual. No leaking. Btw make sure no liquid is within the base by either undoing the base with designated key or by sucking any moisture through the airflow hole before you follow the above method.
For this price range including tank cracker thats insane! Made in China..... if you added 30/40 more high end like kayfun or sputnik
What would you choose between this one and the FeV vs? I like to vape tobaccos and I like a strong throat hit.
Difficult to answer😊 The diplomat deliverers stronger throat hit. Flavour wise very close. If you like the vintage look of the Fev VS go for the Fev VS Dual.
@@netvaper Stronger hit on the Diplomat? That’s a surprise for me since FeVs have a nice hit. I’m really struggling to decide between the two, I like both of them. But I’ll follow your advice and go for the vs dual. Thanks!

Excellent review for beginners and for advanced vapers ( especially part whit dimensions of chimneys ) . Imo every manufacturer of high end vape products ( mods , RTA....) should have this kind of video when we scan QR code ( some of them have all information like explode view, information about features etc but not nicely explained like in vid ) .
I like Diplomat ( mine to is coustumuse bcz I bay from official representative) and it's more beautiful when you hold it in your own hands than on camera then you really see and appreciate all hard work + esthetic put into RTA ,, even holes inside chimney are done nice as diamond cap .
Love innovation that small Europe companies do to us vapers even they know that Chinese will clone them ASAP so I support them when I like product, bcz whit out Centenary, SvoeMesto,KHV,Flash ....( even German 103 , Angry Fox....small vape groups of enthusiast) vape community wuld be 10y behind ( still using dripers, or clunky RTA for MTL) in innovations.
Great choice of drip tip it is Diplomat drip tip , I have Abraham Lincoln version.
I use mine when I'm outside (full SS style) so it's diamond tank. But still flavour and air flow idk I can't whit out my holy trinity Dvarw FL MTL for perfect airflow+ flavour, Kayfun X top fill and airflow on the fly + Brunhilde MTL when I'm in company whit vapers I just took top cap and drip their juice on the fly 😊to try it .
Offcorse Fev is hause pet bcz I done all possible upgrades it looks like vase not RTA 😂
My hope is that one day Europe companies unite and whit combine knowledge bring us high end RTA that has everything best from each RTA they produced in one single RTA , whit options before buying to coustumuse it how much it is possible . I know it's is almost impossible but that was my NY wish .
Centenary did excellent RTA and I use it , but still something in minimalistic perfect Dvraw FL MTL+ top fill bell cap from their website is mine all day RTA and Kayfun X too bcz no fuss whit air flow if I want to change it .... Brunhilde MTL is my go to for tasting new flavours and homemade wires/coils .
In short Centenary put on your website link to this video so Vapers who don't have chance to see your product at least can see next best thing ( this video)

Mine floods immediately when I refill it. (topfill.) I think it would have been better if you could close off the juice holes. But still, it’s a very good RTA. I enjoy vaping it.
I bottom feed mine with no vacuum issues. You can bottom feed your tank with the top fill cap as well.
